- Hey house lovers and explorers!
Cant give away too many details on this place other than it is a magnificent and unique arts and craft influenced bungalow that will stun you! Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching :-)
I started off saying what an amazing house, I could live there easily, then saw how it was destroyed. Almost made me cry, such a sinking feeling how anyone could be so disrespectful of something so beautiful.
Agreed! Heart wrenching.
Yes, what a great house - real character - not like soul-less modern homes.
It’s not just the house that goes, but often the surrounding trees and the beautiful birds. We often hear them in your videos
Love hearing the birds as well
What an enchanting place. It calls out to my spirit to live there. My four dogs and I would be so happy. It still could be redone. I would make it shine again. The grounds, the patio, the gorgeous foliage, the birds and sheep in the distance. Everything I could ever want. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. I will have a hard time sleeping because I can’t forget it and it’s beckoning to me. Love from Ft Worth Texas
Hi Denise 🙂 so glad you enjoyed this place. It really is a beautiful sanctuary with all the birds gardens and trees. Thanks for watching 👍😁

Thank goodness you found real estate photos to show what this place was like before it was ruined by becoming a grow house. Another lovely house from way back when ruined and most likely to be flattened 😢
Yes, left to rot then replaced with some modern monstrosity.
That house is very pretty and could still be restored. The problem seems to be no one but the corporations can afford to buy those older homes. That place would be a treat to live in.
What a shame to let this beauty go. It's a nice fixer upper. That garden is so lush and serene. Thanks for the explore. Here from South Carolina
Thank you for sharing all these beautiful homes with us! Greetings from Michigan, USA
The garden is extraordinary!!! Plus all of the nature noises! So different that So Calif. Love it!
Rainbow lorikeets...lovely to look at, & I swear they have a very highly developed sense of humour. I've seen them clowning around heaps.🦜🤡🤣
Heartbreaking! Such a lovely house and yard, but what a mess🤒
Glad to hear Michael snapping pictures and hope all is well for him and his son.
Thank you for sharing this.
Greetings from Seattle.
Hi Marian :-) This Michael is a different Michael. The one you are thinking of is up in NSW :-) Cheers for watching
I'm sick of what these potheads do to homes. The yard was nice and large, love greenery birds enjoying themselves. Paul, thanks for sharing this week's video.
So sad! What a beautiful property.
yes beutafull awsome garden
So sad. It was beautiful at one time. I agree with your Wow!
Hi Paul, you sure do find interesting homes to treat us with🤗 beautiful stone and woodwork. The garden is glorious, even in its' wild state. I love the stunning clumps of Acanthus Mollis or 'Bears Breeches' plants in particular...the sprawling rich green broad leaf plants with the tall flower spikes ad a graciousness to any garden. They also have medicinal properties. 😗
I have those spiky flower things come up in the yard as well, what medicinal properties to they have. I always thought they look messy and pull them out.
the bungalow looks lovely
Makes me want to cry for anyone to do this to fine home!!!!!
Hi Urbex thanks for showing me this beautiful home 🏡 what a shame about it they certainly did a number on it no wonder they want to knock ✊ it down David ✌️🙏❤️🇬🇧👍
Hello Mr Indigo and Mickaël✌️ it was a pretty house👍 too bad I love the outside a lot of greenery 😁😁👋👋
Love the stone work!!!!💝
Awesome 👌 urbex beautiful house in the day sad thanks man appreciate cheers 🍻 👏
love all the wild life sounds i wpuld love to visit astraila.on my bucket list .
Loved this old treasure ,so sad it’s going to be demolished , 😢😢😢 THANKYOU so much for for your videos I’m sooooooo loving watching ,DI 👍🇦🇺
A very unique house. Ive never seen fireplaces like that either. A beautiful garden sanctuary.
what a wonderful house, the exterior is beautiful and the interior was so beautifully simple, wish someone with the means would rehab it
I agree William, can be restored :-)
must have been a beauty at one time... i'd love to get my hands on a garden like this!!
Gorgeous old house. I would love to own a house like a lot you show.
Hello Paul. What a lush and quiet spot around this sweet cottage. Nasturtiums are just growing like wildfire. This yard is prettier now than in the realtor photos. Too bad this lovely house was made into a grow house. It amazes me that they leave so much behind. All that equipment costs so much money. Maybe they had to get out fast or maybe just bake it into the cost of their product. I am quite fond of this cute house with all it's adorable door knobs and pretty fireplaces. Waving hello from Maine (soon to be waving from GA).
I love this house
Why Georgia? We wish we were going from Georgia to Maine!
🌟My first impressions wow love it but then completely spoiled by the grow rooms. Love the red room! Beautiful gardens very private and the stone work very beautiful. Thank you so much again. 😊❤🌟:-)
Beautiful plants....looks like paradise to me!! Especially with the birds singing! What a mess inside! Except for the ruined wood floors, seems to me it needs just a good clean. Could be I wear rose colored glasses?
You are right Nancy, this could and should be used the perfect reason and opportunity to fully restore it. Cheers for watching :-)
the wide doors are very nice , restored they would make a great entrance front doors or interior doors
Hi t M , glad you enjoyed thanks for watching :-)
I would do anything to have this style home, the house the gardens are quirky ideal for me and my 2 cat & crafts such a shame!
Oh wow... what a sad state of affairs this home has become. Skunk Farms are an absolute scourge here in 'ole Blighty. A few years back, we actually got a leaflet through our door from our local police instructing residents on how to identify potential 'farms' along one's road - and one of the bullet points went along the lines of "there not bring any snow or frost on the roof of said house during winter" 😅 Not to mention the electric theft which the rest of us mugs end up paying for one way or another. Thanks again for another great upload 😊
Thanks Sarah :-) Yep they definitely go all out to make a buck with these places. Cheers for watching
wow whata placei would live out my days their
love your exsplores
Thank you Berlieanna :-) Glad you are enjoying
Such a sad end to what must have been a beautiful property, thank you for showing us round.
Hi Paul
I can’t believe drug dealers turned this beautiful home into a drug factory. It’s an
outrage how this can happen in an abandon home. It’s bad enough that these
homes are left abandon to waste away but when drug dealers come into residential
neighborhoods it’s time to let the house go and say let it be knocked over. It’s the
only way to get all the evil out. I know how bad you feel witnessing this first hand.
There is evil everywhere in this world. I really like those sunrooms and to have more
than one is a dream. The real estate photos did this house justice. We got to see
how beautiful and charming this house was. Oh and I absolutely love hearing the
birds singing and chirping when you are filming outside. Just priceless.
Until next time Paul try to be happy and chalk it up to stupidity on the part of the
drug dealers and users. Until next time stay safe and well.❤
I'm so glad you had those real estate photos. I could see the real beauty, Looking at the grow house felt dark and sad. Hope your doing well and your kittys to!
This is absolutely a beautiful home even though they trashed and destroyed the inside.I bet it was beautiful in the beginning of her life. Thanks for bringing us the best videos😍
What a was of a quirky, beautiful home.
Never seen a triple trough before.
Garden is beautiful,
Even though the garden is overgrown.
The realestate pics are amazing, look at how light & bright it is.
Hi Paul, nice house hate it was mess with but still nice. Love that yard beautiful thanks for the tour. Say hi to Michael for me. See you on the next one.
Cheers Patricia :-)
First thought: Paul makes it exciting today but then I saw the reason. So the electricity costs must have been enormous. And just because hashish was grown there now, does the house have to be demolished? It still looks in great shape so far. And this garden! I love this overgrown, pure nature.👍
Hi Ulrike :-) The home could easily be cleaned up and fixed but I suspect they want to try cash in on the land now.
@@urbexindigo5164 There is more money to be made with the land. Typical! If I were rich, I would buy up old houses, renovate them and rent them out. I think that's how I make more money in the long run. 🤔
The outside is gorgeous! To me, the house doesn't look too bad. To be honest, I have lived in worse, at one time, instead of weed it was cats and lazy slobs who did nothing to clean, and it was a mobile home. The 'bones' of the house still look, to me, decent. I could see someone renovating it. The floors don't look too warped, considering the humidity the grow lab may have needed. I spent a year in a house that was built in the mid 1800s that had similar dark woodwork.
If this house was in the US, I'm pretty sure someone would buy it to renovate. I really enjoyed watching this video!
There's enough copper in those cords to make some money off of.
Wish our Bears Breeches (Acanthus mollis) would grow like this home's did! Amazing home....
I grew up in south Florida and our entire 1960's home had terrazzo floors. It was so great on a hot day to walk around barefooted. And i love this houses quirky fireplaces. Its sad what has happened to this home.
A very unique home! Very sad they completely ruined it. I Wish It could be saved. The yard is awesome.
Hello Paul and Michael once again another great home destroyed it is such a shame to see a beautiful house go this way love from upstate New York
What a waste! Really cool house with so much character! I think it could be cleared out, cleaned up ,& restored 🤔.
Incredible a private home has terrazzo floors! Beautiful home. Sad it fell into disrepair.
That was a beautiful home at one time
Urbex Indigo thanks my friend for sharing this video with me about Abandoned- Unique Arts and Crafts Bungalow with a surprise plot twist! it was a real shame this house was wasted using it for the wrong reasons and i am from the U.S.A and i will always enjoy your channel and God Bless
I didn't see any foundation are structure damage. I agree truly a shame. What a beautiful haven.
Wow! I love this channel. I love exploring and I love character homes. These old joints are filthy expensive to get ur hands on, the blocks are going for millions which puts most of us out of the running, hence knock over and redevelop. I'm in Adelaide too and this joint like thousands of others are rented out for many many years with no maintenance till they are thrashed out and sold off for mega dollars. This had to be a bust, it's the cops that do AloT of damage, see the lights all chopped off at head height. Yea the growers do some damage, but originally, was probably fairly neat in there. Sad to watch the demo guys come in, this block will be clear in 2 days...
@jazmuzz8423 welcome to the channel, thanks for watching :-) You are right about these places going for mega bucks!!!
I thought it was a grow house the minute you first walked in the door and the pot shaped bags were in the corner. Incidentally i also spotted a contraption for teaching show dogs to stack in that first store room on the shelf on the left.
Beautiful! The house is great and the grounds are gorgeous. So sad the house is coming down. The mature trees and shrubs more likely will be leveled. I went to a house in E. TN. That the owner had the house built around the mature trees. They only removed enough to build on. The house looked like it had been there for a long time. I mentioned you to my daughter and her boyfriend. They invited me for dinner and my daughter told me the bathroom was down the hall. She said it was pink. The house was given to her boyfriend who grew up in it. I immediately said omg I have to see this. I rounded the corner and their it was. Pink tile with black accents. The tub was recessed in a archway. The updates made were the sink and toilet but everything else stayed the same. The tiny floor tiles were pink too. I was so tickled and they laughed how I was so excited seeing a none boring bathroom. I guess they just don't get it. ;)
Hi Debra :-) Haha, yes that bathroom must be a classic! Glad you appreciate these things. It is amazing that I have gone from not really to very much so after starting filming these old homes. It went from snooping around abandoned homes to now trying to document as much of these vintage interiors and exteriors as possible :-) Cheers for the support
What a charming little house, looked like it just needed yarn work to make it move-in ready.....so sad they trashed it.
Those amazing hardwood floors destroyed. 😭
I honestly thought the cellar would be larger.
DEFINITELY like the yard better all lush & green.
It was beautiful
Hello Paul, As soon as I saw the black barrels I thought it's a grow house. The growers picket that house because it was well hidden and they could come and go as they please without being seen. The photos at the end were great it gave a better look at the home and how it was. Thanks again Paul
Medicinal cannabis, I take it for pain. The medicos take the good stuff out before it gets to me. The operation in this video must've been extraordinary. The growers bypassed the power meter with all that cabling & must have known what they were doing not get electrocuted. Another great outing, mate. Love your work!!!
Hi Paul, hi Michael. I always feel safer for you, Paul, when you have someone with you on your explores. Beautiful home, at one time, and yard. I love this channel and all your content you put out for us house explorer lovers, so "Thanks" from Canada.👍👀👋
I agree sometimes I wonder about safety
Hi LavenderLilac :-) Thanks for the support and for watching. Glad you are enjoying these video, many more to come :-)
Eu amo este canal.
Um beijão aqui do Brasil.❤
Nice home, loved the stonework!
First i saw the circular irrigation pipes then the piled up fertilizer in the toilet/ laundry then no!!! Its a grow house......
Just how do people in a particular suburb like this not realise. How to wreck a lovely home though.
I should have waited till the end of the video to comment. The "before" pics just make it all the more sad. I wish I could afford to live in a house like this was...
Another great video Paul, thanks. Looking forward to the next one. 😊
They could have taken all that money and energy and used it to turn the garage into their grow operation and left the house alone like normal stoners!😋 What a beauty it was at one time.
It is sad that homes like this get distroyed and abandoned. Then torn down.
It sure is VDOVOODOO * thnk you for watching :-)
That house looks like one, that was demolished 35 years ago near me, we purchased the corrugated iron from the roof. It is 35m x 2m side fence still going strong.
Also it's a pity they dont let garden clubs in before demolishion, to save the plants, some maybe rare.
Hi Jenny 😊 Cheers for sharing, glad you saved some of the materials. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
I like this home a lot… well before those nuts turned it in to a grow house. That yard was fantastic!!
The cellar is a root cellar for potatoes, carrots and jarred goods. It’s a bloody good pantry for a home cook haha…
Beautiful home and yard at one time, I'm sure. Such a shame to ruin a home like that. Thanks Paul and, cheers ! ☮️
It sure is Jana, thank you for watching :-)
Excellent find mate ,, love to know what happened,, maybe comments will reveal in the future. Thanks buddy.
Cheers mate :-) Yeah I cant go in to any more detail unfortunately. Not yet :-)
ono shame shame such abeutafull place gota way
Wow what a pity it's been ruined.I would have loved a house like that from the real estate pics
When you was outside I couldn’t understand why someone would leave this place abandoned. It is so beautiful. It could be fixed up and be beautiful all over again though
19:27 that’s what I was wondering. I was getting ready to ask you about it
Those gardens are beautiful
Great house and garden. Pity about it's ending.
power u bet$$$$
The garden must have been beautiful at one time. I hope someone can dig up the plants before they’re run over.
I would have loved to buy. It still could be repaired.
Definitely can be restored, prob needed a restoration anyway. Now is the time. Cheers Jenna :-)
Such sinful wanton destruction of that beautiful home. 😡 The extreme vandalism alone should put someone away for a very long time. I’m so glad that the US is on the road towards total legalization of cannabis. It’s a good thing because grow houses are on the wane. 😊 Also, there’s a lot of taxes flowing in for important projects that may get done if the politicians would stop fighting.
yes, It's hard to know that the house is going to go, but the whole yard as well, such cool plants. Where are all those birds going to go? And what's the penalty for growing weed in Australia?
first offence is a slap on the wrist. Depends how much you are caught with lol
I agree...some very interesting plants. Would have been gorgeous in its day.
If I were a neighbor, and the house IS razed, I’d buy up the lot in a heartbeat and annex it to my own yard before anyone could build on it. So pretty and absolutely sinful what was done to the house.
Neat house, beautyful parcel of land,. What a shame it had to be torn down.
I kind of figured that whenever I seen the containers in one of the other rooms what a way to mess up a beautiful house nice video thank you guys
Glad you liked it Rita, cheers for watching :-)
Thanks Paul for the journey
Good morning,, let’s begin 👍
Such a disturbing discovery of a unique late 1920s Bungalow that was unfortunately left for ruin as an illegal grow house. The 1980s mission brown window alterations did no justice to the original characteristics of the Bungalow and would have done justice to have restored back to formal glory.
Cheers Julz. :-) Yes will keep posted on what happens here.
Would of loved to have lived there, such a shame
Thanks, Paul ... such a disappointment to see what has happened to this house. Once it was a loved home and now a sad end to what I think would have been a happy past.
Cheers Ken :-) A perfect opportunity to have it fully restored now I say.
Loving this house
Hey Anna :-) Thanks for the support and watching
I'm surprised they didn't burn the house down with all that electric work. It was a nice house until the growers got a hold of it. What a shame.
I would think it would be hard to hide the excessive power usage for the grow operation. Really like the exterior, with all the stonework, and the windows.
Damn what a shame … this saddens me to see. They destroyed this home.
I love the yard. I live in the country and is also private. No neighbor's near. I can never understand why people like to distroy.
To make $$$$
The yard is beautiful I can just imagine how it would look!It looks like the druggies forgot to water their crap that is a lot of wasted product lol good! Serves them right!
Sad, but this one's time to go has come. Not worth saving. Lovely lot, though, with bird of paradise and all those blooming plants.
Looks to have been a beauty. The outside kind of looked like an island home with all the green plants etc.Thank you Paul.👍❤️🇺🇸
👍☺
what a shame at least the garden is still nice
Lol I was going to say I’ll take all the plants till I realised what the home was used for. Such a real shame.
Thank you 🙏
Haha Sue yes I guess they figured this setting was ideal for growing more plants! :-) Cheers for watching
@@urbexindigo5164 lol 😂 definitely 💯
Yes! The plants outside were beautiful! If I lived nearby I would try to save those huge elephant ear plants, at the very least.
Ah, I know this home. It was built in 1917 and was designed by F. W. Dancker & Son, among the best residential designers in South Australia during the 20th century. All those feature elements, fireplaces etc, were custom designed by architect Eric Phillipps Dancker. A shame to see it in such poor condition.
