Houses in Japan built around 20 years ago up to the present day tend to prioritize modern convenience over traditional Japanese features like tatami rooms or typical Japanese structures. These homes often have simple designs, are earthquake-resistant, and are built with cost efficiency in mind.
However, houses that are around 30 years old still tend to emphasize traditional Japanese characteristics!
