My OCD triggered! Ha! I got a Brillo pad and made it look aged to match the other hardware. Problem solved!

Nice review! I installed the same trem on a HB-35, and straight away ran into an issue - since the tremelo base is kinda floating above the guitar by 2mm (because the posts that you install into are not flash with the guitar), when I pressed it down too hard it seems to have maybe bend the posts forward a bit. Have you experience something like this?

It stays in tune great! No regrets! I got a scotch pad and roughed it up so it looks more similar to the agreed finish on the rest of the guitar.

Pretty janky packaging for a so-called "New" item, but it seems to work very well for those beautiful shimmers.

A roller bridge is the way to go. And if I’m not mistaken, that company also sells them.

@@justinbishopmusic , everything is adjustable! May take some work, but? You can straighten out the mounting holes in the guitar. Pretty easy fix. Dowels glued in, cut off, drill new holes. Wa la. Easy!!!
