I hope you learnt something new, If so what was your favourite tip? If not, tell me your best tip!
guess what's missing is that hunter cloathing is waterproof and gives more eq slots, you can make a belt out of a rope and rope out of rags, sharpening a steak knife uses the sharpening stone much less than other knives, and that head torches with red light are less visible in the night than regular ones
Explosives on a vest is the only way NOT to explode when shot!
Tip: keep to lower terrain and avoided hill tops and tops of buildings if possible to prevents being spotted, if you do have to be atop of a building or cross the crest stay low and or move fast to minimizes your silhouette this also apply regardless if it day or night.
bonus tip: if you want to go sniper but don't want to make a stash or head back to base to grab/stash your ghillie suit or just want to carry more while ghillie up grab an assault vest and throw a utility butt pack on it, now you can go into town without looking like a bush Wookie and you can or stay around and harass a large clan base for far longer without resupply.

You can also use a tire repair kit to repair an an NBC suit.
Here’s sum tips : ferris wheels face east to west, and for an easy stash u can put a create in the trunk of a wrecked car and lock it with a lockpick, u can also cure gas sickness with a blood bag with the matching blood type, If u wanna troll ur friends give them a full NBC suit with a yellow rain jacket 😂

Quickest way to get dry is a torch much quicker than any fire
@@richardgrayson3426fr it's so broken it takes maybe 10 seconds to go from soaked to dry. There is nothing quicker in the game for drying clothes rn.
Can we just take a second to appreciate how massively detailed this game is? Graphics are obviously alot to be desired, but the level of detail and realism makes up for that. The fact u can craft a makeshift fishing pole from scratch and a fishing hook from bones is insane to me. Just started playing this game a few days ago and it took a while to finally keep a steady source of food and water. These tip videos have really helped me come along. I'm loving it so far.

I knew about the blowtorch and I always carry pliers to make hunting traps from barbed wire, so if this is true it's even more of a reason to hold on to

I have a tip i dont think ive seen any videos mention. If you only take a couple 'bites' or 'gulps' when youre sick, it prevent you from throwing up.
I think it also works with unknown food cans. Im never desperate enough to eat one without a vitamin so take it with a grain of salt
@@marshallallen2474 You can eat everything without vitamins, cat food, dog food, rotten veggies, unknown cans. Just don't rush it.
@@marshallallen2474 You can eat half an unknown food can to get the saturated stomach symbol and nothing will happen. It's only when you're eating 3-4 cans as your only food source that you get poisoning from it.
*Grenades placed on your vest don’t explode anymore when shot. The devs changed that with the last patch of the previous update. Just make sure they’re placed into protective clothing or items. *You can bury players and/or infected with a pickaxe and/or farming hoe as well next to the shovel and field shovel.
*Epoxy putty also fixes the protective case.
*You don’t need to sprint to get through under walls jogging does the trick as well
*You can make a leather bag with pelt and fertilizer, then combine the pelt with a leather kit.
*Handy for new players to call the M14 with it’s in game name DMR to prevent them from looking for a M14.
*The M4 and AUR AX, the SVD and KAM only spawns at static gas zones. The LAR spawns at heli crash sites and convoys, NOT in the gas zones. You can only find the metal silencers (apart from the pistol silences) in the static gas zones as well.
*You also need the nbc boots to complete your nbc suit otherwise you’ll still get cut.
*You can also use a tire repair kit to fix your nbc suit.
I knew all the other tip already and as seen above you missed a couple of things as well that will help new players.

I don't think that's correct. My friend shot someone that was in a car last night and hit the pox grenade they had on their vest. We had to wait a while to loot and take the car.
@@onemiller1163 i don’t know which patch exactly but it has been put in around the time the DMR came. Might have been an update before it. The only grenades to explode that are placed in a grenade slot on a vest are the gold tip 44mm ones and the gas tip 44mm ones

If you are starving and have no food rotate around the large haystacks in feilds to find mushrooms

A tip for keeping warm: cook worms and keep them in your coat or pants pockets, they will keep you warm indefinitely and they take up very little space
can i cook them like meat on a stick or in a chamnin?
Also why can i eat fish cooked on a stick but if i do them in a oven to smoke or cook them i get hurt and pass out?
Tried it, did not work. The worm got cold very quickly.

Either you are not waiting for the fish to cool down when eating (you need ti wait until it cools of a little to 60 degress I think or it hurts you)
or you are staying to close to the fire.
Another way is to heat a can of soda or food and keeps you warm for a little longer than the stakes
Soundless weapon swap. Go into inventory and drop a weapon on the ground and then swap it with the weapon in your hand. Optional put weapon that's on the ground into your inventory or shoulder slot. (Soundless weapon swap(pickup) can only be done while in inventory menu) otherwise it will make a sound
Also the left shoulder is the quickest draw compared to right shoulder or drawing from inventory. No sound swap also works when managing inventory or when you need an item (for example your range finder) without making a noise
@@Mysticism030want another great tip or trick? Quick canceling. If your cooking and or crafting and someone decides to be d head, pressing aim will quickly stand your character up instantly allowing you sprint away and counter attack. Or you can just do this right after crafting healing etc. to speed up the process. Allowing you to bandage faster could save you from losing too much blood. 8)
this was changed in the 1.23 update they make a sound when drop from inventory

@@massimom1079 that is not true. I played both patches and i do this all the time. Played yesterday for about 7 hrs and no sounds when drag and dropping weapons from and/or into your vicinity.
Another tip for those survivors who are finding food scarce: take a multivitamin, while the pill icon is on screen, you can enjoy raw steaks, fish etc!
As well as dirty water.. Yummy!

The one tip I didn't know already was the flash bang in the vest when breaching a room of players. I can't wait to test that one out.
there is some slight misinformation.
grenades do not explode on your vest when shot at.
the m4 and akm also only spawn in static gas zones.
the po-x vial also spawns in the bunker on livonia
the punched card only spawns on the convoy officer in livona and in the static gas zones on livonia
spawns on the east coast do not face north
Always spawn in facing North. Even on the east coast
No cause I can get them from presents under the trees

I got the best tip, join high pop official and just wait around the spawn points for a geared player it’s so easy because they just come back with another duped kit haha
Don’t ever fight zombies, they drain your resources with nearly every encounter. If you’re in an area where you want to clear zombies, just get at a safe but close distance. Sit down and log out. Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute and log back in and they’ll all be gone. Sometimes it doesn’t work the first time, but that’s very unusual. This trick will work as long as there isn’t another player in the area.
You can clear out many military checkpoints and bases by doing this simple trick.
What a great game. I'm a console player. Taking a break until new content or new group to play with.
im really excited to find out what the new map will be. hopefully a fully new zone, so console players get some new goodies. im on PC so i have like 30 maps to pick from, but it's nice having officially supported zones popping up

I learned recently that you don't need to combine the ammo and empty mag, you can just hold reload to do it while it's in your hand. Saves me a TON of time reloading now. Small thing, but very helpful

Soundless pick up of a log (PC), tab to inventory then double click the log on the floor. Equally, soundless building use a Meat Tenderiser instead of a hatchet/hammer
Not gonna lie, I'm a vet, I learned a few things. Subbed my dude. Be safe survivors.
after over 2000 hours of play, i didn't learn anything new. but it's fun seeing those tricks put into practice on the screen. some tips i have are:
run on grass or dirt instead of roadways, as your footwear will last a little bit longer.
put SOMETHING in your hand when you are using bare hand melee combat. it increases the damage done by your fists. a food can works great if you are just starting out
when cooking meats, if you put the raw meat on the upper "smoking" slots, the meat becomes dried, which doesn't go rotten as quickly. good if you end up with a large amount of meat. cook a few the regular way, because those also give you water, as the dried ones only give you calories and no moisture.
you CAN eat rotten fruits and veggies, but only eat about 1/3 at a time, then wait a little. this prevents you from getting an upset stomach. same for the unknown food can, and cat/dog food. eat it slow and it's just fine. but don't eat several unknown cans in a row, as this can give you a specific illness due to a chemical exposure in the cans.
cat and dog food cannot make you sick tho
Don't forget to saw off the Magnum pistol for a more Gangster Look
You can stealth kill zombies with a bayonet on your rifle. If you aggro a zombie you can one shot it with a bayonet by aiming above the head. I think this is very useful if you’re in a dangerous area where lots of players are, you can keep your rifle ready in your hands in case you run into a player and quietly take out zombies if you have to.
I learned that there is smoke from the chimneys when you make a fire in the little red things

Pox do. We found it out last night when a buddy sniped a guy after he got into his car and it was surrounded by gas when we went down to loot.
Pox cant be attached to any vest only the ones for the grenade launcher@@krown466

When I spawn the first thing I look for are rags and some kind of knife or knife making materials and I usually grab a long stick to use as a weapon and it can be used to make a fire or firestarter. I ALWAYS go towards chickens and roosters if I hear them early on because I can cook and eat them and get a heat buff while I’m at it.

I strongly recommend practicing your gun skills on a pvp server. Believe me it'll save your life more than once.
There are some handguns that only alert if fired in quick succession (3+ shots) aswell. Suppressed obviously.
The explosives on your vest going off is partially true. 40mm explosive shells and gas shells do go off when shot. Landmines and claymores will explode in clothing when shot, if they're not in a container. Grenades will not take damage when attached to a vest. I've done around 30 tests with various calibers and weapons.
I dident know you could ressusitate someone with epi pen, my like is locked in
I always use combat boots. I haven't encountered a scenario where they are louder than the athletic shoes, but they are more durable!
if you look at your stamina icon when running, the amount of bars dictates how far away zombies can hear your footfalls. YOU don't hear much of a difference, but the zombies will, and people with good sound equipment can her you running around from farther away as well.
Use Hiking Boots instead. Theyre more quiet, half the weight, the best insulation, and only just a little less durable
@@jermasbiggestfan7796 combat boots only go up to te 3rd noise level, so no point. They can’t be more quiet if combat boots are as quiet as athletic shoes🙄

Assault boots are best, you can put a knife inside of them!

About spawns... i think it really works. I am a new dayz player. I gave my friend my account just so he could try the game and buy it for himself. Anyways, now we are playing together, we died together and together pressed to respawn. He said that he sees a player running around. It was me. I guess friends really need to respawn at the same time
it was just luck that you spawned near.
its totally random where you respawn.
but you can always spam respawn until you spawn close.

buddy teachin me to play he had the hood up, was pushing the car. he said i can help.
woot ok im on it. i walk up get the prompt..... and then i had radiator in my hand....... i asked him what happened. he got a little salty lol.
he knew he made the mistake leaving the hood up. but yea.... long story short we rescued the car later next day. then he drove it into the pond before we got home lol.... so i didnt feel so bad about the radiator mishap anymoree lol
17:03 - to my knowledge, the M4 is still the fastest wall-buster raid gun, unless they've changed the stat. There was a time when the Vaiga was faster, but it was nerfed several updates ago.
LARs also spawn at convoys and using a bandana to wrap a wound is silent

When making bases and using tents to store boxes, keep them near the center otherwise if they are close enough to the sides, players can grab them from the outsides

Never knew a large fish trap existed, thats wild.
It’s much quicker and easier to use the wire for a snare or fish for food though they should’ve made them catch multiple fish to make them worthwhile

craziest tip to me was putting the flash grenade on your vest when breaching a room lol that's so sneaky
5:54 50/50 chance that it explodes while using a knife idk about screwdriver but lockpick is apparently 100% safe. Bear traps can be stopped by a long stock or i believe also a broom

7:27 - wound infection is nowhere near "one of the deadliest infections in the game". Also, there's no need to waste all your tincture disinfecting bandages/rags. Just be sure to carry some with you at all times (it's only two slots). When the infection icon appears, simply hold the tincture in your hand. If you have an infected wound, it will give the option "disinfect my wounds". You must perform the action when the infection symbol first appears. If you wait until you have fevered headaches (heavy breathing + wiping sweat +grunt + blurred vision) it's too late.

Never understand the real story of dayz, like why the cities are so empty, why our character is immune to the zombie bite, how much time passed before the apocalypse, why the zombies have a curse that block them from exit the cities?
just had my first run on dayZ, good start, got some food and liquids, killed a chicken for meat and cooked it travelled inland, found some guns, found a military base and got an AK with 2 mags, ran round looking for water, couldnt find water, night time, massive thunder storm around 3 hours in, panicked ran into a town for water, zombies swarm me, i barely manage to kill them and am on blinking health with blinking water and no water to be seen, get on my knees, shoot myself in the head with my AK. good start lol
My first round was horrible I found a pistol then went into a house and found a player he said friendly but I got trigger happy I shot 4 times but missed 3 he then knocked me out then waited until I was awake then hit with a shovel killing ne
You can get bones from dead players when you cut them up, and you can unlock locked doors by shooting the handle a number of time. 4 shots from the pioneer does it
I just punch the door until it clicks open, use gloves or you bleed.
Grenades don’t blow up if they’re in the holster. It’s been tested an shown by Wobo an fresh spawns.

I have been playing DayZ since release on console and I have heard many people say that if you are bleeding that it will eventually clot but that is not true I have died multiple times from one bleed because I couldn't find any rags. I'm not sure why people keep telling people this great video though other than that

Free tip: stab vests offer a small amount of protection to lower caliber bullets such as 9mm if the research hasn't changed over time I wanna say it was like 6 9mm rounds before the vest broke and I took a bleed. And it was like two .45 caliber rounds to break and bleed I plan on retesting it but feel free to test and share if you deem it worth rav
Bandana not balaclava to use as bandage lol. And while Aviators will always make you 10X cooler(except for Pee Dough Joe), the Tactical Goggles are the best eyewear as they remove sun glare, without tinting your vision.

I also have a really hard time finding pictures of Joe and Epstein partying it up but there are a plethora of trump hanging out with Jeff. Wow I was playing on a server that characters spawned with tons of candy canes I thought they were junk so I tossed all but one. I wondered why it gave me nutrition when I ate it but didn’t realize it was that much.
Pro tip: carry 1 of all medical supplies
