Welcome to another video! So I recently turned 34 and upon reflecting wanted to share some advice that I wish someone had shared with me when I was younger. I really hope you find it helpful and encouraging!

The friends one is such a big one. Often not a nice feeling so it’s so important to remember that some friendships really are just for a season

I'm 34 single mum and I've given up on stressing myself on buying a property. I earn 33k and live in London work 9-5. There's so much pressure to earn more, be your own boss, own property. I've sat ba k and after careful deliberation, it's not financially feasible for me. I will lose more than gain. I'm not looking at others, I'm glad for them but this pressure to own your place is too much. Body goals I workout to be strong not to have the bbl look without having the bbl procedure. Friends, if they are not putting in the same energy as me then I'm not putting in anymore. I've learnt to be content, feel happier

Im 25 married with a kid and I own a house. feel like I'm moving too quick lol. Can't imagine what a whole decade later feels like.
😂 nah not at all! It’s to go with the pace/blessings/opportunities you’ve been afforded with and that are available to you. It’s just that we all have different timelines and sometimes society makes us believe that we are behind if we don’t have “it all together” by the time we’re 25

Glad you are enjoying my channel! That’s really encouraging ❤️ and yes 100% the single questions literally flood in after 30, and it’s frustrating because people seem to have more of an interest in your relationship status than for example your mental health status or how you are generally in life. I’m finding that the key is to stay focussed on your goals and your purpose and try not to live by societies benchmarks and ideas of where they think we should be.
Alexandra Marshall-Grant thank you for your wise words 🙏🏾 I’m Nigerian so these ‘single questions’ are constant now with relatives🤦🏾♀️...like you mentioned, I also prioritise my mental health, and I also believe in divine timing so I try to ignore the relatives who feel the need to tell me I’m running “late” lol...thank you once again ❤️

Firstly I’m so sorry that you’re struggling 🥺 please feel free to DM me on insta if me if you want to talk
Secondly, I would tell myself that things are going to be okay and just because it doesn’t feel like it or even look like it right now it doesn’t mean that this is my forever situation.
Thirdly, I would tell myself that God has a specific plan and purpose for me. That I have not been forgotten and that I am loved and seen.
And lastly I would tell myself that I have so much value to offer and to stop comparing how I look to my friends and what I saw on tv (we didn’t have social media back then)
Remember you don’t have to have life all figured out, no one does.
