- How do you recover from the death of a dream? Today’s guest, Ed Mylett, the standout athlete and pro baseball hopeful discovered a richer and true meaning to life when he turned his focus on children who needed him most.
Mylett speaks about being so broke he was living out of his car to now being highly successful and having the platform to inspire millions. Mylett’s relatable style of empowerment will help you tap into your true potential.
I cannot express how impactful this conversation has been on me. I am at that stage in life where I am walking away from being blissfully unsatisfied. The insight I have into my journey is so heightened because of Jay and Ed. These 2 humans are definitely in my proximity and a huge part of my life recipe. Never stop ❤
That’s amazing!!! I would say me too! We have to be so happy doing what just makes us happy and living for that! Things happen when we do that! I’m figuring it out too!
No seriously!!!! I’m over here curling my hair and crying. I’m crying because his words are so inspiring and beautiful

Can you help me with a good piece of advice ?
Wow! I can't believe that I've been sabotaging myself with not celebrating my wins ... I've always been careful and even tempered thinking that if I enjoy myself too much I won't have the drive to continue to achieve more. Thanks Ed and Jay!
Thought the exact same thing about myself
I loved this conversation!! I related with growing up in an alcoholic environment. I’ve been able to shift the negative for the positive while accepting the reality.❤
Privilege of seeing Ed, room of 100 people, completely unfiltered 8 years ago🤯💪Thank you Ed, amazing night👊🔥
Jay!!! You ask the best questions!!!
Great episode! Two super authentic bad asses just laying the wisdom down.
Just what I needed. Thank You so much
THANK YOU JAY for bringing up “dreaming again”. I was successful and very content for 38 yrs of owning performing arts studios, living my passion. I’m now 65, health issues forced me to give up my love and passion and I’m full time caregiver for my 89 yr old mom, living in childhood home. Divorced, broken, depressed, broke financially, anxiety/severe health conditions. BUT the burning desire to work with children and be USEFUL again. NO ONE ever discusses this in any self help type show/book/podcast. Help! Anyone?? Or do I accept it…be grateful and lay down? Thanks in advance!
As long as you are BREATHING, there is time for you to live your hearts desire! 💕
You are never too old or late for your purpose. As long that desire/dream still lives in you, you must answer your calling
Gratitude 🌎
Yes. Manage their proximity. So good
Vous êtes toujours intéressants à écouter!
This is GOLD❤
This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.
What an amazing video- thanks so much guys ❤❤❤
Wow. Powerful stuff
Wow‼️
What a powerhouse interview that was between two inspiring people. Amazing.
pls lyrics
People matter; things don't!
We need a round two of this podcast. This was phenomenal
Agree
I agree 👍
That was an awesome interview. I have to say, if you never met Ed before and just looked at him physically without him uttering a word, I wouldn't want to be alone in a dark ally with him. Sorry Ed, but you look like a really tough dude who can scrap pretty well. However, underneath that strong masculine jawline is a humble, introspective, loving teddy bear of a guy who oozes warmth, sincerity, generosity, and wisdom. I really enjoy listening to him and consider him a virtual mentor to me. I hope one day I can meet him in person, shake his hand, and thank him for being a role module for what masculinity should be.
This podcast was literally right on time for me! Thank you 🙏🏽
So powerful... Thank you so much for sharing! My key takeaway....."Things happen for you, not to you!"
Ed is brilliant spirit. Thanks, Jay, for your contribution to our lives!

Enjoy the small achievement and make sure you celebrate them and be grateful...I agree 🌎 I became a writer at age 61 in Bogotá, Colombia. It has been my way to overcome my reality as immigrant. It is my way to protest elegantly and reach the World 🌍 The Venezuelan immigrant writer 🇻🇪

I love theses two man!! they are great, but i would be more carefull with the morning affirmattion about his daughter`s wedding. Words are extremealy powerful, i mean what will happened after his daughter wedding.. will you be ready to died? do not get me wrong it is awonderful anchor. Point that i am trying to make we should create affirmations that helps us to stay longer than an specific event. It just a thought ...we must be very carefully about what say, demand and claim into our life.

🙌🏽❤💯ED -❤️ JAY💯❤️🙌🏽
Thank you thank you. This is speaking to my core.
Thank you Jay and Ed for this great interview! The last 13 months for me have been really hard financially and emotionally and physically. I've been binge-watching a lot of podcast for inspiration and positivity to develop my growth and thinking. This particular interview was definitely one of the better ones. Around the 44-minute mark you (Jay) speak to Ed regarding being in a tough financial situation which is very similar to what I'm going through. I needed that motivation. Thank you too for all that you guys do in giving back.
