  • There was a tremolo system that could be easily installed, so I made a video of how to mount it on and played it. I hope you enjoy it!

I bought a Bixby style off Amazon and it has the extension where I have to drill 2 small holes and I was hoping it would mount through my strap holder. I been procrastinating because I still haven't mastered a lot more sounds it's capable of. It's nickel with black leather designs and it matches the cherry red color and have the original headstock and I think it's so beautiful how it matches the color. I personally like the original headstock better and it still stays in tune.

Thanks for your comment! I also hesitate to drill a hole in the guitar. I'm glad that Les Trem can be installed without any modification of the main body. Enjoy playing your beautiful favorite guitar!

The change of strings seems to be a pain in the neck with this kind of bridge. Isn't it?

    • @tessy_music
      @tessy_music  3 місяці тому +2

That's right! When changing strings, it's much easier to change them one by one instead of removing them all at once.
      Thanks for your comment!

Does the portion under the spring section have something to prevent damage to the top of the guitar? It looks like it rests right on the wood.

A thick felt fabric is already attached under the spring section. So I don't think it will damage the top of the guitar.

Is it worth it?, Does it work well? , Did the octaves tune?
    And was the experience good?

I think it's worth it. It takes time, but you can tune it to octaves. I use it on stage. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for watching! I did the maintenance of the angle of the bridge once. And it's still working fine.

I purchased this roller bridge on Amazon.
The rotation was bad, so I adjusted it and then installed it. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for watching. After shooting this video, I changed the bridge to a roller type, and now I can play more stably.

Does it fit in a guitar case? Is the bar removable?

    • @tessy_music

Thanks for your comment! The arm cannot be easily removed. This guitar fits in my soft case, but the hard case can be difficult.

I still like it and use it! However, the tuning became unstable, so I replaced the bridge with a roller type.
      Thank you!

I am sorry. But you have done it not correct respectively not complete. You NEED a roller bridge. This is not optional this is a must have with this kind of tremolo. Otherwise you will have serious tuning issues. For even more tuning stability with such or comparable tremolos it is a good idea to use locking tuners and a special lubricant for the nut (for example big Ben nut sauce or similar). If you have a SG or Les Paul Headstock (Gibson or Epiphone) a Dietrich Parts String Buttler can help even more for tuning stability.

      Thanks for your advice!
A few weeks after filming this video, I switched to a roller bridge. The performance is very stable.
