I have to admit that I was watching this video with a little bit of anxiety, but I am happy to say that I have almost all the records on your top 20 psych/prog list 😅 I knew that July must be in first place, that is just so awesome. I needed a car. My girl back then left me for another guy. We just had our child and she got the car and my work being a 40min drive I needed one 😀 I did a video on the entire story but that is it in a nutshell. So in a way I think getting it the second time in even better condition is just karma…. 😄
What is your definition of a grail record? I don't think there is a standardised definition. So it's all very subjective... I'm sure there are a few nice finds for you personally, I agree.
A grail for me is something that is really hard to get. Not something you just buy easily on Discogs. I think this is a broad explanation and it’s my own opinion. But I could spend an entire evening talking about the term. 😀

An edition of 500 of an unknown record/artist doesn't mean automatically grail for me. I'm normally not interested. 🤷♂️ An UK OG of DSOTM is a grail for me. But on the other hand it isn't, because you can get it easyly if you spent 5000€...🧐
your 2023 finds are impressive... your video has never lived up to its name so well... sublime records... I'm also a bit of a collector of prog and psych rock and I'm always impressed by people who find such gems ..especially since among the discs presented I only knew 3 or 4...shame on me...does your site only offer reissues for purchase or also second-hand ones? Anyway, congratulations for your video!

Ironically I would argue with you Jonas on your ranking system lol but hey, they’re your records, but for you, July will always be the winner 🏆 there is no debate on that. My personal top find for 2023 was the incredibly rare soul album from Chicago The Lovelites, bought it for $1, worth over $400, but its always the music that is the most important thing because if I don’t like the music it would be sold immediately, I wonder what 2024 will bring? I’m still old fashioned and enjoy crate digging in the wild and never buy on eBay, so my best records have always been found with my own two hands buried in a box or crate, more fun that way
