Today we’re applying Dixie Belle Gator Hide to this chest of drawers but any of Dixie Belle’s Clear Coats (Flat, Satin or Glossy) can be used with this application.

I always see these videos adding the top coats with the blue sponge, paint brush or sponge with the wood tip only done on either white furniture or light furniture. Can someone make a video doing it on dark furniture? I’m having SO many issues with a top I’m doing in a dark blue. The bunker hill blue by Dixie Belle. I’ve searched SO many tutorials and seen a lot of comments of people asking the same question about doing it on a dark colour furniture piece. But thanks, I’ll try this method.
