The Bellroy Transit Workpack Pro 22L is a small work-oriented "pro" version of the well-received original Transit Workpack EDC bag featuring a robust load carriage system, updated pocketing and organization and what is possibly the single worst side pocket of 2024.

Some of the strengths of the Workpack Pro 22L include:
* New types of organization/pocketing - big deep front dump pocket enables stashing of new and different kinds of loadouts (shells etc)
* Couple of new front organizer pockets - one of which is kind of admin like
* A few affordances that theoretically makes it better for carrying stuff on short trip: a better luggage passthrough, internal luggage straps, an additional front compartment, etc.
* More robust load carriage system enables more comfortable carry of heavier load outs than the original
Conversely, some of its opportunities for improvement include:
* Gets rid of or replaces with inferior updates a lot of useful organization such as the front panel external zipper pocket and the extremely convenient top-mounted quick access pocket.
* The excellent dual water bottle pockets of the previous version have been reduced to one with the other one reaplced with what is possibly the single worst pocket I've had the displeasure of touching in 2024. (this side key pocket is an absolute disaster, at least on my bag, and represents either a failure of QC, design or both)
* Internal mesh magazine/tablet pocket replaced with luggage straps which makes less sense in a 22L bag
* Strap and back padding (and a few other areas) are a bit thick/out of proportion for the 22L size - though can be comfortable under heavier loads
