I love how marathon diet vlogs are always like *OATS* + fairly normal fare but in healthy formats & high volumes. Then you watch the gym bro diet vlogs, and they’re using micro-scales to measure everything, and downing 55 experimental supplements in hopes their reps increase by 1
This might be one of the most chaotic food diary vlogs I've watched 😂As a vegetarian I obviously have some major differences to you, but it's nice to know I have a similar breakfast to an elite athlete - now to work on the skill gap lol
Phily, this vid was top tier! I love all your content, but especially this style with the randomness and humour in authentic vlog style vids. Awesome stuff! Thanks for putting this out there and for the commitment to the regular content and also to Daniel for being cameraman extraordinaire, which must be a mainly thankless task! Great work. Thank you both and keep it coming! P.S looking forward to Daniels first marathon vlog!
Hey Phily. I ran a 10K after following your 10k training plan (well... weeks 5-11 - whoops, didn't realise race day was so close). Really enjoyed it, and certainly didn't feel monotonous at all - kept things interesting throughout. Ran a 1:21 PB for the course and a 50s 10K PB.
Had me roaring with laughter from the top with the cat food, you kept me with you all the way to the IKEA checkouts. So. Many. Feels! Seriously though, great video, and it's reassuring to know that even a pro can make room in their diet for meals with friends, and IKEA meatballs. Life is all about balance, and running and one's diet are all part of that balance too.
This was entertaining. I love the light-heartedness here. Looks like you make some good choices and your diet avoids a lot of the sugary stuff. Enjoyed the video!
I did a park run yesterday. It was 8:58, I was still in bed, and got a call from a friend on the start line saying “where are you?” So I got up immediately and drove there to start 19 minutes late. Still caught up the back markers and the tail runner 😅
Loved the video. I regularly have Porridge for breakfast this time of the year though not so much in the summer. A lady from a nearby running club recently ate prunes before a long run resulting in the need for a few pit stops.
My method of oats, add to bowl, slowly add hot water from the kettle, till the oats have absorbed all the water that's added and can't absorb any more, add a spoon of peanut butter, stir in, bit of milk and snack. Also add in seeds but list too long!
Omg Philly ur absolutely bonkers 😂😂 gr8 vlog as always packed with useful and not so useful 🤣🤣 information both of which are equally as essential as each other for your truly unique video footage - stay nuts 🥜 ❤
I absolutely hate going to IKEA. Been twice this year and it made me even grumpier than normal, which, believe me, takes some doing. Loved the vlog though Phily. You have a certain je ne sais quoi , which makes you somewhat unique. I was in shock for a moment with the haircut, but it will grow on me. As it will grow on you again naturally . Fun video 😊❤
Okay, that sponsor segment though - A+ work, top-notch acting, Yummo's got their money's worth with this sponsorship! 😂Great to see that it's mostly just ... sensible food decisions, eat when you're hungry, make healthy choices 😊I think a lot of people can overcomplicate their nutrition, when mostly it's just making sure your body is fueled up and capable of doing what you need it to do. Great video as always, you two!
I usually get the old double finger tap out and skip my way through the sponsored segments coz they're such a bore. Wasn't even tempted! Probably my fave part of today's video actually 😂
Great to see that you eat normal things that anyone can buy and you are relaxed about it. I wonder, do you have any vitamins? Do you take anything during training sessions?
I feel u on the spicy food thing phily. Any advice for runners with chronic wind? I proper embarrassed myself at parkrun last Saturday accidentally letting out a liddle Tommy squeaker just as we all set off
Gotta watch out for those hot oats…they get me EVERYTIME😬🤣 Been trying to work out what is different & it hit me…then u mentioned it..your hair!! Love it! So much easier to manage, but I feel you-my hair is very much like yours & reacts the same way to being cut shorter!
Clearly not been on power of 10. Anyone who features highly on the All-time list, (44th, 27th etc etc) regardless of the multiple national selections is clearly elite. Now do shut up my good man. You're embarrassing yourself with your bitterness.

Haha I’ll take that as a compliment

"We're wild and don't drink caffeine past 2pm." (Strikes pose) 😂 you're like non stop funny. Keep up the great vids.
Best full day of eating blog ever. So fun to watch! Cheers!

This was epic.....i made the mistake of watching in quite late at night and was howling at the prunes bit!! Great stuff

This may have been the only "what I eat in a day video" I was able to watch 🤣 👌
Aha I’m glad!
Me-la-knee-sa, Milanesa it’s just fried chicken with Mexican seasoning in the breading
bircher muesli and a sprinkling of granola with almond or cashew milk + fresh fruit is the best

Would love to see more of this! Thank you Phily!
UA-cam just reccomended me this, fantastic video. Thoroughly enjoyed, look forward to seeing some more 👏
This was literally fantastic 😄
What can I say phily entertaining as always . 👍👏😀
Great to see that you eat normal things that anyone can buy and you are relaxed about it. I wonder, do you have any vitamins? Do you take anything during training sessions?
100% agree with your muesli musings and IKEA summation.
I'm gonna sit and watch this video 25,000 times just to get Phily to eat the spicy rice 😅
Haha nooooo please don’t!
1:51 😂🤣😂🤣🤓💪
I love you for this!
IKEA meatballs as well! You are fast becoming my new favourite UA-camr!! 😄
I feel u on the spicy food thing phily. Any advice for runners with chronic wind? I proper embarrassed myself at parkrun last Saturday accidentally letting out a liddle Tommy squeaker just as we all set off
Love these kind of vids!
😂 You’re so goofy. Enjoyed your video.
Absolutely no one has ever 'nipped' to IKEA have they 😂 "just popping down IKEA love, see you tomorrow"
Don’t forget that prune juice is a warrior’s drink!😂😉
“Go easy on the prunes”
That’s a lot of prunes for going easy on em!
That laugh at 11:49 is so cursed haha
love everything about this vid, more what I eats! so funny too
Can you do a video on what you eat during your marathon taper please?
Entertaining and informative!
I love ❤️ this video . I will follow your instructions
Gotta watch out for those hot oats…they get me EVERYTIME😬🤣
Been trying to work out what is different & it hit me…then u mentioned it..your hair!! Love it! So much easier to manage, but I feel you-my hair is very much like yours & reacts the same way to being cut shorter!
Phily, I have bad news for you 😂 as of now, there are 25k views on this video!! 🌶️🍚
OMG I actually tried to make my brain be okay with you eating that packet of cat food!!!! hahahaha.
Hahaha NO! 😂
Great video. Serious question 😂😂😂 how many tubs of icecream can I eat before a race and is Ben and Jerry's better than Häagen-Dazs??? 😂😂😂
Did you ever eat that spoonful of rice? (Min 5:53)
Does the bar company ship US? 🤔
only uk ☹
I should not be watching this while hungry
Anyone else thought that she was gonna make a pun at the end and say “love the rind” ?
I can't wait for you to realise it doesn't always rain In the NW haha
The 20 minute window does not exist
How many grams of oats do you have in the morning? X
The comment about prunes and runners…lol 😂😂😂😂
You are wild. Subscribing.
Is there any time that you would have alcohol?
Do you drink much tea? Also top snacks to eat with tea? This is where I stuff myself with chocolate and biscuits 😂
Brilliantly bonkers video! But are you really a vegan? 😋
I love your videos
That's it I 'm buying yummos
Did you have some Redbull at the start of this? 🤣
I still get very confused whenever I hear Brits say squash. Courgettes doesn’t seem to phase me though.
Brekkie tip: Isey Apple Skyr with low sugar granola... Like eating an apple crumble but zero guilt!
Food is medicine xx
hilarious
philly is so cute.
i did not like this video
You call yourself elite .. when looking your ranking. It isn't elite .. so why do you call yourself elite?
I run for a professional running team and I ran for Great Britain in May of this year, so I think that counts as “elite”
Clearly not been on power of 10. Anyone who features highly on the All-time list, (44th, 27th etc etc) regardless of the multiple national selections is clearly elite. Now do shut up my good man. You're embarrassing yourself with your bitterness.
@@markbooth9790 Perhaps Phily at one time did have a better ranking. So why don't you open your eyes and be realistic
