i have the same problem while i remove the connector i dont see any engine reaction or sound change. as it should make a different while disconnecting the mass sensor. am i right gentle mans? am from north iraq and am not a mechanic
@@1m.dencker995 i think the problem comes from the o2 sensor ( lambda ) ,,,,, the engine injects to much fuel ,,, and the engine doesnt have enough air for that !! controlle your lambda first and u mass air to ! i have the same problem from 2 years ,, but engine is running without lambda i'll buy one today and install it later to see the difference

It has nothing to do with icv, that is working properly. This symptom appears on m50b2x 6 S1 when the dme can't go closed loop at idle. That means: 1 - no lambda signal 2 - improper throttle body setting 3 - too high fuel pressure (not possible on a stock engine) Measure the NBO signal w/ digital storage oscilloscope. If you find the problem, chinese Mobiletron brand works okay for no $$$

U have to change the valve my freind , i thought that it was fro the canister but the problem came back so the valve was the problem u clean it , if nothing changes , buy a new one
clean icv (idle control valve) solve u problem
Inside the airflow meter it has two points one has not conected must it be conected or not

Had the same thing with my 92 m50 325is , probably a bad maf, if not icv. Also make sure the hoses to throttle body are hooked up correctly.
what was the problem on your car? , mine is like that ,, HELP !! was it the air mass ? lambda maybe ?
@@sidahmedouabel7417 pretty sure maf when I unplug it, car runs fine but its difficult to find a non vanos maf so I have just dealt with it
