For the most part I just use a standard foot, for multiple layers a walking foot is useful, and for thicker fabric don't forget to change your needle for a denim needle as they are stronger than the universal ones. Hope that helps!
I have a clear foot that has the letter K on it. I have no idea what it's for. It has a clear plastic screw on the side and has one leg shorter than the other. Also the shorter leg is a little higher. I have checked on line all over and I can't find anything that looks like it.
