John Marston, Sarah and Lee’s death really hits hard… I also can’t believe Arthur Morgan is not on here, that’s ridiculous. But anyways, this video brings back a lot of good and bad memories.
@@dododonkey9513 Joel’s death wasn’t even that emotional tbh it was just plain confusing and stupid that naughty dog decided to kill him off so early, well at least imo
No game, show or movie character death hit me harder then Lee's for me. 10 years later the thought of it still depresses me. Really glad he's #1 on the list!
Zack's death in Crisis Core is also a tough one. We knew he wouldn't make it but we feel every blow he takes. And the Speech after is also something else.
It's been said 1000 times already, but Arthur Morgan's death is the single most devastating moment I've ever witnessed in gaming history, and I've been gaming since the early 80's. It's a crime he isn't on here.
Lee's death was heartbreaking. I teared up just watching the clip on this video. Ultimately, there was only one choice in that scenario, the humane one anyway. 😢
i just finish the four seasons this week i feel empty inside now. and relive the lee death again was so painfully D: i was hoping for him to be number 1, i never cried so much to a character death like he's
I knew Sarah was coming but it still hurt. A suggestion from me for this list is Yuriko from Ghost Of Tsushima. A sweet old lady and long time maid to the Sakai clan, she began to develop dementia, forgetting basic things and even mistaking Jin for his father. In her last moments Jin pretends to be his father to comfort Yuriko, and also I believe says a haiku. When he's done, Yuriko has passed. I shed a tear here, not just for Yuriko passing, but also as I related as my grandad has dementia. He is still alive thankfully, but him being in his condition hurts to see.
Ah yes, this is sad but I don’t feel like it’s so sad in the grand scheme of things. It’s the cycle, we all grow old and die eventually, it’s the one’s who should’ve had more time where we really feel that sadness. I’d say there was more beauty and peace in Yuriko’s death than sadness. Of course that’s not to say your feelings are false or misplaced in any way. We all feel differently about things, that’s why we went into the comment section to share our opinions or see others opinions. Sorry I type too much.😅

What’s even worse is that Brok is gone completely, meaning there’s no afterlife for him. Because of him dying once before & Sindri reviving him but missing a piece of his soul, there was no afterlife for him if he died. - Yoko Sawa (Lost Judgment): What makes her death sad is that she was completely innocent. She bears some guilt over Toshiro Ehara’s suicide for not speaking up for him about the bullying he endured, but she was killed by Soma just for knowing Kuwana. - Taka (Ghost of Tsushima): Taka was a really good friend to Jin during his journey to free Tsushima from the Mongols, but seeing Khotun Khan beheading him was brutal, especially when he & his sister Yuna were going to leave the island. - Cole Phelps (LA Noire): He died saving Jack & Elsa & it made me mad seeing that punkass Roy Earle talking about him at his funeral. - The entire Finch family (What Remains of Edith Finch): Let me run through the list: One dies from eating poisonous berries & toothpaste because she didn’t have anything to eat, one dies from a home invasion, one dies from launching himself off a swing over a cliff, one dies from being hit by a train, one dies drowning in the bathtub, one dies from being bucked off a cliff by a deer, one dies from a totem pole falling on him, one dies from a construction accident, one commits suicide, & Edith herself dies giving birth to her son.

Which death for Kenny? His season 2 death where Clem shoots him or his ANF death where he’s crippled by a car crash & sacrifices himself to walkers for Clem to recover AJ and flee.
William prices death had a major impact on chloe even more in before the storm as the game in her pov as his brief appreances in her nightmare sequences shows that chloe still hasnt gotten over his death and misses him dearly, he was such a kind, cool and loving father & husband for Chloe and Joyce

Nothing gets even close to this... I would even say that Beatrices death should make top 3 here, not because she was that likeable character, but how it broke Hugo was really heartbreaking.
The death of BT-7274, I know there is a theory that he's still alive but BT is one of my favourite characters and watching him die brought tears to my eyes. BT died a noble death and I feel like, even if his not entirely dead, he should be recognised. If there ever is a top 10 video sacifices, I think BT deserved to be on that list.

Talia al Ghul (Batman: Arkham City) 6. Jason Mars (Heavy Rain) 7. Jefferson Davis (Marvel's Spider-Man) 8. Carlos (Saints Row 2)
Spoilers for the Plague Tale games Hugo’s death was gutting. You spend two whole games searching for a cure for your brother, only five years old, and at his request, mercy -kill him to save the world.
SPOILER ALERT! Two more video game deaths that hit hard: SPOILER ALERT!!! In God of War Ragnarok, Brok's death and especially the way it came (BTW great work on the funeral song by Bear McCreary). Then in A Plague Tale: Requiem, the way the finale and Hugo's death play out made me drop my controller and sit in silence for about 15 minutes...
I give an honorable mention to Dezel from Tales of Zestiria, whose quest for revenge against his comrade's death led him to learn it was his fault in the first place. And in an act of redemption, he sacrifices his life force to save the person closest to him.
SAME! Holy shit, I've never seen anyone else mention Dezel, that moment fucked me up, as did many moments in that game. Hell, I'd even throw Zenrus/gramps and Muse onto the list.
To this day, Lee's death still doesn't sit well with me. Always wished for a way for him to come back. If he had a long lost twin or a look-alike. Definitely would've put a smile on Clem's face and ours!
The death of Isara, Welkin Gunther's discriminated against, yet cheery and immensely intelligent sister in Valkyria Chronicles always gets me. Particularly how its the final spur for Rosie and Largo to renounce their racism against her people.
@@vitorhenriquebatista Yeah, I actually searched to see if someone had already mentioned Valkyria Chronicles, and I'm glad I wasn't the only person who immediately thought of that game.
4:37 What makes Varl’s death even worse is realizing Sona just lost both of her kids & Aloy was there when they died. In Zero Dawn we meet Varl’s mother Sona & his sister Vala, & Vala was killed by the Eclipse because they were ordered by HADES to kill Aloy.
It truly broke my heart and made me burst into tears when Ruben the pig in minecraft story mode died it hurt so much hearing him sequel in pain and he deserved so much better I just wish he survived or in any case some how be brought back. I truly love animals. I love you Ruben the pig rest in peace my friend.
The Boss' death should be higher in ranking if you think of the impact it had to Big Boss, Solid Snake and Major Zero. Honorable Mentions: Hugo in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2. Nicole in Dead Space and her impact on Isaac's mind, mostly in Dead Space 2. Roth and Alex in Tomb Raider (2013). Albert Wesker and Alex Wesker. Alex Wesker could have been a great villain, but she was killed in a single game. Albert's death was just a waste. Having a cool character turning into a clown...
Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. Sarah Miller 2. Aerith 3. Lee Everett Before I explain, just letting you guys know it's been awhile since I last commented on of your videos due to having a busy life, but I'm back. It is top 3 easily for me but I wasn't sure about the order, however, I remember how awful Sarah's death because she is just a child and the way she holds dear to her dad makes it even more sadder and I her's worse than Aerith's and Lee Everett's. The ending of the walking dead season 1 was sad enough, however, I find the ending of season 2 sadder than the first because of not only losing friends/allies but also departing ways from each other.
What about Luis Sera's Death from Resident Evil 4? I know this one isn't that much sad but it's also sad anyway cuz Luis was a pretty supportive character to Leon in the story. He was a good person.
They must not know the story, otherwise it would be nr 1. And I would even say that Beatrices death should be pretty high on the list, because it was really heartbreaking how it broke Hugo.
2016. I had finally beaten Conler's Bad Fur day for the first time. Went through the ending and cried my eyes out. Conker just wanted to be happy and go home after a night of drinking, only to see his girlfriend killed in front of him. What followed was just so depressing. Even being King doesn't bring him joy
Mojo if you made this video without Arthur Morgan in it that means that someone on that channel doesn't know that Arthur Morgan is the number 1 saddest video game in history.
You missed one. Jeralt the Blade Breaker from Fire Emblem Three Houses. That death comes COMPLETELY out of left field. A death made even sadder by the fact that despite having the literal power to turn back time, it wasn't enough for Byleth to save Jeralt, leading to the first instance of Byleth crying.
One honorable mention; M/Mio of ‘Xenoblade 3’. I got so emotional when she was reaching the end of her lifespan, and that all the other heroes could do was sit in a cell next to hers, and wait for the day when her passing would take place. The emotions from Noah were especially gut-wrenching. Hats off to the voice actor for making me connect with his emotions. SPOILER ALERT DOWN BELOW I was incredibly relieved when it turns out it was M who swapped souls with Mio, taking her place so she could finally die. However, this still was sad, as it was N who now grieved in agony after losing her.
Considering her appearance, and slight signs and some unfinished sentences from Nia, all things indicate she is her daughter, despite there not being actual spoken proof she is.
Arthur morgan: Red Dead Redemption 2 Ezio auditore: first seen: assassins creed 2……… last seen: assassins creed: embers These two deaths messed me up for a day or two
No one talks about the deaths of Leo or Vincent in a way out they deserve to be on a list. basically long story short 2 guys Leo and Vincent went to prison Leo went in for robbing a diamond called the black orlav I think. Vincent apparently got framed for killing his brother. His brother got killed by this guy (Harvey) who also helped Leo rob the black orlav. They escape and plan to get revenge to kill Harvey together. after they kill Harvey they plan to go to their families and live their lives. Harvey was in Mexico so they took a plane there and back btw. When they got off the plane it was surrounded by police then a police chief goes up to Vincent hands him a gun and says good job it then reveals that when Leo and Harvey went to sell the diamond to this guy (who was Vincent’s brother) Harvey killed him. It was revealed earlier that Harvey betrayed Leo and left him behind but never revealed the Vincent and his brother were undercover cops until now. Leo got knocked out when Harvey hit him with his car that’s when Leo got arrested as Vincent and other cops were listening to what happened when Harvey killed Vincent’s brother so they ran in and arrested Leo. Leo is obviously pissed and takes Vincent’s gun and holds him hostage they get in a car and Leo drives away with Vincent they crash and Leo gets in a boat while the pilot of a police helicopter lands to pick up Vincent. Vincent shoots the boat trying to destroy it ( it doesn’t matter if he does or doesn’t). They fight and after awhile of Vincent and Leo shooting each other they fight over a gun. Whoever gets the gun wins. If Leo gets the gun Vincent tells him to take a note to Vincent’s wife Leo gives the note and how to his family to probably leave America. While after a couple days I think they have a funeral for Vincent and do the 21 gun salute. If Vincent gets the gun he shoots leopard killing him after a minute. He goes to tell leos wife and son when he’s done he goes back to his wife and quits being a cop to love his life with her and that’s the end.
Dom's death always gets me. My first introduction to the Gears of War series was playing co-op at a friend's house so I ended up playing as Dom more often than not. Even though Marcus's badassery was a great characterization for him, Dom just felt more personal to me. John Marston's death is another one that always gets me, as does Arthur Morgan's in RDRII. Even before he died, the moment where Arthur is sitting with the nun at the train station and tells her he's afraid was another painful moment that showed how broken and tired he had become. Lee's death in The Walking Dead hurt. He did everything he could to keep Clem safe and in the end, it cost him everything. I could never just leave him to his fate. I always had Clem shoot him. Another death that really hurt me was Cortana in Halo 4 (before anyone says she didn't die, technically she did. The Cortana we personally knew died saving Chief and a new different Cortana was reborn after she found the cure for AI rampancy.) It was one of the few times when we actually saw a break in Chief's hardened demeanor. Cortana had questioned him about being a machine and in the end, there was a moment where he couldn't even look at her, his voice actually breaking slightly. No matter how many times I play through Halo 4, Cortana 'death' will always get me.
The saddest video game death was that one time Yoshi (as me) fell off rainbow road right before getting 1st place in Mario Kart back like 8 years ago 😢
Lee was sad because of his story, we had such a strong connection with hhim and he just got bitten by a walker, he didn't deserve it but was was still the best way for him to go unike joel in tlou 2
Rip eli vance roman and dom i first played half life 2 in 2017 and gears back in 2010 and gta 4 back in 2011 always wanted Playstation for the last of us seeing sarah die when i played back in 2020 was sad but i already seen it on yt back in like 2013
I didnt know varl died stopped playing forbidden west been meaning to play again roach and ghost was sad to as a kid i think the first time i played it was in 2012 the mission noble six died in was sad too he fought till they overrunned him halo reach is the best halo and my favorite franchise pretty much think the first time i played was around 2011 or 2010 never finished rd1 but its sad that he dies when arthur sacrificed himself so he could live i finished rdr2 such a good game only finished the walking dead season 1 and 2 lee death was sad finished my first playthrough in 2014
Crippling Chloe over letting her die is probably the saddest moment for me in that game. Max had so much shit going on just because she wanted to save her best friend. (I mixed up names)
Think they were doing the 1 entry per franchise rule & they already had Sarah’s death on the list. Plus Joel’s was more shock & brutal than tragic & sad.
Here are some of the saddest video game deaths were you choose who lives or dies. Ashley or Kaidan in Mass Effect, Carley or Doug in the walking dead, JD or Del in Gears 5. These are some harsh situations to be in, and some truly heartbreaking moments.
I'm so glad they have Persona 4 on this list! I would have ranked it higher but I was actually wondering if they would even mention it! I Absolutely love that game! It is my favorite game ever! And I remember the first time I beat it and I got the bad ending without knowing it was the bad ending, oh my God it actually brought tears to my eyes! It was so sad and so emotional.
Hawke's possible death (I've never been able to choose the option, to be honest, watched it back on youtube) in DA: Inquisition becomes heartbreaking when you talk to his/her (and the Inquisitor's, by this point) friend Varric about it. The dwarven storyteller waxes poetic about an apropriate memory (depending on what personality your personal Hawke had in your playthrough of DA:2) before breaking down and needing a hug To be fair, Stroud and Loghain sacrificing themselves make far less of an impact. The same might be said for some players in regards to Alistair, the fourth(!) possible NPC that might present themselves in that scenario (for the laypeople: DA:I has a system which imports your choices from the previous games, resulting in mostly slight but sometimes fairly significant changes to the story)
I've heard that there's a chance that he's still alive in the fade and that he'll show up in the next game. Idk if any of that is true though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Top 10 are 10: Egil (Xenoblade Cronicles) All he wanted was revenge against the destruction of his home thanks to Zanzea. His death hit hard for me. 9: Charles (Henry Stickman) He was a funny character and his death was the hardest since he couldn't escape and even Henry mourns 8: Hinawa (Mother 3) Shocked nobody mentioned her, her death start Lucas's depression and not only that it was over all sad to hear the bad news. 7: Rueben (Minecraft story mode) He was my favorite pig with so much personality. :( He sacrificed himself to help Jesse. 6: Soap (Cod Modern Warfare 3) Protagonist since cod 4 and he was the saddest cod death since Elias (ghosts) and Ethan (Infinite warfare) 5: Baby Metroid (Super Metroid) A cute child that nearly killed Samus and sacrificed itself to save Samus against Mother Brain. 4: Ethan Winters (Resident Evil Village) He was a caring father who didn't need to die twice. 3: General Leo (Final Fantasy 6) He was a chill dude who didn't want to waste lives and reminded them they were regular human beings. 2: Mipha (Breath of the Wild) She loved Link so why not, and not only that her death may not have been onscreen but her death hurt me cause she is my favorite champion and her theme is sad 1: Jaro Tapal (Jedi Fallen Order) Jaro hurt me hard because of the jedi purge and his death influenced Cal's journey to move through his past.
I'm sure it doesn't "really" count as he - sort of - comes back to life in KH 3D, but Axel's death in Kingdom Hearts II still has me in tears and pisses me off at the same time. Every time I play that scene, my motivation to kick the backsides of Saïx, Luxord, Xigbar and especially Xemnas rises another 10 notches. So as sad as his sacrifice is, it makes the endgame and the defeat of the Original Organization XIII all the sweeter for me.
What about the scene in Yakuza 0 where Tachibana finally reunites with his sister Makoto but unfortunately.. you know what im not gonna say it, that is one the most heartbreaking scene in my gaming career

Then in A Plague Tale: Requiem, the way the finale and Hugo's death play out made me drop my controller and sit in silence for about 15 minutes...
I think BTs death from Titanfall 2 the only game to make me Cry so much
Ghost death hurt me a lot 😢😢
I give an honorable mention to Dezel from Tales of Zestiria, whose quest for revenge against his comrade's death led him to learn it was his fault in the first place. And in an act of redemption, he sacrifices his life force to save the person closest to him.
SAME!
Holy shit, I've never seen anyone else mention Dezel, that moment fucked me up, as did many moments in that game. Hell, I'd even throw Zenrus/gramps and Muse onto the list.
Every death is gangster until Phone guy's night 4 tape exist
To this day, Lee's death still doesn't sit well with me. Always wished for a way for him to come back. If he had a long lost twin or a look-alike. Definitely would've put a smile on Clem's face and ours!
I wish Lee was alive. 😭😢
Lee's death makes me cry everytime. 😭
The death of Isara, Welkin Gunther's discriminated against, yet cheery and immensely intelligent sister in Valkyria Chronicles always gets me. Particularly how its the final spur for Rosie and Largo to renounce their racism against her people.
Agreed. This was definitely one of the most impactful deaths I've seen in any game.
I was hoping someone mention it. Her burial with Rosie singing is the saddest moment of one of my favorite games.
@@vitorhenriquebatista Yeah, I actually searched to see if someone had already mentioned Valkyria Chronicles, and I'm glad I wasn't the only person who immediately thought of that game.
Thank you WatchMojo for finally recognizing Lee's death as sadder than Aerith's.
Although I definitely cried when Mordin, Lee, and Sarah died, to this day no other gaming death has completely broken me as much as Aunt May’s death
I played that game and witness her death and got in tears not physically crying but was heartbroken.
Even now after 10 years I still cry like a baby after seeing Lee’s Death
And we're still not over it. 😭💔
How can you not mention Arthur Morgan's death?? I'm still not over it, he was the best character for me in the Red Dead franchise.😭😭
Glad somebody finally put aunt may here. I was bawling from “take off your mask”
The Boss' death should be higher in ranking if you think of the impact it had to Big Boss, Solid Snake and Major Zero.
Honorable Mentions:
Hugo in A Plague Tale: Requiem.
Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. Sarah Miller
2. Aerith
3. Lee Everett
Before I explain, just letting you guys know it's been awhile since I last commented on of your videos due to having a busy life, but I'm back.
Lee's death breaks my heart the most.😭
Soaps death from mw3 will forever traumatize me, just hearing price freak out for the first time hurt me💔
Sergeant Major Johnsons from halo 3 gets me almost every time
Lee's death is still sad and is easily 2nd but how tf can you not put Arthur who made the entire community cry at his death
There should've been an honorable mention like:
Fire Emblem Fates- Elise's death
B-12: Stray game
Akira Howard's sibling- Astral Chain
etc.
Wait , you have John from RDR 1 on the list but no Arthur from RDR 2 ?
Emile from Valiant Hearts: The Great War is forever on top of my list.
Please do Top 20 Video Game Characters from Loved to Hated!
What about Luis Sera's Death from Resident Evil 4? I know this one isn't that much sad but it's also sad anyway cuz Luis was a pretty supportive character to Leon in the story. He was a good person.
And Chopper's death in Ace Combat 5 and also Soap McTavish's death in MW3?
I’m shocked Arthur Morgan didn’t even get on the list.
But it’s baffling Charles Calvin isn’t on here.
Rest in peace Lee 😢 😭💔
How is Soap’s death not on here, I thought It was much sadder than Ghost and Roach
Hugo from A Plague tale Requiem must be on the top of the list
They must not know the story, otherwise it would be nr 1. And I would even say that Beatrices death should be pretty high on the list, because it was really heartbreaking how it broke Hugo.
@@ulariv1701 You're absolutely right
2016. I had finally beaten Conler's Bad Fur day for the first time. Went through the ending and cried my eyes out. Conker just wanted to be happy and go home after a night of drinking, only to see his girlfriend killed in front of him. What followed was just so depressing. Even being King doesn't bring him joy
Broooo
How was Arthur Morgan not mentioneeddddd😭😭😭
How the hell didn't Soap in MW3 made the cut! Roach and Ghost deaths weren't even that sad, you barely knew them. Soap was with you for 3 games
Maria's death in Gears of War 2 is the most gut wrenching moment that still hunts me!
Dom lost everything ever since E-Day. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Mojo if you made this video without Arthur Morgan in it that means that someone on that channel doesn't know that Arthur Morgan is the number 1 saddest video game in history.
*The Finch Family left the chat...Minus Milton*
SPOILER ALERT DOWN BELOW
I was incredibly relieved when it turns out it was M who swapped souls with Mio, taking her place so she could finally die. However, this still was sad, as it was N who now grieved in agony after losing her.
Is mio the daughter of nia?
Considering her appearance, and slight signs and some unfinished sentences from Nia, all things indicate she is her daughter, despite there not being actual spoken proof she is.
Egil from Xenoblade Cronicles 1, his death more of a sacrifice hit hard since all he wanted for Bionis destroyed because his home was destroyed.
Arthur morgan: Red Dead Redemption 2
Ezio auditore: first seen: assassins creed 2……… last seen: assassins creed: embers
These two deaths messed me up for a day or two
Lee’s death hits different 😢💔
We're still not over it 😭
No one talks about the deaths of Leo or Vincent in a way out they deserve to be on a list. basically long story short 2 guys Leo and Vincent went to prison Leo went in for robbing a diamond called the black orlav I think.
Metroplex from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
The saddest video game death was that one time Yoshi (as me) fell off rainbow road right before getting 1st place in Mario Kart back like 8 years ago 😢
Arther Morgen is the saddest death..
I honestly cried over Sarah and Brok’s Deaths it was so unfortunate and unexpected.
RIP Brok
I can’t believe Brok actually died
The fact Ethan Winters isn’t on this list is criminal.
Agree 100%, sacrificed himself to save his daughter, Rose.
Could think of several RE deaths that were sadder then Ethan Placeholder Winters lol
Those who would attend Doms funeral.
👇
Fçk it man... only 8 of us 😅😅
Lee was the first time I ever cried at a video game
And we're still not over it. 😭💔
Lee was sad because of his story, we had such a strong connection with hhim and he just got bitten by a walker, he didn't deserve it but was was still the best way for him to go unike joel in tlou 2
It broke our hearts to loose one of Telltale Games beloved characters.😭😢 💔😢😭
Rip eli vance roman and dom i first played half life 2 in 2017 and gears back in 2010 and gta 4 back in 2011 always wanted Playstation for the last of us seeing sarah die when i played back in 2020 was sad but i already seen it on yt back in like 2013
I didnt know varl died stopped playing forbidden west been meaning to play again roach and ghost was sad to as a kid i think the first time i played it was in 2012 the mission noble six died in was sad too he fought till they overrunned him halo reach is the best halo and my favorite franchise pretty much think the first time i played was around 2011 or 2010 never finished rd1 but its sad that he dies when arthur sacrificed himself so he could live i finished rdr2 such a good game only finished the walking dead season 1 and 2 lee death was sad finished my first playthrough in 2014
Sarah's death always gets me, man.
What a coincidence our buddy 6 is number 6
Kate's death (if you chose to) in Life Is Strange had me crying for hours.
Crippling Chloe over letting her die is probably the saddest moment for me in that game. Max had so much shit going on just because she wanted to save her best friend.
(I mixed up names)
Same with Chloe Price’s death
I replayed the entire episode to save her.
"Tell us you haven't played God Of War Ragnarok without telling us you haven't played God Of War Ragnarok"
*[Spoiler Alert]*
I already knew our boy Lee was going to be #1 because he _is_ #1
We're still not over it 😭
Joel's death was more of an impact than his child
How is Joel not number1???? That scene was insane.
Think they were doing the 1 entry per franchise rule & they already had Sarah’s death on the list. Plus Joel’s was more shock & brutal than tragic & sad.
Sarah’s death was more tragic & more sad. With how Joel’s death was handled, it was done out of shock value.
How was Reuben from Minecraft Story Mode not on this list?
Hawke's possible death (I've never been able to choose the option, to be honest, watched it back on youtube) in DA: Inquisition becomes heartbreaking when you talk to his/her (and the Inquisitor's, by this point) friend Varric about it. The dwarven storyteller waxes poetic about an apropriate memory (depending on what personality your personal Hawke had in your playthrough of DA:2) before breaking down and needing a hug
To be fair, Stroud and Loghain sacrificing themselves make far less of an impact.
Top 10 are
10: Egil (Xenoblade Cronicles) All he wanted was revenge against the destruction of his home thanks to Zanzea. His death hit hard for me.
9: Charles (Henry Stickman) He was a funny character and his death was the hardest since he couldn't escape and even Henry mourns
8: Hinawa (Mother 3) Shocked nobody mentioned her, her death start Lucas's depression and not only that it was over all sad to hear the bad news.
7: Rueben (Minecraft story mode) He was my favorite pig with so much personality. :( He sacrificed himself to help Jesse.
6: Soap (Cod Modern Warfare 3) Protagonist since cod 4 and he was the saddest cod death since Elias (ghosts) and Ethan (Infinite warfare)
5: Baby Metroid (Super Metroid) A cute child that nearly killed Samus and sacrificed itself to save Samus against Mother Brain.
4: Ethan Winters (Resident Evil Village) He was a caring father who didn't need to die twice.
3: General Leo (Final Fantasy 6) He was a chill dude who didn't want to waste lives and reminded them they were regular human beings.
2: Mipha (Breath of the Wild) She loved Link so why not, and not only that her death may not have been onscreen but her death hurt me cause she is my favorite champion and her theme is sad
1: Jaro Tapal (Jedi Fallen Order) Jaro hurt me hard because of the jedi purge and his death influenced Cal's journey to move through his past.
Lees death broke my heart I still cry
We're still not over it.😢😭💔
I'm sure it doesn't "really" count as he - sort of - comes back to life in KH 3D, but Axel's death in Kingdom Hearts II still has me in tears and pisses me off at the same time. Every time I play that scene, my motivation to kick the backsides of Saïx, Luxord, Xigbar and especially Xemnas rises another 10 notches. So as sad as his sacrifice is, it makes the endgame and the defeat of the Original Organization XIII all the sweeter for me.
How about Joel’s death in The Last of Us Part 2! That should’ve been in there!
yeah but nobody cared.
What about the scene in Yakuza 0 where Tachibana finally reunites with his sister Makoto but unfortunately.. you know what im not gonna say it, that is one the most heartbreaking scene in my gaming career
Jokers death in Arkham city was a tear jerker. He was innocent didn’t deserve such a death 😫
Define "Innocent"?
