  • Kim Jung Gi would be 50 today. Larger than life, bigger than words, higher than dreams. We were lucky to meet him and witness his kindness, wisdom, and talent. His legacy will always live on.

I got to share a taxi ride with him from the airport to the THU event by sheer coincidence. He was so kind, asked about my work and gave me compliments on it, even without translator we had no problem communicating. I feel so lucky I got to experience this and I will never forget it!

When he still alive he inspired thoundsand of people to dream and chase after art, including me. The day he died also mark the rise of AI generated imagse. Kim Jung Gi is the start and the end of an era of art

A paragon. On one-hand I count Kim Jung Gi among our most-terrible losses of last few.
