Great book. One of only two books I threw across the room while reading. That takes some doing and a credit to Terry Brooks.

I just picked these books up. Well. Audiobooks. Finished the sword and elfstones in about a month. Great review. I'm looking forward to wishsong. But I do not like that hat. 49ers all the way. 😆

I like the later books but I love the first seven. I miss the King of the Silver River, he hasn’t been seen for books and books.

Ya I liked the early Shannara books more than the later ones

Mine have gone up by quite a bit. At least Amazon & Audible orders were up. But overall, word is that since the Barnes & Nobles have been closed, physical sales are down by a lot...and also rumor is Barnes & Noble is using this opportunity to close a lot of its stores. We shall see

Well that makes sense. I rarely go to Barnes & Noble so I didn't really think about that. I'm hoping my local used book stores open back up soon, fingers crossed.

I hate this book so much, as all of the characters are extremely shallow, and empty with absolutely no likeable traits whatsoever
