    Very nice Matt on final do you keep manifold above 15 or you play with throttle, reason I ask am getting checked out on mj20 and I was reading the POH and it mentions what I ask you above thnk you

      Thanks! Yeah, typically somewhere around 15", but if I'm high, I'll pull throttle completely. My plane is placarded "Avoid cont. ops. below 15” between 1500 and 1950 rpm," but, on final, you do what you gotta do. The placard, I think, is meant to keep people from operating in that range for long periods. I do not run MP below 20" when operating normally.
