    This man is a gift to humanity and the world itself.
    He has and still continues to inspire a countless number of individuals in his lifetime and I am one of them. It all started when I started to watch BBC documentaries narrated by Sir Attenborough in my undergrad. That phase was an eye-opener for me. I decided to change my field of study during my undergraduate and wanted to invest my life studying and doing something which is in close proximity to the natural world. As of this day, I am pursuing my master's in Water Resources Engineering and focusing more on the impacts of climate change on the hydrological cycle of the earth and how it affects us all. I have never been more satisfied with my studies and life in general. Every day the motivation is to do something (big or small) which serves the purpose this man has stated in each one of his documentaries: take care of this planet as if it is your own home, be consciously aware of the choices you make every day and their environmental consequence. I am eternally grateful to the BBC team for their work and Sir Attenborough for his exquisite narration which influenced me and millions of others to take a step forward towards acting as responsible human beings of this beautiful planet.

      eg Trump. I don't think the older generation generally are going to make the change, they're too set in their ways. I think it's down to the next two generations to make the connection between humans and their devastating effects on the rest of nature. If humans want a future, the future for them is vegan. Otherwise the various pandemics will make the decision for them.

      I think that is true for many people who have a passion for something in their life. ....
      Many old people just fade because they feel they have nothing else to live for . Family etc...but family is often far away busy with their own lifes.
      I've notices that people who have a passion for something often live much longer. It can be science , literature anything. Or even if they have to care for grandkids (for example if their own kinds passed away or are uncapable ). Even caring for pets prolongs ones life....
      Its all about purpose. A human without purpose looses incentive and interest for life and slowly fades away.

    One question why was this latest David Attenborough Film not being broadcast on BBC TV as nearly all of the past David Attenborough films over the many decades have been broadcast on BBC TV. But Netflix broadcast, which was probably David Attenborough’s most important film ever about the future of this planet. If this very important film had been broadcast on BBC TV, far more people in the UK would have been able to watch this very important film about life on this planet along with other forms of wildlife. Or sadly does money now now count, so far less people are able to watch this very important film by David Attenborough and sadly that now seems to be case on this occasion in the UK.

      I had a conversation about politics recently and someone who I thought was 'on my side' was asking me really difficult, seemingly confrontational questions in a way that someone with polar opposite views might. My initial reaction was to feel defensive, but then I realised he was actually just asking questions that forced me to answer difficult questions in a way that strengthened my argument and better showed where I was coming from. Maybe it's the same thing here. Maybe the interviewer is asking the questions of the opposite side in order to show how strong his position is.

    well, alrighty then. if he only flies for work, i guess we should follow his example. i also fly only for work...but i'm also the Mayor of Funtown, so i fly quite a bit. but only for work! so that's ok, right? i think it emits less CO2 if you're not enjoying it. so if you simply must fly, make a frowny face the entire time to reduce carbon emissions.

    They bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; *for they proceed from evil to evil* and they know not me, saith the LORD.
    {Jeremiah 9:23}

    {Psalm 2:4}
