Awesome video as always Timmy. Man Oh Man Moab is one epic place it's got some fir everyone. And the views were so spectacular truly a bucket list items.
@Happy Jack Or the limitations of his car + house.... And another situation without tiny house days ago he rode (rode? carried' transported? Sorry my english) several people on a tour of a road (at the festival) and drove very carefully, taking care of them...
Last time I was there, been a minute, you could drive across the bridge. That Jeep you mentioned fell off backwards the week before I went there. They already had the jeep out by then.
I take it. Back in the days , This was the road to get there. Then came the Highways (Modern roads). No wonder cars were tough back in the days, Like tanks.Sure was a drive. Regards
Moab is my second home since I'm from Mars and you've captured it perfectly 😂. Great video. I usually go there twice a year and this year only once. Thanks for sharing your experience of my favorite place.
Look at the jeeps with the tops on.. and not one wave... suckers... Station wagon.. hells ya dude!! Great drone shot!! Driving in Alaska is more offroad then most folks will ever hit the lower 48 Peace Nice stuff Timmy
Ford's rock! that truck was napping up that hill even with that camper on it.they need to make that truck again they would sell them quicker then they could make them.cant wait to see next video!
Timmy's on Mars!! Those rock formations are whoa! You had me so nervous Timmy walking up to those crevasses & what a drop! Beautiful drone shots too! You are loving it, & I'm happy you're able to explore our natural wonders Timmy. Keep em coming 😊.
Now THIS is entertaining! Loved the shot of you crawling up that incline, fully loaded! Admittedly, we drive a truck and camper and do a lot of back roads and crazy trails, too. Enjoy the rest of your holiday! 👍😎🇨🇦⚘💙
We have been down the long canyon trail and it was THE most scariest trail i have ever been on.there is a switch back about half way down that is tiny..your truck would not have been able to maneuver this switch back.we were barely able to do it with the jeep we rented in moab.you would not be here today if you would have gone down that trail.. good thing it was closed!!!
Look into utilizing a “constant throttle brake modulated” approach to wheeling and navigating obstacles at low speeds, the 7.3 has the torque, and if you control the wheel speed with the brakes, while keeping you’ll engine speed around 1500 RPM, you’ll be able to roll over and up and down ledges, rocks, etc. with control … looks fun!
@@TruckHouseLife OK, thanks. I've driven lots of truck campers (hard shell and popups), in lots of challenging conditions, but never experienced an uncontrolled rocking back and forth that it sounds like you're mentioning(?) - or maybe you're talking about oscillating like suspension bridges ( ua-cam.com/video/KVc7oBKzq9U/v-deo.html )? Building a new camper and want to be sure not to "get it" Txs.
Timmy, that's the area where I grew up, and it's so fun to see you marveling at the beauty that I love so much. The best adventure in Moab is the White Rim Trail.
love Moab, if you ever get a chance you can rent a SXS for the day or even just hook up with someone that has an extra seat that you can trust =) and go riding for the day! i live in eagle mountain Utah and rented a 2 seater razor years ago. now I've had 2 different units and love to play in Moab! great video as always!
The truck with the trailer that was getting towed, missed a turn and got stuck turning around, on your way into longs canyon (dirt road)you probably past an oil well pump jack on your left side, down that road there was a drilling rig, drilling for Helium that will eventually be used on a SpaceX 🚀
Not sure if you have them or not, but get yourself some polarized ND filters for your drone. It will help darken up your shots, then you can lower your ISO and framerate, getting you better shots! I just got one and after dealing with several shots that have been ridiculously over exposed, I reluctantly decided to start researching how to get better drone shots. Yours are still good, just figured I'd pass on some of the stuff I'm learning! Now, if you could teach me how to get more subs...now that would be a great lesson hahaha. Cheers buddy.
@@TruckHouseLife that being said, I just lost all of my drone shots for my last two videos. Super bummed buddy. I used my drone a lot more than usual for my last two videos and it just decided to delete ALL of the content for them I found out last night when checking their content. Not sure how I'm going to make videos without that content. :-(
HUMANS are shrinking , Dude ! ... like everyone let you go by , cause , look ! it even has Kayaks on it !! great fun ... lone Mesa , off 313 .. BLM camping ~peace~
Down from 65 to 45 in the rear tires and down to 40psi up front (can't let too much out because of the camper, but that 20-25 lbs drop makes a HUGE difference in ride quality and traction.
DUDE U ARE LIKE A MODERN DAY COWBOY OFTEN GOING THRU SOME EPIC NATURE. LOVE IT. THANKS. 😎🤠
lol

Oh man! You got some righteous pix with that drone. Pleeze ... PLEEZE ... continue this practice! The effect is absolutely astounding!
Working on it! My goal is to have at least a few drone shots in every video.

You really put your truck to the test here. Esp. considering that you already had a few parts breaking on your journey. :)
sure did, wait for the next one this week haha
What parts were breaking?
That is an awesome setup
Thanks yo!
You are so inspiring 👍😁😎
Do it:)
Although you like risk (sports) in driving you are very cautious, I love it. Thank you for share wonderful places.
yup try my best to be safe.

@@Treepole and yet he flies a drone while driving... the footage is incredible but that has to worse than texting while driving
Thanks for the video!! I live in Minnesota and have never heard of that place. Definitely on my bucket list

Me neither. Until I started watching Timmy, I didn't even have Utah on my radar as a place to explore. Great adventures.
Greetings from Alaska!
What up:)
Last time I was there, been a minute, you could drive across the bridge. That Jeep you mentioned fell off backwards the week before I went there. They already had the jeep out by then.
Wow! What an awesome trip to Moab! Crazzay rock cliffs! Luv your utube adventures!

Thanks duder!
Thanks so much for making this video. The drone shots were great. I'm was thinking of taking my 7.3 out there minus the camper.

I actual did Long Canyon in one of my videos if you search for it;)
Great video! I have a 2002 7.3 F250 and I’m amazed how quiet your rig is on the inside of the cab.
yup it's cozy

Yup the camper makes it tricky. You can't hit anything with constant momentum or you get a "death rock" going on the camper.
@@TruckHouseLife is the "death rock" aka "axle wrap"? I have similar problems with my manual transmission in my ram.
@@TruckHouseLife We'd appreciate you sharing more about "death rock" (or showing it)...
@@HarryGreen333 haha, my old toyota camper used to get it real bad, but the truck house doesn't get it.

Dang I miss Moab. Used to go out there for about a month during the spring mud season in Crested Butte 😎
Yeah it's cool out there.
If you get stuck you could call Matt’s Off-road recovery and do a collab 🤘😎
Almost called em, wait for some upcoming episodes, tow truck broke down towing me out lol, 5 ft wheelie and blew out the power steering.

Maybe one day, I hate side by sides though lol, they always tear up the trails up here in Alaska.
@@TruckHouseLife you can hate them in Alaska still but enjoy them in Moab brother!
Absolutely beautiful filming and drone footage.
THanks!
I have an amazing spot with an awesome view you drive to just north of kelowna bc. Let me know! Great drone view spot too.
Nice will do.
Awesome video!! Love the aerial

That place has gotta be so much fun. One day soon hopefully I can get out there!!!
It's pretty rad for sure.
Think the plan is to wake up tomorrow…😊
hehe
Hell ya, this was cool.
right on:)
Nooo dont timmy I love ur truck
ohhhh but I did
Timmy, You were making me nervous!!
That was my goal;)
I’ve driven this road in my 2006 BMW X3 stock. Road is not bad at all
I'm sure it's a lot easier than a driving a 10,000 lb, 26 ft long truck camper setup;)
I drive like you, take some risks occasionally. Got a few samurais too!
nice!
To bad the smoke was shitty, normally from there the view of the la sal’s and the valley is amazing.

Omg one of my first cars was a susuki samurai because I couldn’t afford a jeep! Got my jeep had it 27 years

Have you ever weighed your truck?? See what corner is the heaviest or maybe it’s balanced
8,100 lbs.
