Sephiroth holding back is like his entire schtick. He couldn't go all out in FFVII cause he was holding back Holy. He couldn't go all out against Cloud after that cause he had lost his body and was weaker. He refused to go all out in Advent Children because he wanted Cloud to suffer.

@@Chris-gj6je From what I've read, the novel effectively covers stuff that would have lead to a 'True' ending (where, yes, Noctis does not die a virgin and actually has kids).
...Which would have been actual paid DLC, of course, which is incredibly scummy, but still.
Sephiroth holding back is like his entire schtick. He couldn't go all out in FFVII cause he was holding back Holy. He couldn't go all out against Cloud after that cause he had lost his body and was weaker. He refused to go all out in Advent Children because he wanted Cloud to suffer.

Well it's kinda difficult to kill someone you need to keep you in existence😒. That is why sephiroth never goes all out on cloud cause if he kills cloud then he really will be just a memory! Technically it does makes sense as to why he's always holding back on cloud.

@@nathanevans1382 Thats only if you insist on octaslash recoveries. If you jsut use the regular recovery, that counter gimp aint doing anything. Any experienced Sephiroth knows not to spam octaslash recoveries to catch them slipping at the right time.
@@shihoblade You can still counter Sephiroth's regular recovery, plus, Sephiroth's range makes it easy for Sora to counter a lot of his attacks. Not that it really matters, at the end of the day, it comes down to the skill of the player, not the character they're using.

@@treygavino Oh ok but the reason Sora probably didn't mention Lingering Will was after KH3 Terra got his body back thx to Sora. Meaning Lingering Will went back to Terra as normal armor. Since Terra got his heart and body back his mind returned as well. The DLC only shows when Terranort and Lingering Will were fighting.
