As a non Man U fan, when I see the same situation, I feel no reason to keep Rashford. If you feel his potential and his prime years are yet to come, keeping him isn't a problem like Madrid kept Vini although he wasn't performing. But, in this scenario, it's too long and I can't see something from Rashford on which I can say,"He got something, keep him."
True I feel like the spark left his eye after the 19/20 season when he was balling out with Martial and Greenwood. I still think that 30 goal season is overrated and he was a better overall player in 19/20.
The reason the off field talks about Rashford happens is because the guy on field looks miserable and lazy. So when you are trying to find reasons why he is like this, the natural thing to do is take his off field antics into account.
It's all about money. When you are paid Salah or KDB or Kane wages, you will be judged by those standards. Now if he was paid half of that then i think people would be more lineant with him.
This isn't even a question. His time was up after his last form period. He's a pace player, at 27 he's only going downhill. He doesn't have the close control Salah adapted.
Lyes. Another good video. But let's be honest, that 30 goal season was the peak to sell Rashy. He should have been gone ages ago. I am sorry but he has not lived up to the expectations on him. That is not to kick him but icl, he just hasn't come good.
Nobody sells arguably their best player after they’ve just had their best season. In hindsight it’s easy to say that. But nobody in their right mind would’ve said that back then. I’m sure most people knew it wouldn’t be sustained because he’s always been an inconsistent player but nobody knew he would fall off this painfully hard, couldn’t even crack 10 g/a in the prem last year on 325k a week 😂😂😂.
world class salary.. world class performance once in a blue moon... he's not the player who makes significance improvement to team..... Martial outplayed him any given day and now he's gone but Rashford stayed...
what do you mean with the " he gave us so much in those years he's been here" ? he gave us one 30g/a season and the other good season was when he and Martial actually was good so basicaly from what near 10 years in the first team he gave us 2 good season and that's the reason you gonna keep him .. that's why we can't move forward as a club
Ruben relies on the system and every one playing for the team. Unless they can adapt Rashford, Garnacho, Dalot and Bruno - all of whom I like - need to be moved on.
there is no right way to be a fan. having no attachment to any player doesn't make anyone a better fan than anyone else. of course, if you prioritize Rashford's interests over the club's, you're not a United fan, you're just a Rashford fan. i'm not saying Rashford is untouchable or even that he shouldn't be sold this summer. but Rashford represents lots of things to lots of people. to some like me, young Black United fans from Greater Manchester, he's someone that looks like me who came from nothing and achieved all of his dreams at his boyhood club and then used his influence to give everything back to his community. to others, he's a testament to United's long history of producing great academy players. to others, he's someone that unfortunately broke through at United right in their worst ever period and still has scored 138 goals for this club-- 6 goals away from the top 10 highest goalscorers in the club's history. not just anyone is able to do that. not to mention has received dog's abuse despite all of this, much more than many others who have done close to nothing for this club. and yes to many others, maybe he's nothing but an overpaid, overrated guy who doesn't care about the club. but football and being a football fan, to me, isn't about just supporting a club for trophies and accolades, it is about stories and feeling and emotion and connection, and some United fans have a strong connection with Rashford. many, like me, watched him come through when we were really young, he brought joy with how he played, watched him set the world alight, & thought he was going to be one of the very best in the world and maybe he still can be. many also despise him. all of these things are true but i find it weird when people just dismiss these things and is disgusted at how anyone be attached to any of these players. INEOS shouldn't make this decision based on fan sentiment, of course. it's their job to decide what they think is best for the club and the team and the future, and i hope they do that, no matter what it means for Rashford. for Rashford's own sake, i think he should probably go this summer and play outside of England. playing in Italy or France will give him a fresh start, a clean slate, and a lot less media scrutiny from ex players etc etc. look at how Gallagher got welcomed to Atleti or McTominay to Napoli. Rashford will be a superstar haha but fans have the right to feel connected with whoever they feel connected to and that is a part of football too.
*We all love him* omg plz speak for yourself I Love him should be more accurate I don’t like Rashford dislike honestly will he has potential and can score banger goals especially against Liverpool.
If u have a replacement in mind that can do what Rashford did 2 seasons ago consistently than good if not and u one Garnacho to start week in and out with no other option on the market than no
I agree sell him but it's impossible. He's got a contract here on like £300k a week until 2028... Bruno needs to go as well and we need some diginity restoring to our captaincy. High standards need setting once again at the club and these man aint it.
Rashford is cut from the same cloth as his mate Lingard. He had one good season, got paid an obscene amount of money and thought he was a superstar, allowing himself to be consumed by his own ego. He’s too busy in the clubs on a weekend pretending to be a gangster rapper. The guy is finished.
He's depressed, I think it came from the abuse of last season. Those tears after the fa cup final were not for nothing. He doesn't even greet fans anymore. He needs a new environment
Besides you don’t need to worry about redemption As rashford will have Rooney esque decline and will be washed at 30 As long we get 40-50 mill and his wages are removed It’s a good deal
All those mangers and he’s still hasn’t picked up anything from either one of em like if he was in form with MOURINHO tht form is still there but he’s utterly shite regressed as a player.
No one is gonna pay 60mil for Rashford on his wages. I do see potential suitors negotiating to pay 30 - 40 mil and using the excess we think he is worth to pay his wages. And we shall have to accept or get stuck with him. To be honest, I would take 40 mil just to end the circus.
Rashford has had 1 good year in his last 4 seasons who pays 60 million for rashford ? PSG have barcola on the left who is a much better player. What club would offer over 40 mil for him ?
60m? You're joking right? With his wages, you'll be lucky to get a club to 35m for him. Moreover, who is going to want to buy him for 60m? I can't think of any club who would want to take this guy for 60m. He's 27 and demotivated. Your best hope is to loan him out and pay half his wages, and hope he does well enough for you to sell for 50m in a year's time.
I think United have atleast 10 other players that have to be sold before even considering selling Rashford. Rashford is literally the last priority. So much deadwood at your club. Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, Shaw, Malacia, Casemiro, Eriksen, Mount, Antony, Hojlund and you focus on Rashford out of these lot?
It's not rashford's fault that they pay him so much, that they have kept him for so long, that they allow mediocre player to be the main attacker in their club. It's the club itself. United is extremely poor in managing players. They still believe in producing legends like in the past but in reality it's way past that. The legend thing is over. They need to move over that and start prioritizing what's best for the team. Stop praising mediocrity. Stop building up hype on Garnacho rashford. Any decent club would have them benched or kicked out.
Rashford relied so much on his pace especially from counters over the years, he has no football IQ, he cant play possession and forget about crossing, he also lost a yard of pace, so yeah United should sell him 100% he doesnt provide anything to this team and system under Amorim
You forgot to mention how that back injury changed everything - after that surgery, his work rate drastically reduced. The club and Ole failed him. The hate these fans pour to him obviously would make him disassociate from this shit team. He should have left this summer
Its an easy answer and it is yes. How he earns more than Salah is beyond me. And no team will be buying him. He is bang average. He is mid table player at best. He has low football IQ. This is his sealing.
The excuses made for rashford are ridiculous!!! He’s had too many different managers??? How many managers did Cristiano by time he was age 27? How managers managers has Mbappe who is younger have up untim his current age

But, in this scenario, it's too long and I can't see something from Rashford on which I can say,"He got something, keep him."
9:44 he’s been like this for years btw, before his 30 goal season he had the same demeanour
Stay or go shouldn't even be a question at this point. The question should be: Will 20 mills be enough?
world class salary.. world class performance once in a blue moon... he's not the player who makes significance improvement to team..... Martial outplayed him any given day and now he's gone but Rashford stayed...
Cunha, Gibbs White and Kravatshelia will improve Utd's attack Instantly
The only thing consistent about Rashford, is that he’s inconsistent.
He gets paid a King’s ransom and just doesn’t deserve it.
what do you mean with the " he gave us so much in those years he's been here" ? he gave us one 30g/a season and the other good season was when he and Martial actually was good so basicaly from what near 10 years in the first team he gave us 2 good season and that's the reason you gonna keep him .. that's why we can't move forward as a club
ICL 60m for Rashford seems optimistic to me, especially with his wages.
I wouldnt be against it if the attackers behind him werent worse than him in every aspect
Ruben relies on the system and every one playing for the team. Unless they can adapt Rashford, Garnacho, Dalot and Bruno - all of whom I like - need to be moved on.
Forest fan here. Rashford wouldn't get into our team. Sell him to newcastle.
Players choose were they want to go! club dont choose for them
there is no right way to be a fan. having no attachment to any player doesn't make anyone a better fan than anyone else. of course, if you prioritize Rashford's interests over the club's, you're not a United fan, you're just a Rashford fan. i'm not saying Rashford is untouchable or even that he shouldn't be sold this summer. but Rashford represents lots of things to lots of people. to some like me, young Black United fans from Greater Manchester, he's someone that looks like me who came from nothing and achieved all of his dreams at his boyhood club and then used his influence to give everything back to his community. to others, he's a testament to United's long history of producing great academy players. to others, he's someone that unfortunately broke through at United right in their worst ever period and still has scored 138 goals for this club-- 6 goals away from the top 10 highest goalscorers in the club's history. not just anyone is able to do that. not to mention has received dog's abuse despite all of this, much more than many others who have done close to nothing for this club. and yes to many others, maybe he's nothing but an overpaid, overrated guy who doesn't care about the club. but football and being a football fan, to me, isn't about just supporting a club for trophies and accolades, it is about stories and feeling and emotion and connection, and some United fans have a strong connection with Rashford. many, like me, watched him come through when we were really young, he brought joy with how he played, watched him set the world alight, & thought he was going to be one of the very best in the world and maybe he still can be. many also despise him. all of these things are true but i find it weird when people just dismiss these things and is disgusted at how anyone be attached to any of these players.
Rashford will be a superstar haha
but fans have the right to feel connected with whoever they feel connected to and that is a part of football too.
You won't be able to sell him, just loans until his contract is done
man united screwed themselves giving him that contract extension. it was common sense to hold on
As a Liverpool fan, respectfully I would pay max 30mil for Rashford.
I'd sell we dont have a clear position for him the team and he's the highest earner it's just not logical hope he does well though 👍🏾
great video, diogo dalot
If you people rated him on his real level then there would be no need for all this talk
He’s a decent premier league player like Harvey barnes
My best mate is a united fan he treats rashford like a lot of their fanbase with baby gloves like he recently rose from the academy
Rashfords private life is mentioned often in articles because on the field they've been writing the same thing for years, shite.
*We all love him* omg plz speak for yourself I Love him should be more accurate I don’t like Rashford dislike honestly will he has potential and can score banger goals especially against Liverpool.
@5:00 MO SALAH SHOULDN'T BE MENTIONED IN THE SAME BREATH AS RASHFORD. SALAH IS WORLD CLASS. RASHFORD.... HE'S A FOOTBALLER.
sell... more hype about his off field activity than sparkling on field performances.. selfish, sporadic and lazy...
If u have a replacement in mind that can do what Rashford did 2 seasons ago consistently than good if not and u one Garnacho to start week in and out with no other option on the market than no
Yeah we😂 should keep rashford and wait till he has another purple patch. Maybe after two more yrs he will find his form.
Lookman from Atalanta is way better than Rashford. Even Marmoush from Frankfurt would be good addition
I agree sell him but it's impossible. He's got a contract here on like £300k a week until 2028... Bruno needs to go as well and we need some diginity restoring to our captaincy. High standards need setting once again at the club and these man aint it.
That's £46.8m we have committed to paying Rashford from now until the end of his contract. Haha what the fuck
What utd need right now are consistent players and he is just not that
It's time to let it go. We can do better
Short answer. Yes!
This guy gets it
You say don’t sell rashford to a rival team
But rivals are the only clubs capable of buying him and paying his 320k a week wages (25 mill a yr)
Besides you don’t need to worry about redemption
As rashford will have Rooney esque decline and will be washed at 30
As long we get 40-50 mill and his wages are removed
It’s a good deal
Would Rashford last this long at Real Madrid? They are ruthless. If we want to get back to the top we have to be ready to let go of any player
To be honest, I would take 40 mil just to end the circus.
united shot themselves in the foot handing him that contract. he was clearly being overpaid. united should’ve held out
Rashford has had 1 good year in his last 4 seasons who pays 60 million for rashford ?
That is stupid logic. We can sell them all including rashford
I'd be surprised if someone pays 35 mill for Rashford
Its an easy answer and it is yes. How he earns more than Salah is beyond me. And no team will be buying him. He is bang average. He is mid table player at best. He has low football IQ. This is his sealing.
The excuses made for rashford are ridiculous!!! He’s had too many different managers??? How many managers did Cristiano by time he was age 27?
How managers managers has Mbappe who is younger have up untim his current age
Selling Rashford when garnacho will be his successor 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
if rashford leaves i’m signing out
peace!
You and him will not be missed brother safe journey
100% INEOS will cash in. They will asset strip the club. Turn us into a small, manageable club.
I keeping saying it and I wouldn’t stop till it’s into existence.
Ademola Lookmam to United
Yes saw him play against RM the guy is actually good.
As a rival fan, please keep Rashford 😭😭😭
Watch him go to Arsenal and win them the league
Why would anyone buy rashford? .. that's worse than man united buying Mason mount
The real question is: how has he not been sold already?
Ain't no one paying 60 mil for rash ford the only teams that would do that are chealse or United and I really don't think chealse want rash ford
He still has mores untapped potential
Not Lias leening into becoming a united channel
He’s a United fan after all
🤓
@tinotagwireyi5821lyes supports like 10 clubs depending on which podcast he’s on 😂😂😂
@@Ball_Chat_FChe’s a football fan. just because he isn’t as tribalistic as you don’t make him less of a fan
Gotta sell him and gotta get a LW cuz Garnacho will go through the same level of abuse if not worse?
