The most beautiful documentary on OUR WILD HORSES that do need to be protected and managed properly! I personally have adopted several great wild horses and a mule! Between owning a breed domesticated horse verses a wild horse I personally would ALWAYS pick a wild horse! Those horses are the most reliable durable horses on earth! They are smart, eat less, loyal IF TRAINED PROPERLY, TRUST AND RESPECT IS THE BIGGEST THING THAT, that everyone must earn from a wild horse or mule! Then they will do anything for you as an owner of a wild horse! Have owned stallions from the wild horses! Great strong HORSES! I'd quit my job today give up everything to protect and work if wild horses!
It's hard to type through tears....Deb and Jamie, you did it! this is exactly what OUR mustangs need. A voice that is listening also. Not just shouting and arguing. But learning and weaving all the branches together.

Wonderful amazing Claire...one woman taking care what should have never happened in the first place.... but then again look what was taken from the American Indian !🖤🐴🖤🐴🖤
Hi there... My name is DEBBIELEE.... I am also from JERSEY and I drive a white jeep wrangler. I wanted to say hello to DEB LEE CARSON ! I have never met someone whose name was that close to mine and is involved with horses !!! This is wonderful...we will spread the word !!!! 🖤🐴🖤🐴🖤🐴🖤🐴🖤🐴🖤
Thank the Lord that people finally realized that the horses/burros and cattle can all live together. It was so sad when the ranchers and others wanted to kill them because they thought they were taking away from the beef industry. They are beautiful and a treasure!! Thanks for all y’all do!! I will be donating to your organization.
This video is amazing! The images of the wild horses with blue eyes are truly impressive and touching. Thanks for sharing this and giving us an insight into their life at Skydog Sanctuary. Definitely worth watching!
This film made me cry! These beautiful animals need you, Deb and Jamie! You are fighting the good war. I believe that "our" land should be better-managed so that all these animals may continue to thrive and be wild. People that adopt mustangs, like Clare Staples, are doing the good work too. Not only in providing mustangs with a life where they are free, but also reuniting horses with their bands. It's beyond heartwarming what you all are doing. Thank you!
Thankyou for saving as many as you can, I live in Australia, and we are losing our Brumbys too as part of land management. Some are being saved and some are falling through the cracks at killing pens. There has been come wonderful stories of saves on both sides. You are so right that we dont need arguing. Whats best for land and all animals who share it, and yes i have shed tears too.
Never mind the naysayers. You are doing what you can to try and make things better for a creature that a lot of us love. Nothing wrong with kindness and compassion. God bless your efforts.
YES!! I love this and got chills watching this episode. Thank you for sharing your story, looking at the big picture, and listening to all sides of the story for the benefit of these magnificent and magical beings.
Wonderful Ladies ,.and gentlemen. I’m happy to hear your love, compassion and understanding . All the INDIGENOUS tried for years RESPECT for ❤MOTHER❤EARTH. IF we take care of our mother she will take care of us! With out water ❤HUMANS will not survive ,and the WILD❤
The truth is, is that soil has taught me that the areas in the west truly do benefit from horses. They enrich areas that had no enrichment. They create new watering holes for themselves and for other wildlife in a desert area that previously had not much wildlife. Wild horses change a landscape slowly to help them and this helps the ecosystem as a whole. Places that had eroding or barren landscapes suddenly were renewed. The soil suddenly had good life underneath for insects to thrive and in turn create the diversity needed to create a natural ecosystem. The worst thing we can do now is to deprive the landscape of wild horses and to build on fragile landscapes. Building harms insects and soil life in turn slowly making a vibrant land dull. If you look into soil science and understand the basics of how simply poop from animals creates a biological boom of life, it’s interesting and amazing. You will fully understand the principles needed to sustain and maintain a healthy and vibrant landscape. Goats and rabbit, deer, predator dung all are vital for a healthy soil base in turn helping plants and in turn giving shelter food and life to everything else. Why have we not started with the fundamentals and instead of asking ourselves are they wild, have they lived here before us. If the answers are telling us that horses help the land by simply surviving on it, that’s all that needs to be said. For those thinking horses are damaging the lands, that’s in Australia. Horses and bison have naturally changed our lands for a thousand years. So why change that dynamic?
Great story, beautifully told. Thanks for telling it and raising awareness. Just because there are no easy answers doesn’t mean there aren’t answers to be found that can benefit all. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
I'M JUST LIKE DEB...CANNOT SEE OR WATCH A WILD HORSE WITHOUT CRYING!! THEY'RE SOOOOO STRONG & MAGNIFICENT & REPRESENT OUR OWN SENSE OF LONGING FOR THAT ULTIMATE FREEDOM!!! WE LIVE IN FERNLEY, NEVADA & SEE THEM NEARLY EVERYTIME WE GO OUT! THEY HAD BEEN...IN OCTOBER ... COMING WALKING THROUGH OUR NEIGHBORHOODS...THEN ONE POOR BABE WAS HIT BY AN SUV ON THE 50 WEST & SO THE RANCHERS ALL GOT TOGETHER AND HERDED THEM OFF ELSEWHERE SO THEY WOULDN'T BE IN DANGER. BOY OHHH BOY DO I MISS THEM.....
I watched this just this morning and I LOOOVE what you have done!!!! This is such a heartwarming, yet extremely informative documentary - trying to do the right thing: GET PEOPLE TO TALK and have that all important conversation about doing right by all!!!! What a beautiful and well done documentary on our wild horses! Truly marvelous footage!! I love the positivity in your message and truly hope and pray that all can understand and commit to working together. The representatives of scientists and BLM was enlightening for me. Thank you so much ladies for this lovely and hopefully inspiring work!
Leanne, thank you for taking the time to watch the episode and grasp the magnitude of the task at hand. We so appreciate viewers who understand the mission. Have a beautiful day!
Ranchers want all grass for cows, now they ride OHV’s….4 wheelers…..and think that is better and easier than using horses, as their ancestors did, and were grateful to have horses. Just my opinion ! I love a good steak, and horses. Horses enabled building this country, not possible without their strength, speed, companionship and love, yes, love !
I look after the stray cats and kittens in my neighborhood. I found out some of my neighbors do too! I found life for them is difficult, but somehow some of the kittens make it. At times, i felt that I can't do this anymore. I have learned so much from them, and I continue to learn more
I gotta tip my hat to everyone and anyone doing right by America's hardest working family members. Horses should be in the place of the bald eagle they ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT America's Backbone. Every single one should be treated like royalty.
There has been a study completed in and around the Wild Horse as well as their effect on the land in which they live. The horse is an asset to the lands and the removal of these animals has a negative effect but the real reason they are being removed now is not being told.
So good. Just so good. I did adopt a "wild" mustang recently, although he has been in holding pens for two years so really more just semi-feral now. It was a big commitment but I am in it for the long haul. I just don't understand why the BLM does it the way they do! So much potential there for a long list of waiting adopters and a "commodity" that is so precious and special. I agree so much.
Hey just wondering what was the song called that you used in the trailer because I would love to listen to the full song I think it may be my new favorite song

Absolutely Beautiful & Stunning 😍...I love the work EveryOne is doing for these Wild Horses .. Plz never stop doing what you're doing & continue to bring awareness to their stories. It would be such a shame to lose one of them .. Thank You for a beautiful story/documentary 😊
There are some people that get their $1,000 for adopting the horse and then dump them in the slaughter pipeline even before the horses are registered. They do it over and over and over. BLM does not keep track of the horses once they are adopted
Wild Horses is FREEDOM 💕
Way to go Jersey girl....from a Jersey boy who loves horses
Thank you for caring for the wild horses . I would hate to see this country without them ! They have earned a spot on this continent.
They didn’t need to earn it they were here before us lol
The horse should be America's new national animal.
