In this video is show you how to properly torque and install the cylinder head and cylinder head gasket on a 1100cc Kawasaki Triple 2-stroke engine. This procedure is the same for all 1100 triples on the STX and ZXI Jet Skis. Make sure to use OEM gaskets. I provide torque specs and part numbers in this video and show you how to install and torque spark plugs as well.

Why would anyone argue about putting anti seize on the plugs? Guess they have never had the stress of trying to take out a plug that was seized up huh! Thanks for posting JD! Love that ski you have and the cool work you've done to bring it back to life!

Hahaha oh you wouldn’t believe the comments I delete each day…well you see NGK released a memo not to use anti seize because the plugs are chrome plated and it’s not necessary. That memo is in an automotive context..also some claim that the antiseize changes the torque value of the plug..which is true, but assuming you use a torque wrench and use common sense, you will be fine

Right on!. Soon after buying a new ski I pull the plugs and put anti seize and dielectric grease on the boots!

I learned the hard way about SBT made in china junk. Bought a Solas impeller for the 2004 STX-12F I had and no wonder it was so cheap. Know I say this all the time but I regret selling it. Because once I got that thing dialed in, man it was a blast!

lol the aftermarket gaskets are really crappy..I get people don’t want to spend the money for the oem stuff but oem is quality made to last typically
