- Traveling to other countries is always an adventure, but the real fun comes when you get a chance to interact with locals in a meaningful way. On our recent trip to the southern tip of Brazil, we were fortunate to be invited into 3 local schools to speak to students!
We spent the days discussing American culture and learning from those students about their lives in Brazil. Join us in this video as we give you an insight into Brazilian schools and give you a glimpse of their world.

Thanks, we loved getting to see Brazil. We have more Brazil videos coming soon!
I live in this region of Brazil and I am very happy that you are sharing this very specific culture, I hope you and your family enjoy this trip a lot.
Thanks so much!! We love Brazil, and have a few more videos coming.
Seja bem vindo! Welcome to Brasil 🇧🇷

Thanks, man. Yeah, we loved it! Yep, we’ve got a Porto Alegre video, a Gramado video, and a São Paulo video coming.

Thanks so much, we did love it! God bless you too :)
The city name is CAXIAS DO SUL 😊
Yeah, I blew it! Sorry!
Greetings from Porto Alegre! I'm waiting for a churrasco video. Week the good work!
It’s coming! We went to Schneider in Porto Alegre. We also have one in a Gramado video that’s coming too.
I came from "death by pizza" vídeo. Thank you for this job, Brazil is more than carnaval and beachs
That’s great to hear! Thanks for watching. Make sure you subscribe, I’ve got a bunch more Brazil videos coming.
Hey! Super interested in how this was organised? Who invited you guys? Thanks!
Hey! My church in the US connected with local churches in those cities to serve them however they needed. They had church members who were teachers and they asked us to come share :)
I need to correct you. The largest city in south Brazil is Curitiba with a population of 1.773.733, Porto Alegre has a population of 1.332.570.
And the correct name is not Caxais do Sul but Caxias do Sul.
Okay, thanks for the comment. I’ve always been told that Curitiba is considered Central Brazil.
@@YaleWall no South Brazil has 3 states Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Paraná capital is Curitiba. Central (accurately Western Central) is Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás and the federal disdrict of Brasília.

@@thewatcherisBr good to know, thanks!

I am Asian , welcome to travel in Asian countries , Tokyo Japan , Seoul Korea , Shanghai China , Hong Kong , Taipei Taiwan , Manila Philippines , Bangkok Thailand , Kuala Lumpur Malaysia , Singapore , Jakarta Indonesia
Thanks. I’d love to visit all of those places some day.
We don’t go to school for 3 to 4 hours a day, it’s rubish , I don’t think if you are being honest
Where do you go to school?
I'am brazilian, he's telling the truth. Here we have 2 schools periods, morning for a group of kids and afternoon for other group. It occurs 'cause we do not have enough and bigger schools buildings to reach everyone. We do have full period schools but they are not public they are private and very expensive ones. I feel happy you probably study in a country wich can afford for 8 plus hours of education. You are really privileged, hope you make good use of it and try to get out of your small world and be able to see more then your own reality.
@@thewatcherisBr No no ! I was born and raised and brought up in the countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil and I also went to a public school with “full-time “ period.
@@thewatcherisBr we DO**
@@mrmanx89 thank you! English is not my primary language. 👍
