Interesting product for sure. Years ago I would cycle home as the sun was setting, but needed some eye protection from bugs (rode through a mangrovey kind of area). Something like this would have been great. Implementation seems pretty good, but I still would not buy until they had:
    - NO app connection whatsoever for the lite version (don't want it, don't want to pay for it)
    - Separate buttons for darker/lighter (if I'm going to use driving, I don't want to have to think)
    - Non-propriety charging option
    - A better look (just a nicer plastic finish as you mentioned would probably do it)

Can you explain how to change the nose pads on the dusk lite pair please?
    Thanks Dane

One minute in i knew you were sponsored because you sounded like you were reading from a script. The video was well informative and not biased. i was disappointed within the 30 mins you didnt try on the glasses so i dont know how they look or fit. keep doing your thing though

haha damn, I just saw this. @rockwoodz25 - are you doing okay my friend? Sounds like you had a rough day on the internet when you wrote that comment 😂 Alas, as much as I might wish otherwise, there is a sad dearth of people "on my dick" and/or "catching feelings" for me. I guess the life lesson here being that if one wants be knee-deep in rockstar groupies they may want to choose a different past time than making anonymous 45 minute bag reviews on the internet whilst wearing a gently-used canvas apron.
(Fun fact - when I decided I wanted to make UA-cam videos it was literally between doing bag reviews or - and I'm not lying here - long form dissections of modern monopoly power acted out via puppets. I went with the bag reviews because I literally have no training as a puppeteer and it turns out (once I actually tried) making a puppet is a lot harder than it looks. Who knows - maybe if I had gone with the puppets I might have more people catching feelings for me and up "on my dick". You know what they say - groupies do be loving an educated puppet, plus economists in general are both a lonely and randy bunch so probably even better chances with that kind of audience)
Anyway, I uhh, hope you're having a better day now?

I LOLd a bit at your comment - I very much guarantee you that I wasn't reading from a script but was genuinely bemused by the fact that this company sells both app-controlled eletrochromic sunglasses *and* a water-powered lightup shower speaker that connects to your plumbing. Like... I can't imagine there's a very high degree of overlap in target audience between those two products (or tbh, I can't imagine there's a very big audience for a water-powered light up shower speaker, let alone enough of one to warrant like 6 different models but maybe I've just been doing showers wrong my whole life - if you look at how the people on video for the shower heads are just *absolutely jamming out* in the shower, it does seem that perhaps that might be the case)
Anyway, point being, I promise you no company on earth would write ad copy like that (other than maybe the infamous Conan OBrien Luxe Bidet ad read - I actually saw they won an advertisement of the year award for that ad even though I'm pretty sure that was 100% all Conan...) Anyway,, beyond that I think think I was pretty upfront with the rest of the relationship - glasses provided for review, no money exchanged hands, I don't receive any money if you use the discount link or not (and normal non-discount link also provided alongside it) and they didn't get to see the video before it went live.
Regarding not showing my face or try it on - yeah, I know, sorry. I actually debated if I was even going to do a review of these glasses since I wasn't sure if there really was a point to do a sun glass review without showing them on face, which I knew I wouldn't do. (For reference, even though many people ask, I don't usually shown the backpacks being worn on body etc. during my bag reviews either.). In the end since there wasn't a lot of reviews on this product out there I decided to do the review anyway, figuring that spending time focusing on the product as an object talking through and about it might still be valuable to some people, even if I don't shown them being worn (and also, real talk - sunglasses are so notoriously dependent on face shape and style that it's hard to say if something that looks good or not on someone else will work for any given viewer).
Anyway, I hope this review might have been of some use to you, even though I wasn't able to show them on face!

3 replacements in a year!!? oh my goodness - sorry to hear that.
Did they ever figure out what the issue was? Were you charging with the case or the cable (or both)?
