How come you take the guard side of Orchard Farm instead of bandit side? You have to go all the way around like that? EDIT: Also, what does punching Whisper twice at the start do?
Defend Orchard Farm is the much faster quest to execute, and has a consistent enough flow of enemies to get up to 12 Combat Multiplier. Punching Whisper sets up the training skips. 4 friendly hits to cancel a timed training.
Ahh, that's why you shoot the guildmaster a lot. Cool! Also, nostalgia real quick, seeing my favourite childhood game that took me several days to play reduced to sub 1:20. Neat.
Oh, I counted that it saves some time at the start and makes runs slightly more consistent, since no fishing at the start. Twinblade is faster and tbh, every fight is faster, because 230DMG and 3 augments is kinda op at that point. Although the augments arent that good, with enough research we could figure how much exactly the xp augment will give extra Experience, since also that can be quite good. Id do research, but since my hand is broken I can't play :/
Temessong The Experience Augmentation is confirmed to increase experience gains by 10%, although no experience gained from casting spells or dealing melee/ranged damage is affected as far as I remember. So basically Ages potions and general experience orbs. I know you could potentially afford an extra upgrade for the Arena, and the Arena is automatically a bit safer with that +10% general experience buffer, but that's about it.
And as far as fights go, they're almost all the same with the most notable exception being the Rock Troll round of Arena takes longer without the Piercing Augmentation one would otherwise put in the Master Greatsword.
I love Fable! It's one of the most nostalgic and memorable games for me. Mechanically, it's really silly and broken in a lot of places though. And from a speedrun perspective, it can be extremely frustrating. But I love it all the same.
Glad you cleared that up- got me riled up for a moment. I love Fable:TLC. I've finished it atleast 15 times, on PC and the regular Xbox, both in childhood and more recently. It's such a fantastic game, the music, the atmosphere. My favorite of all time, for sure. As I don't speedrun games, I can't speak for the technical side, so I'm sure you're far more experienced in that area than I, so I won't argue your point. Hope to see you run this another time, though. I love these videos.

I'll keep doing runs to trim off that time that I lost to a huge mess-up late in the game, as well as RNG time. Plus, more challenge style runs.

If you like the classic visuals and feel, go original TLC. If you like bubbly graphics and DLC, Anniversary is okay.

Why don't you use the Sword of Aenos early? honed down it can actually reduce your time in my opinion :)
I've tried to make it work. I may revisit it again for more testing, but I'm almost positive it cannot save time.
