  • Are push bikes the most energy efficient means of transport
The eMTB is fabulous, it takes all the sting out of the climbs and the headwinds. I don’t even mind if it rains now, I still power along at 25 kph.
Type this search into CoPilot “are push bikes the most energy efficient means of transport”
Though they’re great for burning off the excess fat and keeping fit.
It’s certainly been wet and now the ground here in Ireland is saturated 🌧 other parts of the world are experiencing drought.
From all the research I’ve done, EV’s are absolutely here now, though a used car dealer on Ireland’s NewsTalk channel tried to suggest they weren’t 😏

Got a taxi at Aberdeen airport recently - it was a Tesla. Driver said he'd had it for 2.5 years and wouldn't go back to fossil fuels. He charges it at home at cheap rate, and costs him £5 per day to fuel it compared to £70 per day on diesel for previous vehicle. Doesn't have to be a Tesla obviously!

It really is game over for ICE cars, EVs are now comparable to buy new and second hand. Battery technology in a couple of years will have improved dramatically, range and charging times will likewise.
Say the taxi driver works a four day week for forty eight weeks; they save £12,480 a year.
Anyone buying an ICE car is insane 🤪
