Im the complete opposite now. I used to wear really colourful tracksuits when I was really young before around 2017 but now I wear a lot of neutrals

I also think black will not necessarily be out, but we're going to see an increase in the E-girl/emo aesthetic, scene styles from the early 00s are going to make a come back as well as underground rave culture. Black will just be more associated with the counter culture as the years go on in the 20s, in the beginning its a sign of those hanging on to the old ways of fashion

this inspired me to want to buy more colors and crazy patterns. neutrals are feeling so boring to me now and i just want to have a lot of color in my outfits! i feel like i need to add something else when i’m wearing neutrals bcs the outfit seems basic and not fun enough. i can’t wait to see everyone wearing fun bright colors! it makes me so happy

I'm loving how brown is out, we're bringing back the 90's doing the 70's, and all the sequins, pink and orange and pink and brown and blue and brown as color combos, early 00's fashion is back and I'm SO HERE FOR IT!!! I wish I still had my early 00s pieces like Happy Bunny and Justice sequin skirts. I don't care I'm going to buy up all the vintage 00s pieces my heart desires!! I'm so happy people are just wearing what they want, my inner child is actually doing so much healing by dressing how my child self wanted me to dress!!

You're right about the scandi girls being early on these trends. Im danish and live in Cph and I have seen these styles the last 2 years, but I still really like your opinion :) Some of the things the very fashionable girls wear her, really does take some time getting used to or thought to be able to incorporate in ones own style/wardrobe. You have such a cool vibe and great taste and somehow make things more relatable. You are making me want to rethink my personal and be more "brave"

I’m excited to see!! I feel the same way, I’ve worked at the same place for like years now and we’re told dark colors which we’ve translated to all black. This past year I’ve branched out to other dark colors trying to make it more interesting and branch out. I’m also looking forward to the checkerboard print

I'm really loving how fashion currently is become more 'out of the box', people are playing around with different aesthetics and there seems to be a lean on eclectic fashion styles. And I have always loved regal/historic fashion pieces such as baroque/rocco corsets and layering them over white shirts and chemises and seeing everyone embracing it so so fun!
I hope we bring capes back tho! Never understood why we ever stopped wearing them...but that might just be my obsession with Lord of the rings and harry potter jumping out 🤣

I did trend forecasting for one of my classes last semester for 21/22 and you are spot on about metallic and like luxe fluidity a lot. watch out for cut outs a lot of open shoulder elbow and torso in 2022.
