I cannot believe I stumbled on this!! This is the home of my great grand aunt. I never knew until you mentioned who built it and the "Steinkamp Cafe" ! I have lived in Little Rock all my life and don't remember seeing this house! If only I had a million to save it!! Thank you so much for showing me a place where my family history occurred. I hope someone with lots of money and vision buys it and loves it.
You wouldn't need even half a million! Maybe you should consider it? At $154,000 asking you could get it for less, fix at your own pace. What a treasure it is, & a very wise investment too.
@mfredcourtney, I hope you're the new owner__how cool would that be?!!! You might have taken equity out of your present home for the down payment, restored it over some time and kept it in your family. If I had $350,000 to purchase a house I would have jumped on this one__I wouldn't have minded doing the cleaning this house needs to bring it around, just gotta have some good tools/supplies. I was thinking the same thing but I'm moving close to 80 and even if I had the money, I don't have the strength. It makes me so sad because the Arts and Crafts type home is my favorite. I'm hopeful that this home will find the owner she deserves.❤️
Same here! I’m 77 now. But oh I’d love to fix this sweet home! Maybe a group of us older dreamers should get together and form a consortium wherein we pitch in funds, hire some young folk to do the work, and split the profits. Sounds good to me anyway! 👍🏼

I'm in the opposite position in that I want to restore my Craftsman home and keep the original charm and features but many contractors will offer to upgrade the house with modern features. I'm getting the underside of the eaves repaired and repainted, for example, and a contractor said I really should install metal or vinyl soffits to the roof. Craftsman style roofs have open eaves and exposed rafter tails but no soffits. I just kinda chuckled and said I'd consider his quote to be polite but I knew I definitely wasn't gonna hire that guy.
Someone built this house with so much love. You can tell by all of the attention to detail and all of the little extras that they didn't have to spend money on, but they did. It's a lovely arts and crafts. It's pretty close to mine here in Texas and I can tell you these houses are so well constructed that they stay warm in winter and because of the thick walls they stay cool in summer. I'm so surprised at all of the features that they included. Now would be the time to snap it up under asking. If you check the price history on the listing, it was $209,000 but is $50K off that now and I'd go in with a cash offer of $135,000.
I have lived in the Midwest all my life, and when I see a home like this, I see a home designed before air conditioning, designed to protect the family from the extreme cold, heat and storms that the Midwest can see. To be fair, when the weather is beautiful, it's extremely beautiful. Frank Lloyd Wright homes have the same sheltering look.
Once back in the mid 1950's my Aunt said, Why do we have to go to that God forsaken place ? Her husband worked for The Missouri Pacific Railroad. She's been here since. They settled in a house in the Argenta area, of North Little Rock, the house I remember most, was built in the 1880's and put on the Historic Registry in the 1980's . I couldn't afford to buy the one in the video, But would love to see it fixed up. My house was built in the 1950's. Me and my brother own it, now that our parents are dead.
A stunner! Wish local historical societies did a better job of protecting these architectural gems. I even heard that an employee of the Oregon Historical Society was tasked with destroying old pictures of Portland's historical architecture...absolutely criminal. Thanks for all you do to record this beautiful architecture
What a travesty! Why would anyone do that? A doctoral student in any of several fields would give his/her first born to study them for a dissertation. Do you know if they've already been destroyed?
@@bjdefilippo447 That I don't know, but those who have tracked some down had an incredibly hard time finding them. Fortunately some do exist but you won't find them at The Historical Society
This house is amazing! I hope someone who appreciates the craftsmanship of this house will really do their homework to bring it back to it's original glory.
My dream was to have a Art n Craft home but unfortunately at 72 n a widow n not best health my dream is shot. If I was 20ty yrs younger I’d snap this beautiful house up in a heart beat. I was so amazed how huge it was. It’s a shame that much of the oak woodwork has been painted but in time that can be fixed. Loved everything about this gorgeous house. I so appreciate it when you share many of these forgotten houses that many only need some attention n love. 😊♥️👍👍👍👍🌟
My brother-in-law had a very nice well built house. He rented it out while he was stationed in Germany. The renters painted original knotty line paneling and cabinets with purple deck paint. Took there washer and dryer and put it on the outside porch where it took a lot of abuse and was rusted when he returned home. Some people have no respect for nice wood. I can't stand to see a beautiful piece of furniture reduced to a kitchsey chalk painted abomination.
This house is absolutely incredible. To see it all back down to the natural wood and a gorgeous 20's style kitchen would be incredible. I see it in my brain.
You know.... I've been eyeballing this house for about a week and half now. I actually found your channel trying to do research on "fixing up an old home" (something along those lines) in thoughts of this house SPECIFICALLY. Your Victorian renovation is something that I've been watching (on the 4th episode) which started a year ago.... and would you look at this. I DID NOT expect to see this home on your channel. I don't know if that is luck, fate or just a really big coincidence. This home scares me...hahaha. It is such a HUGE commitment and I just don't know where I stand. I appreciate you both though! Beautiful video! especially since I'm not just able to pop in and look at it. I'm currently in CA
It’s a sign that you NEED to buy this house! I am pretty down to earth in my thinking, don’t believe in superstitions or burn sage lol. But I do believe in signs. If you DO buy it, please make a UA-cam channel and record the progress. I LOVE this house!
A tiny, common three bedroom cement block house sells for upward of $250k in Jacksonville, FL. My mouth almost hit the floor when I heard the price of this magnificent home!
I wonder if you will ever get the opportunity to revisit these homes and show what progress was made or done to them. It would be neat to see before and after tours some day.
This is actually really well priced . Houses like this cost anywhere from half to a million in Australia and they still need fixing . Australia is overpriced in houses and currently going through a crisis . Maybe I need to move 😅. New subscriber and love this channel ❤
My grandmother lived across the street at 2020. I spent a lot of time in this neighborhood. This home was carefully maintained during my childhood, and would be outstanding for a younger family interested in preserving an historic treasure. From the information on this video, it sounds like homes in this area hav e already sold for stunning prices. All best wishes!
This is a once in a lifetime dream home to me. I would love to see it after a true restoration. WOW. So much beauty and warmth waiting to be brought back.
Beautiful! Please show us the “After” when some brave soul has restored this treasure. I’m retired in Seattle with my own Batchelder fireplace and too rooted here to embark on your adventure, but I want to cheer you on!
I guess I’m impressed by the caliber of the squatters. They made a fire in the middle of the room but they didn’t randomly destroy things in the house. If someone from the Our Restoration Nation community buys this house, will they get to hang out with you when you’re in town? That alone might be worth the price of this house! Honestly, this a potential stunner!🌸
Many, many years ago, a family from Vietnam were sponsored to live in the US. They were offered a nice home in a nice neighborhood. No one thought to ask or show them how to use modern appliances. Stove / oven. So they built a contained fire in the middle of the kitchen floor damaging the floor. We as Americans take so much for granted. I learned how blessed I am from traveling the world for work. Clean air, safe water, trash pick up. Many things.
I looked at this house in the 90's. It was the start of the big push to restore the beautiful historic homes in the Quapaw Quarter. I loved the home then and still love this gorgeous home.
I live in California where historic homes can fetch over a million dollars and that's if it's a fixer-upper. This home is huge and so, so stunning. I love the floor plan, hardwood floors, charm, and character. I hope it sells and the new owner restores it to its original glory.
Except that the host said during the beginning of the video, that restored houses in the same neighborhood, the " historic Quapaw Quarter", are selling between a half -million to a million dollars. Now, there may have been a period of time in the past where the neighborhood was changing for the worse, however thankfully, judging by the real estate prices, the neighborhood seems to have pulled out of it.
Fantastic house. That’s the house of a lifetime. We are restoring a 1900 house. It’s a total hassle to have to redo woodwork, electric plumbing asbestos but every once in a while including watching videos like this I remember that I really love this place
That's exactly my thoughts seeing this video. I've revitalized and restored a 1925 house for 16 years in Amsterdam NY mostly myself with a super tiny budget and just finished all of the inside work. It was overwhelming at times yet I look at it now and so happy I kept going and can enjoy it now.
I bought it!!! because I just couldn't walk away. As a matter of fact this is the second Restoration Nation Home I bought. The first is the Prairie style Mansion in Helena. Which is also a fantastic house...which will soon be for sale. I plan to create a channel to bring you along for the journey.
I love the purple bathroom suite! I’d keep it if possible. My Auntie had the minty green suite in her house. She had matching towels and curtains. I loved going to her house. We had the generic white ones.
If seen a lot of wild colors in bath fixtures, mostly from the 50's - 70's, but I have never seen purple. I would definitely say that it a keeper since it is both quite unique and part of the history of the house.
OH MY!! This house is simply AMAZING!! Even with all the work that needs to be done, it's gorgeous. I love, love, love Arts & Crafts/Craftsman/Mission style homes. The woodwork and built-ins are so incredible! And EACH of those huge vessel tubs is absolutely beautiful and worth saving! As you stated, they just need to be reglazed. I know personally that those types of tubs are great for a good, long, hot soak. The water stays very warm for a long time because, generally, these tubs are cast iron with a porcelain enamel finish. This house SO deserves to be lovingly restored and brought back to her original glory!! Someone that understands and appreciates this type of home NEEDS to buy this house and RESTORE, not tear out and destroy all the historical elements of this home! If I had the money, I'd do it because this is literally a dream home to me!! Thank you for showing this house. I wish the tour was more extensive because there were quite a few things y'all didn't show. Even though I can't buy it, I'd LOVE to see it in person and tour it. Y'all MUST make sure this house doesn't fall into the wrong hands and all the original beauty, charm, and warmth gets stripped from her!
What a gorgeous house! If I were younger.... We have a 1922 Sears Honor Bilt Del Rey Bungalow with a few of these features, and I have decided that Arts and Craft houses from the '20s are totally my style. How I hope someone really goes for total restoration on it. Maybe you could do an update some time in the future if that happens.
OMG! I wish I had the money!!! THIS is the kind of house I've always wanted!!! A fixer upper in PERFECT condition for its age, with tons of space and gorgeous interiors. THIS work of art will definitely have to be a labor of love to restore. I hope whoever does restore it, allows you to revisit and show us what was done!
The first look at the house looks so much like one here where i live it was startling. Even under all the dirt and neglect this house is beautiful. Love the bookcases and transoms, french doors. I think of all the houses you have shown us this is my favorite
When I was a young boy, many years ago, the home next to me was a Mission-style home. It had been built 40 years before by the (then elderly) couple who still lived there. They did nothing whatsoever to change the house over the years so I was fortunate enough to experience and enjoy what the home was intended to look like. The room off the kitchen was referred to as a breakfast nook and not a butler's pantry. It had the same type of cupboards and even a "back" staircase coming from a landing 3/4 up which met the main staircase which went to the front hall and door. In the open area you have were some windows and the original oak table and two benches with a period light fixture over them. This room was used only for breakfast. Another door lead to the totally original kitchen, much like the one in your home. I thought this might be interesting.
for the stairs that go up and down, Some houses in Fr. Thomas Kentucky have that, My grandmothers house, from the living room in the front of you would cross through the living room to the far side of the house, and go up 4 steps to a landing, you could go down the other side to go into the kitchen, or turn and go up to the 2nd floor. Loved that house.
I can't figure out, how a house like that has not sold already? Yes, I do see the work needed - but like Laine and Kevin - WOW, do I see the potential!! I'd LOVE to bring that house back to original splendour! I love all the windows, the nooks everywhere, the details - and, oh my... That butlers pantry... 🤯🤪😍 I see it - but sadly I will never be able to take on a project 🙄 But one can dream... Imagine that house, with the repairs done, the bad additions removed, all rewired and all the woodwork stripped back, everything repaired and reinstated... A new, beautiful kitchen, made to look original. A cozy breakfast nook. Some custom, colourful stained glass, strewn all across the house... Landscaping all done, and just the sun, beaming through all of those windows.... 😍
I would so love to see an "after" video of this house with so much potential. The details are exquisite and I wanted to wipe off the dirt on that mural above the fireplace so badly! Thanks for highlighting what a treasure this house is!
Those stairs are also in my grandmothers house. They are Morning Stairs. You use them to go to the kitchen or breakfast dining room in the morning. The room that is the butlers pantry probably is a combo pantry breakfast dining room. The table goes by all of the windows. Grandmothers maid did not go up and down to answer the front door. The walked through the dining room or back hall. She did use the morning stair to go upstairs.
This beauty of a home needs a young family with 3--4 kids to bring back enthusiasum and laughter. Kids running thru the doors and dogs rushing after them. If only my husband and I were 35 years younger you would have to fight us for first crack at this house! What potential and opportunity. We have a very similar home locally and it too is built on a corner, all the better to appreciate all the sunny exposures. The owners have gradually upgraded the home and seeing it lit for Christmas is just amazing. I see the corner yard and think of the mixed garden that would compliment the home. And I just imagine how she would look lit for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and any other holiday. And the huge porch just cries out for comfortable seating and friends. I will be dreaming about this one for months!
I love seeing subway tile and hex flooring. When I had my 1960s bathroom redone I had white subway with black trim and black and white hex...never goes out of style
This is such an amazing Arts & Crafts era home! What really struck me was the generous size of the place, and the integrity of the craftsmanship. In California the A&C bungaloes were really popular in the era, and many had stained glass incorporated into the windows and interiors. It's a shame that all of the woodwork has been painted chalky white, which would have originally been mahogany stained I'm assuming. Love all of the textured brick, and unusual bays of windows... I can imagine how beautiful this house was once with the copper light fixtures, and A&C furnishings. Hope it's new owners revive it's unique spirit and restore the place instead of modernizing everything (like a 'tract' house🙄).... 🙏💛🍀
I live in the UK and love the Arts & Crafts era....whoever purchases this house will surely reap rewards and much satisfaction after bringing it back to its former glory. I'm envious already
What a beautiful house and it is amazing that it still has so many original features. The upstairs is huge and could be fantastic. Thanks for sharing another house with us.
Don't we all wish we could just pick up this beautiful, neglected, marvelous home & pluck it down where we live?! Ha. What a wonderful house for any family (that includes couples: I consider them a family) to call home. Love it
Our first house was built in 1921 and it was a fixer-upper. We had no idea what we were doing, but we learned! We’re still using those skills on our current home, campers, furniture… I wish we could take on this beautiful house you’ve shown! 🥰
Oh my Lord, I LOVE THIS HOUSE!! Its just sooo unique, & huge! I love this arts & crafts style. Never thought I could love any style more than Second Empire or Victorian, or Greek Revival, but I'm in love. We have plenty of these Arts & Crafts beauties in Charlotte, NC; mostly already restored or remodeled. I wish I could tour them all, so thank goodness for your channel! Thank you for this one, it was just amazing 🤩🏡😍
@@deniseunterman9652 Please learn the meaning of "unwanted", as in keeping your unwanted comments to yourself since you obviously have zero sense of humor.
You are very knowledgeable about preservation challenges and solutions, and you know that these challenges often require very little work to repair. Thanks for a very good tour. You are truly a preservation professional. I've been in this field for 60 years, and I know a real professional when I 'meet' one!
What a beautiful house this will be when renovated. Only hope that whoever buys this house has children to fill it with lots of laughter and memories. Wish it was me.
Great video! I especially like the sound work and the even pans that let us understand that complicated juncture between the kitchen and service spaces and the ground-floor bedrooms. You let the house speak for itself in those moments. You've highlighted a treasure and I would like to think that your thoughtful work attracts a buyer sensitive to the property's extraordinary beauty. It does look like the house had an interesting second life around 1970, and thanks for highlighting that too. A note to my Southeastern friends: of course you know that those "go up to go down" stairs in the kitchen were for the servants! They permit discreet movement between the kitchen and the second floor without disturbing activities in the main public space. The servants may well have slept upstairs in rooms too hot for use in pre-a/c Little Rock summers. Thanks so much for your work!
In my early 20's I bid on a house similar to this. Gorgeous on the outside, pretty rough on the inside. My parents flipped houses as a side gig, so I would have had reliable advice to help through the years-long renovation that would have been required. The worst decision a previous owner had made was to install an HVAC in the landing to the stairs going up, and then drywall off the rest of the stairs. We broke through and were shocked to see it had a decent second floor with hardwood floors. But wow. The seller wouldn't come down in price, and I had already bid the maximum I was approved for by a bank, so that was the end of my dream reno scenario.
Wow, I was so impressed by just how much space there is inside. It's a lot of house n deserving of the most wonderful family who will love it n carefully restore n update it as needed. It's beautiful. Just beautiful..
Wow! such beauty and only $154000 ? I wish I lived nearby. Im in Alberta Canada but my favourite styles are Arts & Crafts, Mission and Frank Lloyd Wright homes so this one is truly a gem in my eyes. I agree it would be well worth the time energy and cash to restore such terrific home. Thanks for sharing. Kenneth
I’ve been following you on Instagram from almost day one! I didn’t know you had a UA-cam channel! Thank you for bringing these homes back… THE RIGHT WAY!!!! you two deserve a television show! People need to see the right way to do an actual restoration! I also love that you appreciate the small details and history that comes with the houses ❤️
I love this style of home. This was obviously once a very beautiful home. I see a home like this with all the original details and it feels like one that Brett Waterman could make beautiful again.
My allergies are acting up just watching this video. Lol. What a beautiful home. Older homes are my favourite. So much love and attention was put into them.
Really awesome home very solid and you could call it is built like a fortress I found a solid brick walls the quality of the window of the hardwood floors and the clay tile roof and then all the gorgeous architectural details inside. This is truly a gem
Wow! What a fabulous place...so much of the original left intact. Those lavender bath fixtures...never, ever have I seen that color before. Huge place, so much potential. I was disappointed that the kitchen had been stripped tho...was hoping to see a double drain board cast iron sink and an ironing board closet. But...the rest of the house is a winner. Too bad it's in Arkansas or I'd buy it tomorrow.
Well since this popped up again and craftsmen style houses are my favorite, I watched it again. This house is incredible! I can see in my mind that kitchen redone. I hope this beauty gets some lovin’ from a big family!
Gosh! Wish I was 20 yrs younger & had the money. I see the potential & hope someone respectfully restores this beauty. My heart is sad it wont be me. Thank you!
They say homes have a soul and this home's soul spoke to me. I so wish LR was a reasonable relocation for me because I would ABSOLUTELY invest in this amazing home to bring it back to it's 1920's glory. Its within my budget but it's just too much of a relocation risk for me.... sigh... I do hope this lovely home gets a new owner who will appreciate and restore it's amazing original features. We just don't build homes like this any longer, what a gem.
I cannot believe that squatters would try to start a fire in the middle of a wooden floor. That is a fantastic home and I hope some young couple restorz-it and I can see children running around all over that place. Thanks for sharing this video.
Such a landmark quality house from the bones to the cladding to the spectacular transoms and the fine finishes extant. As an architect, it is achingly waiting for some skilled love and resources but it would take more than a bit of both. We renovated a 1926 Spanish Colonial Revival in CA about 1/3 this size but with equally fine details, even a Batchelder tile fireplace. It is a labor of love but you end up living in comfortable masterpiece.
This house is absolutely stunning! Yes, it needs a lot of work, but its beauty is still shining through. I hope whoever restores it puts in a period appropriate kitchen. I wish I had the money!
This house is so gorgeous that it makes my chest tighten up with excitement and hope. My fiance told me recently - in no uncertain terms - that we are not living in a construction zone. Someone will be happy there someday.
Beautiful 😍. Kinda close to my idea of my dream home. But way beyond my resources and I really wouldn’t want to leave my beloved PNW. I hope she gets the owner she deserves and they restore her to all her former glory.
This house is a jewel, perfect for multi-generation family or, say, three retired best friends. Reasonable price, and Little Rock is in a great location in the US: perfect soils, spring water, grand terrain, four-season weather, Amtrak to east and west; plus only a 3-hour drive to the exceptional Crystal Bridges art museum. Wish I lived in Little Rock....
That is one beautiful house ! Solid, strong. Who ever gets it , I hope you restore it back to former glory. I have always wanted to restore one. Going on 67, I would love to help, if I lived closer. So few of these left, a part of American history. Take good care of her.
What a shame this house was left to deteriorate. I hope it’s rescued and restored. I recognized the Batchelder tiles right away. I really like the transom windows.

The whole neighborhood!!!! Not just the street your on !
@@nothing2seehere34 Maybe for a horse and carriage? Not sure if this house was built a little late for that use or not.
The green roof! Awesome
These homes aren’t cheap to buy in any condition. Would be nice to restore one.

Right!? the bricks on that front porch wall look NEW
I live in a similar neighborhood. Houses built to a high standard in 1905-1930 were built to last forever. The crews were very skilled.

I love Arts & Crafts homes, the workmanship is so much better than the homes put up today. It's so sad people painted that lovely woodwork!
Yes. Don't paint wood trim or brick
im from nebraska...and no one paints woodwork....I moved to georgia a long time ago everyone painted woodwork white,
@@otto1630 I haven't YET lol I'm in Georgia.
At least it's something that can be reversed. A good heat gun makes that not that difficult to remove & restore.
My mom would have had a heart attack to see all the painted woodwork. She spent years taking all of the painted woodwork in our house off!
Please, no one, come and gut this and fill it with Lowe's 2023!!! I really hope someone buys this who can appreciate it for the precious original gem that it is.

Wow what a home!
AGREE 🌼
😊♥️👍👍👍👍🌟
Thank God they didn't burn the house down! Well wishes and years of health and happiness to the next owners.
Any home that had a fire in the floor but didn’t burn down deserves a second chance.
Only a certifiable idiot would set a fire on a wood floor
Its always going to be more extensive than you think and going to take a lot more work
someone painted the all the woodwork
My brother-in-law had a very nice well built house. He rented it out while he was stationed in Germany. The renters painted original knotty line paneling and cabinets with purple deck paint. Took there washer and dryer and put it on the outside porch where it took a lot of abuse and was rusted when he returned home. Some people have no respect for nice wood. I can't stand to see a beautiful piece of furniture reduced to a kitchsey chalk painted abomination.
@@lynnerodgers4461 I would have hunted them down and sued them. That is sacrilege!
That is a big coincidence. There are so many for sale in that area. And I agree, it’s a big house so it will be a lot of work.
It’s a sign that you NEED to buy this house! I am pretty down to earth in my thinking, don’t believe in superstitions or burn sage lol. But I do believe in signs. If you DO buy it, please make a UA-cam channel and record the progress. I LOVE this house!
Is this home in Crestline, Ohio?
@@teresadragstream8648 this is in Little Rock AR
A tiny, common three bedroom cement block house sells for upward of $250k in Jacksonville, FL. My mouth almost hit the floor when I heard the price of this magnificent home!
I wonder if you will ever get the opportunity to revisit these homes and show what progress was made or done to them. It would be neat to see before and after tours some day.
♥️ Brilliant idea. I’d love to see that.
This is actually really well priced . Houses like this cost anywhere from half to a million in Australia and they still need fixing . Australia is overpriced in houses and currently going through a crisis . Maybe I need to move 😅. New subscriber and love this channel ❤
@what1dreamt,
I had the same thought, particularly, with this house! 💖😺
THIS! This house! Truly a gem! I can picture it all restored. It's a diamond in the rough.
😂😂😂Thanks Deborah. The problem is we’re never in town. 🤣😀
Agree…
Many, many years ago, a family from Vietnam were sponsored to live in the US. They were offered a nice home in a nice neighborhood. No one thought to ask or show them how to use modern appliances. Stove / oven. So they built a contained fire in the middle of the kitchen floor damaging the floor. We as Americans take so much for granted. I learned how blessed I am from traveling the world for work. Clean air, safe water, trash pick up. Many things.
@@lindatexter7162 you are absolutely right, Linda.🌸
I'm wondering if they over loaded the fireplace and a couple of the logs rolled out into the room?
I looked at this house in the 90's. It was the start of the big push to restore the beautiful historic homes in the Quapaw Quarter. I loved the home then and still love this gorgeous home.
Hows Quapaw now?
yep, sellen the slum to YT and it works...location location out the window.
I live in California where historic homes can fetch over a million dollars and that's if it's a fixer-upper. This home is huge and so, so stunning. I love the floor plan, hardwood floors, charm, and character. I hope it sells and the new owner restores it to its original glory.
@Cryptolady,
I am in Southern CA and agree with your price point, except the size of the property would be nowhere near this size! 😛
This house DESERVES certified, historical, restoration and nothing less. I wonder if the original plans can be found?
The bars and security screens on all of the lower windows tells me everything I need to know about what happened to this neighborhood.
That was my thought too
Except that the host said during the beginning of the video, that restored houses in the same neighborhood, the " historic Quapaw Quarter", are selling between a half -million to a million dollars. Now, there may have been a period of time in the past where the neighborhood was changing for the worse, however thankfully, judging by the real estate prices, the neighborhood seems to have pulled out of it.
Yes, it reminds me of my aunt's beautiful home in Detroit. So sad to see it go for free. She had to leave for her safety.
Unfortunately!!
Whoever buys this needs to agree to show all of us the “after”!!,❤
I plan to creaTE A UA-cam CHANNEL TO DO JUST THAT

This old girl can be glorious again! The butler's pantry and all the fab windows - my favorite details!
Really Duane??? Please reach out to us via our website- we’d love to chat with you!!!
We’re so glad you picked up this gorgeous property!!! It needs a little more work than the last one but it will be worth it.
Oh my goodness, I would LOVE to follow you on this journey! Please let us know when you start posting it……..
Did you ever start work and post on this?
I love the Helena house and this one is a close second.
Oh my, that home is gorgeous. How I wish I was American. That Grand Dame needs to be restored.
What a beautiful house! 😍 I can already picture it fully restored and it will be amazing! I think I’d keep that purple bathroom though, what a look!!
I LURVE the purple bathroom!
a house in my hometown had those same purple fixtures in the bath. if memory serves, that house was renovated in the late '60s-early 70s.
I love the purple bathroom suite! I’d keep it if possible. My Auntie had the minty green suite in her house. She had matching towels and curtains. I loved going to her house. We had the generic white ones.
My house had the purple and I love purple but I very quickly got tired of it! I took it all out.
Wish we could see yours.
If I won the lottery this house would be my dream come true. Why would anyone build new when they can own an exquisite piece of history?
What a gem! As a proud owner of my ancestral Sears & Roebuck Catalog Home ‘The Windsor’, I truly appreciate the beauty of this Arts & Crafts Home.
There are so many beautiful original details. They'll really shine once this is restored. Beautiful house!
for the stairs that go up and down, Some houses in Fr.
Wowza wow wow! This house is a beauty! This is one of my favorite styles of architecture. Thank you guys for the tour!
Oh my gosh. I so love this property. If I was younger, I'd JUMP on it. This place is my love language!!
This was and can be a stunner, just stunning and you could not pay for such work today. It needs to be restored.
@Crystal Clear,
YES, stained glass windows and mahogany wood throughout__TOTALLY!! 💖😺
Apparently, though, [they] chose oak for this house. 😛
Beautiful! I'd love to see it, again, once it's all restored.
That is stunning. It's huge.
I live in the UK and love the Arts & Crafts era....whoever purchases this house will surely reap rewards and much satisfaction after bringing it back to its former glory. I'm envious already

Yes. It sold within days of this video to one of our viewers that had purchased another of the homes we’d featured
We’re still using those skills on our current home, campers, furniture…
I wish we could take on this beautiful house you’ve shown! 🥰

Maybe the walls can't talk but that bookcase door certainly said 'hello!' 😂👻

The tile roof, alone, has me SWOOOOOOONING
So much potential and charm ❤
No yard. That's a big deal breaker. Gorgeous home though! The features are amazing and the layout is grand!
We've been fixing up our 1925 craftsman bungalow, we're working on the fireplace, its been our baby for almost 25 year's, raised our three children ❤.
Wow! such beauty and only $154000 ? I wish I lived nearby. Im in Alberta Canada but my favourite styles are Arts & Crafts, Mission and Frank Lloyd Wright homes so this one is truly a gem in my eyes. I love this style of home. This was obviously once a very beautiful home. I see a home like this with all the original details and it feels like one that Brett Waterman could make beautiful again.
OMG I’m drooling for this one. What an absolute gem. I sure hope the one who takes it in shares the process.

A Porte cochere is always fascinating, especially, if the roof could talk.
Julie...the lavender bath decor was a 'sixties thing ..so the house must've been done over around '60s-'70s...I agree, too bad she's in Arkansas 🤷
Well since this popped up again and craftsmen style houses are my favorite, I watched it again. This house is incredible! I can see in my mind that kitchen redone. I hope this beauty gets some lovin’ from a big family!

I grew up in a house like this. I love them. So beautiful and so much potential.
Exactly what I was thinking, it would make a fabulous family home, with kids running around
Another D2D (dare to dream) video!!! Thank you for sharing. I pray someone sees this and can restore this beauty!!
Would love to see the after. I'm 70 and I'm sure I won't live long enough to see it. Still I want to see it in its glory !
I’m so intrigued with the rooms on the upper level. The child in me would be delighted.
