I ve been checking your 6 turn about in E tonight, this one is the best use of the (open string) E pentatonic scale I have ever seen... EVER!!! I have been watching blues men for 35-40 years, looking for these super slick runs & really fun turn arounds!!, this one is hands down the best use of the E pentatonic scale , & you sharing it makes you one of the best hearted bluesmen alive. That is awesome by all standards. Let me know when you are coming anywhere near Chicago area, of if you want to..... thanks again for all your efforts and warm hearted kindness, it’s always a sign of the greatest of men, their strength of character shines right through their deeds.
Hi Jerry, it’s been quiet for a while on my end, but I’m back in the game sharing my stuff on UA-cam. Just so you know. 😉 Thanks for all your kind words. Enjoy the lessons and practice well my friend 😊🎶🎸👍
Hi Rosalez, right on. You got it. It’s all about learning solos and licks from others, build a vocabulary and then learn to talk in your own words. 😉🎸👊
Part of this reminds me of the Jimmy Reed/Eddie Taylor turnaround as in Left-Handed Woman. These are all 8th note triplets except the open E string is a dotted one.D 2 2 2 2 0 A 2 1 0 0 1 2 - into B7 chord.E 3 0 3

I love the fact that with blues licks you can deviate a little and create your own. I love this one, I can use it cranked on my Les Paul or Strat!

Wonderful. Thank you. I love that you teach slowly and clearly, and that these turnarounds are useful and also adaptable.

Cool and nicely taught. Thanks. ( small correction at 3:50 ish. It's a 9 all right but it's a sharp 9. )
