    I would love to make these, but there are no poppy seeds in your ingredient list, so I don't know how much you're using. Also, you never mention mayo or eggs, although these are in the ingredient list. Are the eggs only for brushing on top?

    Poppy seeds cost a fortune, paid $17 per pound. Just like Mom used to make.

    That's a lot of liquid for 6 cups of flour. Dough was too soft until I got to 7.5 cups of flour. A powdered sugar & water glaze works well on top after baking.

      Fred Liebkemann yes all flour are different. You might be needing more which is normal :)
