- Not gonna wait for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo to get the 2nd update, got something else to do (and maybe finish Final Fantasy 16 in a nutshell before Rebirth comes out). Anyway, enjoy Clive playing this demo and getting roasted by all of his piers

This kind of video from feels new and refreshing, I honestly love the idea of it, having FF and KH universes having friendly conversations is very entertaining imo
It would be interesting if Square Enix got their VAs to become a Vtuber Generation style group that makes Let’s Play style videos to promote their releases. Like, not just FF/KH but say 2B and 9S from Nier or any of the Dragon Quest Heroes hanging out together.

Perhaps same for Ray Chase, Noctis' voice actor. Someone did an abridged series for FFXV and in the final episode, he voiced Noctis. Really awesome of him to do that, you'd think such a thing might be beneath a professional voice actor, lol.

There’s something very charming about Clive being able to find character action game tech in the FF7R demo because, his game essentially has that level of exploits built in to the design. Honestly, SE needs to have a Vtuber generation of their characters just putting out Let’s Plays to promote their tiles.

I mean, Sora got to with Master Xehanort before he went with Eraqus to Kingdom Hearts for the final time, but it was more of a concession of defeat than a change of heart, but then again, you never know what Quadratum has in store for Sora. He might just find Young Xeahnort in the park playing chess or something.

Sephiroth, as the Remake is suggesting, is being controlled by Jenova, which was a long held fan theory.
I really hope the game isn't giving me hope because while I don't necessarily care if Sephiroth gets redeemed or remains a villain, I would love if Jenova got more attention as an antagonist and was made a bigger threat. Was always kind of disappointed for me that an ancient, Thing-like alien that was able to almost wipe out an ancient civilization of mako users was relegated as a side villain controlled by Seph in the OG instead of the other way around

@@voistar5387 Actually a lot of stuff about Sephiroth was lost in translation in the original and the Remake, this quote sums it up: “Back when he was a normal person, Sephiroth used the pronoun "ore" to refer to himself, but after he learned his origins and went psychotic he switched over to "watashi". The remake retains this, which creates an important moment that got lost in the English dub: at the very end of the game, when Sephiroth tries to convince Cloud to help him defy destiny, he uses "ore" as if he were sane again, which visibly shocks Cloud.”

All these years I have interpreted the seven from the point of view that everything is tied to Sefa because it is his top will, that he was the one who subdued his mother - and much can be explained from this point of view, and she is generally considered canonical. But his miserable transformation and madness just much better explains the opposite: that Jenova had a huge impact on him then. And then he, lying in the Crater, sweeled it under himself - but the cause of his madness and the main driver of his motivation was Jenova.
And this new Sef is completely different. He's no longer tempered, he's free from Genova. Iris said that after defeating the Vispers, freedom awaits them, but it concerns not only them: it is Sefu who needs it first of all. Iris said that if they defeated the Vispers, they would change themselves, but not only: Sef had also changed. According to the canon, he was inextricably linked with Jenova, who wanted the death of the planet - inevitable, apparently. And now this future has ceased to exist - not without his participation.
The last thing I want to note here: Sef, who appeared in Cloud's glitches and trolled him the whole game and this Sef from the final scene is not the same. The glitch sef is watashi, not ore. What to do with two Know-it-all Sefs who both want a living Cloud and a living planet, I don't know)”

To the switch as well, there was this UA-camr that got taken down that for a while before pandemic, was talking about what changes the Switch could make to run games better as it has self imposed limitations that look like hardware limitations.
I don't know the vocabulary but he was showing that a simple change to a card or chip that is an important part of the Switch makes even bugged release Pokemon Scarlet and Violet run smoothly, the issue is that of you remove that limitation it can overheat but it can be expanded to the limit without serious issues which would improve a lot how the switch handle games allowing for more complex ports.
The reason he got the legal department of Nintendo is because in his videos he showed how he altered the switch and ran ROMs from other games like Shadow of Mordor, FF-Type 0 (remaster from PS4) and more and he got a cease or desist if not something like getting sued or the likes so he deleted all his content.
Basically speaking the Switch hardware can support and do more if the limitations it has are taken to the limit or suppressed (at the risk of harming the system) but is possible so I really hope the next Switch does indeed do what that guy said and improve because the fact that we can run PS4 games with almost no issues is such a big letdown. Like I get that Nintendo wants to make a product that lasts but if they raise the specs and update the hardware the good way, the Switch could be port heaven!

No one will remember for a while, but Tetsuya Nomura is currently busy with projects related to Final Fantasy 7, so he can barely talk about Kingdom Hearts 4.
It may be at least 2027 before we see a new trailer or release date for Kingdom Hearts 4.

Neither do I. But seeing all the reviews from Rebirth being great and in the 8-9 category I’m sure Nomura helped cook that up. If he can get those chefs to help with KH4 then by all means keep cooking. Just give us a sneak peek at anything. Even a still image of Quadratum will keep me cool for a bit.
Also, KH4 has been worked on since 2020 given Nomura’s comments about Quadratum going to be explorable in Remind but decided to hold off on it. So, it’s actively being worked on. If nothing new for Missing Link or KH4 comes by Summer Games Fest then that’s the time to be worried.

There is no official confirmation as to whether it will appear in Part 4, but I would be very happy if Marvel and Star Wars appear in Kingdom Hearts, given the location presumed to be the planet Endo shown during the trailer and the Japanese voice actor for Captain America shown at the end of the trailer.

7:08 I have to say it is pretty clever how they made unskippable credits in a non-invasive way. I'm surprised corporate was okay with it considering Japanese companies hate it when employees get too popular. Yoshida is still there but they kind of need him because he saved them by fixing FFXIV.

Destroying Jenova or J-cells makes no difference for Cloud or Sephiroth at all, their J-cells are fused with their own cells forever and will exist for as long as they both are alive, it makes no difference if Jenova exists or not. Cloud's delusions are a combination of Jenova's influence and his own extreme trauma brought on by Zack's death, so he will need more than getting rid of a small part of Jenova to recover his memory.
