At Sakura Sketch Japan, we offer cultural experiences for visitors to Japan, hosted in the comfort of my home. The activities include creating manga-style illustrations using professional tools like G-pens, tasting Japanese tea and popular Japanese drinks (including alcoholic ones), and enjoying takoyaki parties with the guests. These are unique experiences designed to provide a taste of Japanese culture.

Recently, I’ve been focusing on replication for practice, so it’s been a while since I’ve drawn an original illustration. I used tools that manga artists typically use, like G-pens, Maru pens, and screentones, to carefully finish this piece ☺️.

Oh, this is beautiful! The hair must have been so tedious to draw. The line work looks good enough on it's own, but once you added the colors and and shading, it was just so vibrant and gorgeous, even the way you put the little shine in her eyes. Seeing amazing art like this is so inspiring, and it shows me how much I need to improve. You said you don't consider yourself a professional illustrator, but you're certainly better than I am, and your work looks very professional to me.
I'm a big fan of your videos! This inspired me to keep it up. ^^

Screentones are available at almost any art supply store in Japan! As for me, since I’m on a budget, I buy them on flea market apps!
