Brought back the nostalgia. Watched this video from start to end. I have studied from DIT University the one college you passed by while riding, now I am in Bangalore doing job. In my college days, we used to bunk classes and go to Mussorie, man, what days those were and this road

I don’t know if you’ve visited hathi paon/ George Everest peak before but the road that leads to it from main Mussoorie road is simply a joy to ride on. The road is isoloated, without much traffic and is one of my favourite roads to ride on in Dehradun area. Highly recommended! There’s also a little off-road patch beyond George everest towards cloud’s end.

Love to see the same beautiful place again. I remember going thru the same narrow market lane in my xuv 500 and getting stuck big time. With great difficulty i could come to landour. So while leaving ensured that we left early morning.... Would love to go there again but this time in all new Himalayan

italian traffic seems to be orderly compared to this ... as a german i wouled get a cardiac arrest in this ... fluidly interpreted traffic rules ^^ ... but only until i get used to it

I'm thinking about booking one now. And change it as an accessory when it comes or wait it out and take it as stock ?
They will put the tubeless rims on a different segment and charge a premium once that Demand is over then only if will be available as a accessory. If you are really interested it's best to wait it out for now till the launch of the bike with tubeless

@Twenty3Rides Hii... I've watched your comparison video 3-4 times 😅, but as this will be my one and only bike for a bit of time I'm comparing .
I mean the himalayan and scr 400x . I do not have any vehicle and this is going to be the first. I found out throughout youtube that Triumph scr. Is way more reliable than himalayan 450.
Found some isshes in it , like the unwanted rear wheel lock ( no play in the rear brake lever ) , cone set issue ( from sagar sheldekar video ) ride-by-wire delay and instrument cluster lag , bit of heating issue (from ur video) , no Traction Control.. Not well finished metal joints..
I do ignore the problems over the feeling . And i feel like himalayan is more rugged than triumph . But will it fit the family purpose and the extras i want to do with it .?
What would you vhoose if you had to choose one as your first and only .? I hope i can rely on your suggestion as you've had your hands on both of them

For all purpose use.. I mean family use, Pillion comfort, City and highway + offroad- I would say for with Himalayan..
the only area where scram400x shines incity and premiumness.. Thats it.

I have booked the Kamet white colour. But now Im confused between Kaza brown and kamet white..Is paying 10k extra worth for the just the graphics. I felt like the kaza brown is too basic

Go with what u love...money ull earn more...don't worry... colour is first...don't compromise on colour....everytime u see the bike u should be happy...that's what bikes are for...

Yes.. bro.. was trying a new format 8:7… Has to correct it with Zooming, but i feel it now zooms in too much.. anyways lesson learnt.. will go back to 16:9 in coming videos..
How would u rate the Gear ratios for the bike?
They are fine.. I felt like riding in 3rd or 4th max while going up.. Power was Ok for a single cylinder.
I keep watching your videos on the new Himalayan. What I want to get is the new Triumph 400x, but the more I see of the 452 it’s making it a hard decision.
@@robertdorr6607Don't get distracted by them. Most of these 'exclusive' pre-launch videos are nothing but paid promotion by RE. Unless you see the videos by the owners themselves you shouldn't take it too seriously. All these youtubers are specially invited for a specific event, they are given the bike and been asked to praise every inch of the bike. So just wait for the real videos.
Its a great VAlue for Money machine.. Personally after riding a 1000+ kms , i have just found a few areas of Improvement which have nothing to do with the machine, but software on the instrument cluster.
But i would recommend you to definitely take a test ride and then make up your mind.. Every one needs to test ride and buy..

You ride in half clutch too much and also doesn't even come to neutral when you stand still.
All i know is .. I have never faced any issues with a clutch plates in all the motorcycles i have ridden in last 20yrs.. i keep my 2 fingers in clutch and brake .. . Anyways i am still learning to ride ..
@@Twenty3Rides It's just my observation bro.. It's left to you recognize yourself and rectify if needed. If you feel you will be in the right gear at lower speeds, then fine. I am not trying to highlight the negative here. In two videos I have observed that you try to push using half clutch when you were in higher gear at low speeds to get a momentum. Riding is a continuous learning process no matter how expert we are.

OMG...this himalayan...gearing is not good just by looking at this video it makes me tired watching it fully... I think third gear should have been little longer...what u think 23 ?? U cant ride in 2nd ...cant ride in 3rd...need to keep on switching...i understand its ghat but still...
