Sorry for the delay Ed. I only really listen to your guests so when I see on LI that you have a new show I time in. For me when Jay said "The scale at which you succeed depends on the depth of the problem you solve". I hope that's exactly what he said. I’ve watched many interviews in my life but this would happen to be the best one ever. I only found this video because I’m reading the book Think Like A Monk. I’m from Australia and sorry but hadn’t heard of Ed Mylett before but after this WOW. I’ve watched this video 4 times this week. It moves me, inspires me and grabs my soul. Thank you Ed and Jay. 🙏🕉🧎♂️♾

37:18, What moves people to like me. Is my demeanor, how I approach all situations. How I handle all situations. How I get lost and able to have fun with whatever I do. What they discover is that I'm having the time of my life doing something that to them isn't at all fun. Then when I create, this really blows their mind away. Finding a new way to do something that they've done one way since they learned how to do it. Without words, this is type of behavior is very motivating to others. It show them they can perform in a much higher level.
Maybe it’s a shame, but I’ve never heard of this genius. And I never bought a book after any interviews in the past. (Including Ed’s book... sorry bro). But I am buying this book. RIGHT NOW. Idk why - but I think the timing is perfect for me. My summer didn’t feel as accomplished as I planned (at all)... so this is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you Ed 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Excellent video! We are both in our 80's and are all about healthy aging. We still strive for a purposeful life, healthy body, a calm mind, and a positive outlook. And we feel better than ever! *We try to inspire others.* We are doing research for our new tiny UA-cam channel and learned a lot here. Thank you and keep it going!
Exactly what everyone needs to hear! "Most people act without thinking, and thinks without acting". This one has definitely touched a button in me. Sometimes we get so overwhelmed with work or projects thinking that we have to do them, also maybe we think we have to stay busy to feel that we are doing something with our lives. But are we ACTUALLY enjoying it? Is it ACTUALLY fulfilling us and bringing us joy where we WANT to wake up in the morning and do it? I really needed to hear that, thanks Ed! Jay is such an inspiring human being!
First of all I don't know how anyone can give this video a thumbs down. I think the whole world follows this man. This interview was a complete knock out. So many nuggets to think about. Thank you Ed for bringing the best!

The 8 new experiences in a month to reflect on the people, places and projects was gold! Such an incredible interview with 2 heart centred do it first leaders.
this is what I really needed- I was following Jay before Covid hit and registered for pre-release of the book and then CoVID hit and i have been locked alone in an apartment for 5 months. the last 5 months have changed my entire perspective of life. Start by reading his book and most likely call it a day for some real stuff...
I love you Ed, because you don’t care about the money or the following you have giving out free content, I used to feel that way about Jay specially in the beginning, because he was a monk... but that has changed because he charges for everything he does (expensive) and he cares a lot about how many followers and likes he has, I have nothing against but it really shows how people can change by social media.
Ed I wanna Cry because the not taking I took from this is like Am out of the matrix after this talk, wow. Am out of words, am energised to continue the big purpose of life which is serving. Wow!

So much life's wisdom coupled with common sense exists in the mind of Jay Shetty. I am always so deeply moved and understand things unlike ever before every time I listen to him speak. Next book to buy is Think Like a Monk
Ed is so humble 🙏🤗❤️ he has done so much, shared so much, inspired so many, and yet he’ll say -straight up -I’ve never thought of that before, I’ve never heard that before
I love how Jay gets across the morning routine and connects it to being a warrior and putting your armour on. It hit me that I do this in the morning because it makes me feel good, but now I know it's about self to then give.🦋💙🦋💙🦋
Not unlike Earl Nightingale, Napoleon Hill, and James Allen, Jay seems to have an all-encompassing grasp of awareness and understanding of The Great Truths of the world
What a great interview. I've read hundreds of self help books. Shetty has insights and information that provide a better perspective on self-awareness than hundreds of self-books I've read..I was surprised and delighted by the Jay Shetty insights and wisdom. Also, Ed Mylett, you are a great interviewer. I appreciate you insightful questions. I've ordered Shetty's book now and can't wait to read it.

@@EdMylettShow I would love if you would go back and catch up with a few of your past interviewees to see how they have changed/evolved since your last interview. Cesar Milan comes to mind, Dierks Bentley and Phil Mickelson are others. Another suggestion would be Olympian Steffen Peters. He's had a fascinating career and very inspiring in how open and honest he's been with his struggle and his comeback. Wow... I been served! I never knew I had a ego problem. I thought ego were ppl full of them self but never knew putting yourself down was a ego problem. Interesting!
I was listening to this and thinking about how many times I'm moved listening to this, with chills and a few aha moments. As I was thinking about how often this happens when I am listening to Ed, I thought about Wayne Dyer and how he was someone that often moved me in a similar way and no joke, Ed says he passed him jogging on the beach in Hawaii. Talk about synchronicity
OK call this guy an influencer is a disservice because he is so much more There’s so much genuine desire to serve and help and to inspire. God knows we need more of that in this world
I want to thank you for what you do on here. You are such an impressive person yourself, yet you bring on all these amazing guests, and you are so humble and gracious. I am so thankful I found your podcast.
Was a an amazing video. Had heard about Jay earlier, but got to know him better today. My biggest takeaway for Living like a monk: find a balance by spending, Part-1: half of your life improving yourself and making yourself more capable to serve and Part-2: other half doing the service (your 'dharma')
My mind is spinning. It' feels like the universe finally put this in my path now that I'm open and ready for it. I'm grateful for both of your truths. I can't tell how much I needed to discover this. Thank you 🙏🏻
Ego- wow I write and have the gift of writing but on the other hand I have a weakness in grammatical order and I shared with my friends that I don't feel less than a person because of the gap in my gramma since my friends fill in my weaknesses and I benefit from their strength, not realizing all along that that was keeping my ego in right perspective. Wow thanks guys! Truly enjoying the revelation!
Ed! That was fantastic and so enlightening. I had heard of Jay Shetty and wanted to check him out. Then I was in a challenge with Nick Santanastasso and he HIGHLY recommended you. Imagine my joy when I jump on and find that the first podcast on deck is with Jay Shetty! I will now follow both of you for more of this goodness! Thanks for what you do and I look forward to being on your podcast or sharing a stage with you one day!
Ed and Jay, thank you both for informing and sharing what you both have experienced.....you have added value to my life today....I appreciate you both....
Dear Ed - I am listening as well as watching you for first time. Some self help video on youtube mentioned you and the third point was - Control time and do not let time control you. I reacted too much earlier but after some meditation and kundali jagran practice I am at least crawling instead of lying motionless. I have subscribed your channel. Thanks you explain a very practical manner. Your deep low voice is a magic. Thanks
So I say this in the spirit of wishing, praying that you both will continue to just be to just do be who you are and serve and be unconcerned with who says what about it
Can't wait to dive deep into his book. Have my life turned upside down (personaly/professionally) due to past circumstances and recently the pandemic and this book hopefully will be of great help understanding myself better and overcome challenges. Grateful to see two great ledears coming together in the help of others.

He's an equestrian that came out last year about handling his struggle with depression and some of his management tips. He's had a fascinating career and very inspiring in how open and honest he's been with his struggle and his comeback. Your content is go good, and every time I watch a new video, it's amazing how it's the message I needed to hear at just that right time...so it's really hard to come up with suggestions! #maxout
WOW Thank you Ed
This was one of the most powerful videos i've seen in a while
I for the first time in a long time actually took notes so I could look back and get focused on what I need to do with my life.
Ed you are such a blessing in this world.
From the first time I ever heard you speak at a WFG conference in Los Vegas 2018 I have l listen and watched you on UA-cam.
I hope too meet you someday if I get the chance.
Thank you
Curtis Gillespie 🤠
God bless
Here Only For Jay Shetty 👏👏
Ed, I love what a big kid you turn into! It made me smile. You look like you opened the best present ever!
Wisdom overload is how I describe listening to these insightful gentlemen 🙏✌
I am greatly inspired by the wisdom and positive energy of both of you. Thank you for sharing this advice. Terry
If I just serve more, I learn more! Simple epic insight! I love this!
You have full control over the preparation, the process, the practice...great interview!!!
You can be everything that you are!! Protect your purpose and your purpose will protect you!! Love the entire podcast! Thank you so much for all that do Ed💪🙏 #Darma
You both light up my life. Thank you for sharing your wisdom to people🙏❤️
OK call this guy an influencer is a disservice because he is so much more
There’s so much genuine desire to serve and help and to inspire. God knows we need more of that in this world
I want to thank you for what you do on here. You are such an impressive person yourself, yet you bring on all these amazing guests, and you are so humble and gracious. I am so thankful I found your podcast.
Jay shetty is really an amazing speaker, really inspiring me....
Ed, watching your reaction as Jay reveals gem after gem is priceless!! Your gratitude and humbleness is beautiful to watch♡
Thanks so much! Happy to hear you enjoyed the video!

Was a an amazing video. Had heard about Jay earlier, but got to know him better today. My biggest takeaway for Living like a monk: find a balance by spending, Part-1: half of your life improving yourself and making yourself more capable to serve and Part-2: other half doing the service (your 'dharma')
Ed !!!
....
In your interviews you're BREAKING CODES !!!
.... Codes we never knew existed !!!
I feel so happy 🤩🤩 both of you together are the perfect cocktail of knowledge and my favorite mentors
The best moments in your life are probably the humble ones. Love it.
Just wow! Im thankful for both of you
Wow, thank you so much! That is incredibly kind of you. Give me a few topics you'd like me to cover in next weeks video!
Thanks

Ed is the Greatest.
This is the first Jay sheets interview that is really insightful compare to all other interviews
Incredibly happy to hear you enjoyed the video ! Truly appreciate the love and support. What was 1 suggestion in this video that you think you'll incorporate into your day to day?
@@EdMylettShow It was a great idea to have him as a guest. How to believe in myself more and find ways to serve others better through my passion.
