These guys might be the second best version of this band. The band with Joey, Al, Tommy and Terry will always be my favorite. I just loved the way Tommy could swing..slapping the back beat right in the ass as it went by...
The Q in all of its formations, eras, etc. never ceases to uplift! This lineup gives the institution more than its share of justice. Congratulations to us all & most grateful everlasting to/for NRBQ!

Could play, unfortunately. One of my great sadnesses is never seeing him live. As a teen in Louisville in my first band, I kept seeing things in the LEO and flyers about Steve and the Midwest Creole Ensemble. I thought it was probably "old people music" and I thought his hat was weird. Then I began seeing him around. I'd think, "there's that Creole Ensemble guy " Then he talked to me at Jon Conti coffee while I was trying to hang a flyer and he was super nice and cool and supportive. But I still didn't care enough to see him. I didn't know he was in NRBQ and they were my dad's favorite band anyways. No thanks. Now, they are my favorite band too and both dad and Steve are gone. Wish I had a time machine.
I like how this Guitarist brings his own individual virtuoso musicianship to the Q but is smart enough to not alter the patented sound of NRBQ that the original lineup laid down . Excellent !
Every live clip I’ve seen of the “newer” lineup is more than good. Always right with a whole lot in common in sound and spirit with the originals. Well done guys

Love the news guyus, but the sense of humor that the Al-Tommy version had is missing.
