I wonder why they have created slide outs but have yet create a pop up for lofts , like when you are parked , with a push of a button loft ceiling extends up and now you have a true second floor.
I think it would increase the gross weight that would be transferred directly into the bed of your tow vehicle and at the same time limit your payload.
Today is Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023. I just got this video up as recommended for me on UA-cam. I've seen a few videos of Myles doing tours of rvs. I've read so many comments on many of those rvs. Those opinions can be helpful. Perhaps I didn't notice during the video that there were too few outlets, or it would be difficult to tow. Cool. But I feel horrible for poor Myles when people are rude about about his videos. If you don't like him for some personal reason why comment? Just don't watch his stuff in the future. He's just a person doing his best to succeed in his chosen field. No reason to forget the focus of the video and be rude to the sales person. On a side note, thanks Myles for showing another great rv, hickey or no, charming lisp or not. Your efforts are appreciated, even though I could never actually be a customer I do enjoy "window shopping".
Best presentation I've seen cos he got straight to the important part the inside living area & didn't waste half the video on boring outside the stuff. Xx I wish they could sell 1 to me in uk in 10yrs when I retire. Xx
Its really cool how the loft is all windows. Personally I would prefer a smaller kitchen and another couch. With all that sleeping space you need room to comfortably sit all those people in the daytime.
I could not agree more. It sleeps at least 4 (add 8 more in loft and you're looking at 12!), seats 4 to eat, and only two to relax and sit the rest of the day. It's ridiculous.
@@alaina2252 Class a motorhomes are the other way around. Many of them sleep 2 to 4 and sit 6 in the daytime (captains chairs + 2 couches.) But the kitchen is very small compared to 5th wheels because they assume the owners can afford to eat out XD.
If I had a family of 4 or more this would be the fifth wheel for me. Two full baths, two complete bedrooms, loft, kitchen, dining, and living area that would rival any other RV. Or even for the retired couple that knows the grand kids are going to travel with you during the summer vacations. Seriously an awesome unit.
This 5W is...fantastic. We have one that is basically a front suite with 4-place kids bunkhouse and loft in back, and I thought that was great use of space. This one is on a whole other level. That loft is out of this world. Everything looks much better thought out and engineered compared to 95% of 5Ws out there. I want this one something fierce now.
I love this 5th wheel! It's just me, but I have 2 grown children, with their spouses and 3 grandchildren. With the kids in the loft, or on bar stools, this would comfortably fit us all day or night. This is my favorite so far!! 👍👍
We have a 3 and a 5-year-old and the loft would be the perfect sleeping space for them. The second bedroom could also sleep the in-laws when they come with us. Yes, the seating is a little tight for a bigger family but a couple of adults could be sitting at the dinette and I think the island would accommodate a barstool or two.
Loft's give you so much added space, don't know why more of them don't put them in. I like the ones that have a small staircase so young adults can use it.
I couldn't agree more!!! We are looking to upgrade our current 5th wheel. There's only 4 of us but we always have other families coming with us so this one would be perfect. Buuutttt there's no outdoor kitchen 😢 😔 😞 😕 💔 i know it's because of the layout and there's really no where they could put one but this would have been the one i bought if it did. It's perfect in every other aspect.
Many very creative ideas in this RV. I'm wondering if they could make the ceiling of the loft like a pop-up trailer, thus gaining 24-36" extra in height of the loft, when at site and all set up. is there sound attenuation in the floor of the loft? kids move around, and that would make for a very loud night for whomever is sleeping in the bedroom below. Overall a great floor plan, in my opinion.
I think this is a very nice unit. I would have preferred the longer couch with the pop into the floor table option and the chairs to fold away or stools to fold away. I mean I don't like fighting the bugs for every meal. Lol
I was their today ! And I’m actually purchasing a 5th wheel the Sprinter 2021 , I was shown by James ! Great guy ! Bro y’all have the best team ! Customer service was freakn out the roof 👍🏽 but man I’m interested in something like this now !
I wish more videos were on 5th wheels under 40 ft. There are very few campgrounds that allow anything over that length and National parks don’t allow them so basically if you have a camper longer than 40 ft, you have no where to park it.
We are looking for this exact style of RV. We would shrink the bed size in the 2nd bedroom down to a twin or full so our disabled daughter had more floor space to maneuver around the bed. I would use the loft space as my office (I am short, I could fit)!
Hi Myles, Love your videos. Your so thorough. I love this rv. My husband are planning to go full time and this rig is almost perfect. The one thing I would change (I emailed Keystone and asked if this were feasible, they said yes) in the second bedroom I would like to replace the bed with a sleeper sofa. I want room for company but in between the room would be usless for us. With a couch it would be a great den. I asked and you can't order it that way but we are DIY people. Too bad they didn't sell it that way or at least with the option. Thanks for your videos. Kim
Yeah unfortunately to modify floor plans significantly slows down production because they have everything set up in the factories to make the floor plans exactly how they are designed. If you watch my video of the Ultimate Montana with The Flipping Nomad, there’s a bunch of resources for remodeling RVs since that is the only way to modify a floor plan.
Love the kitchen...I love to cook...this is now on my top 3 5th wheel list...especially with my little one and his cousins would have a blast in the loft
My wife and I had our eyes on a forest river Cherokee 39ca but as soon as we seen this we both said this is the perfect rv for us and both of my daughter's loved it which they are 10 and 6
Two sleeping suites of sleeping space but LR seating for only 2. That's a huge miss. Park a TV/game system up in that loft and some thick throw pillows and you have a functional space for kids. Make that bed fold up and slide into a couch and make the dresser convert into a desk and you have a very versatile space in the back. This configuration allows for 6-7 people to sleep in the rig but you can't seat or feed them.
Cedar Creek has a dropdown back den and overhead loft with an actual small staircase. Only problem with this setup is the dropped frame, we bottomed out on a sloped parking lot. Damaged the back cap.
I was considering this one or the Sabre 37fll 2024. It is tough to choose between those two. We have choosen the Sabre because we have many kids and there is two loft, one bigger than this one, the other is same size, all this accessible through stairs instead of a ladder. Yall are so worried about more seating in the living room area when you can literally install a sofa/recliners and get rid of the table. Really simple lol.
So get rid of the only table and chairs where you would eat play cards or games, for a sofa. Guess you can eat on all those beds. Sounds logical.👎🤣You just don't get it huh?
I would also say that I think that you could easily get like an app L shape sofa in there and I think that would be better and I do you like it that they got dining tables and the kitchen island is absolutely fantastic I really think that’s a good size
I would make the bedroom under the loft a bunkhouse and take the dinette and loveseat out and have a two couches like a toyhauler and a more residential stove/oven.

14.3 + 2.2 = 15,500 pounds, so 15.5k. This means it’s on the line between 3/4 ton and 1 ton pickups. Given the weight difference, you should have Dual'ies as well.
Total weight is on 14,300. You don't add hitch weight on top of that. Hitch is 2,740, you can remove that weight from the axles when looking at axle load.
@@mseadorf -- Well THAT's interesting! Looks like the weights have changed on their "Specs" web page for this model. They are now Dry/Shipping weight of 14.3k, Cargo/carrying cap. 2.2k, and hitch weight at 2,740 pounds. I don't think I did what you say, as I know to add dry weight plus Max Cargo Weight, with gives you the GVW of 15.5k (previously 16.5 or I called it 17k). NOTE that the hitch/tongue/bed weight from most manufacturers does NOT include the cargo/carrying weights, however apparently Keystone does. The general rule I've always heard is 15% to 20% of the GVWR, so with this unit 15% would be 2,325, but like you say I'd go with their 2.74k weight, OR assume slightly more when loaded (20% est. would be 3.1k). My point was (So sorry if I wrongly assumed you were correcting me) that a 3/4 ton Ram 2500 for example tops out at about 4k payload depending 2x or 4x drive, with a tow rating or around 17k. at 15.5 you are close to the max. With the bed weight of somewhere between 2.7 and 3k, at the max payload of 4k, you have about 1k available payload. Add two 180 pound adults, some gas (Diesel 7 pounds per gal, assume larger 43 gal tank that is about 300 pounds) the 5w hitch, and some tools and you are at or OVER your max bed weight. So you are in the one ton pickup truck range. Feel free to disagree with me, my bother would argue "That's nuthin', my half ton would tow it easy!" LOL! Am I wrong?
I have been saying that for years lol. When will they listen and get it. If it gets wider from slides why not taller. Space is useless for adults until they implement your idea. Well OUR idea lol.
Would be cool but honestly alot of structural work because of rain and wind plus maintenance costs would be higher that way with seals leaking after time
@@joshweiser7737 Hey Josh didn't think about the maintenance since it would be a moving part. What you think about it being canvas then? Like the popup tent trailer fabric? They seem to last long. If the loft area roof could be cranked up and the side walls can be canvas. Lmao. Just a thought. Wish i were an engineer😕
Luv this big ol thang. N also umm just an FYI you may wanna rub/blend your concealer in more so it doesn’t look as if u had any on. Anyways thank u for showing! Stay safe n blessed
In the loft, is the front a toy box? It would be a shame if that space on both sides of the banister isn’t storage. Also really needs seating in living room, but this is really beautiful!
The back frame being dropped like that limits any minor slope in terrain other than dead flat ground. I could not possibly back that Rv into my garage with the small slope I have on the driveway in front without the ass end hitting the ground.

Am I wrong?
It would be cool if the loft raised up and down.
I have been saying that for years lol. When will they listen and get it. If it gets wider from slides why not taller. Space is useless for adults until they implement your idea. Well OUR idea lol.
Would be cool but honestly alot of structural work because of rain and wind plus maintenance costs would be higher that way with seals leaking after time
@@joshweiser7737 I was thinking about Will Smith RV remember that one
@@joshweiser7737 Hey Josh didn't think about the maintenance since it would be a moving part. What you think about it being canvas then? Like the popup tent trailer fabric? They seem to last long. If the loft area roof could be cranked up and the side walls can be canvas. Lmao. Just a thought. Wish i were an engineer😕
@@bread1206 Yep.....totally blew me away...well for millions -- it better LOL Cheers
Luv this big ol thang. N also umm just an FYI you may wanna rub/blend your concealer in more so it doesn’t look as if u had any on. Anyways thank u for showing! Stay safe n blessed
Where is it in it is so amazing😮❤🎉 and spacious
In the loft, is the front a toy box? It would be a shame if that space on both sides of the banister isn’t storage. Also really needs seating in living room, but this is really beautiful!
The back frame being dropped like that limits any minor slope in terrain other than dead flat ground. I could not possibly back that Rv into my garage with the small slope I have on the driveway in front without the ass end hitting the ground.
They changed that for the 2022 model and tapered the back end to add more clearance.
Are there any electrical outlets in the loft area? Didn’t see any from the video. Thanks
Yes there are
That loft looks like the purrfect catio!
Great 5th wheel. All except for the seating.
You can always take the table out and put whatever you want in there.
Back in my my era people use these for vacations now these are people homes. But it is very nice.
Their prices are not different than buying regular house and with much less space. Nice idea. Can you make your own custom plan?
Nicer than most houses really how neat
I can’t believe this is not a tri-axle. I know weight wise tandem will do, but that length.
