    I used to do the whole David Goggins thing when it came to waking up for morning class. However, something that I found works better for me is to be kinder to myself. If I don't feel like getting up or just don't feel like going to class in general I say to myself "Future you will thank you". Saying this to myself and imagining having my black belt 10 years from now gets me out the door every time.

    Heard JT and was expecting Rugby League legend Jonathan Thurston. This other guy also offers solid advice but was hoping Thurston was transitioning to BJJ…wishful thinking.
