Thank you very much for your review in detail. To be honest, I was surprised at the irradiation with which a wide area is covered. I wasn't too interested in distant irradiation, so I bought it in BG right away. Very pleasant.
Hmm.. Sofirn SC31 Pro with SST40 ( 2000 lumens ) or this Astrolux ST01 also with SST40 ? I hate 6.5k colour :P
My favorite flashlight channel with background music. No unnecessary chatter :D
Probably pro for me as I don't like to hold for off
Love the videos!
Has anyone ever come up to you while doing these reviews? I can only imagine peoples reactions to getting their entire house lit up at 3AM lol!
A few people get funny and a few just are curious what I'm doing, nobody knows for sure what I'm doing, they think "lamping" and not "tech reviewing!"
In your opinion, which one is better when compared to sofrin sc31 pro?
Great review as always! Really enjoy these. I'm gonna get this flashlight and it's my first. I'm looking for a battery to go with it. Will the Samsung INR21700 40T work with this or should I get the one you use in the video? Which is better if the price is close?
I can't decide what to buy. This ST01 SST40 looks very nice and is quite cheap. However I'm very into the spread, tint, CRI and so on like Convoy S21D Nichia has, then maybe Astrolux S43S LH351D. But those flashlights are much more expensive. I'm not a flashlight maniac. Just want to buy powerful, flooding, preferably with highest possible CRI and 4500-5000 K flashlight. I don't need thousands of modes etc. What to buy? Is it really worth to pay much more for Convoy or S43S?
Which one would last longer in turbo/high mode due to temperature?
Get the S21D from those 3. Best tint, beam and good runtimes
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I know. But it costs nearly twice as much with battery and charger and I'm still thinking if it is worth this double price.
@@kzyho go st01 if you prefer throw to flood
@@kzyho You said you love Flood, Hi-cri, Simple UI, no crazy lumens, Get the s21D with nichia, its worth it and tick all boxes. and if future technical problem occurs, Convoy is serviceable with lots parts/options. Battery and charger, there are many good and value options out there. Get the s21d mate. Cheers🔦
Hi mate.
This in SST40, a S21A SST40 or a Nextool 4tool ED20...?
Thank you for your time.
ST01 for me.
You are a good singer, and I like your review!
Nice review mate! I want your advice.. I will put that flashlight on top of a drone (because it's only 170gr with battery) for search and rescue.. I want to tell me which chip do you recommend?? SST40 (5000K) or XP50. 2(6500K)??
The throwing distance it will be from 60m high in angle of 70 degrees and 175metres distance.. Can you give me an advice? Also i wonder if in high mode can rich that because on turbo mode steps down (i don't know in how many lux)!
Thank you
XHP50.2 will struggle to be seen at 175m. Especially after stepdown.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV okkk.. So i would buy the SST40.. Thank you.. How much is the runtime in turbo mode?? I know it's about 30 seconds in 3000 lumens and then what?
@I.Sam35 I don't think I tested the SST40 but I expect you'll get a good 2 mins Turbo each time the light is cool enough to hold it. A sustained 600 to 1200 lm is about as good as it gets for a light this size
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thanks a lot.. Keep up the good work!
The construction looks like with Sofirn flashlights. Not the flashlight only but the package also.
Which flashlight do you think is better: sofirn sc31pro or astrolux st01 sst40? Its hard to decide which one to buy😅
Pro for me due to anduril ui and not having to hold for off.
you missed the medium lumens of the SST40 :)
It was in strobe/Sos mode during testing and I forgot to test it later 😔
Nice review as always! My ST01 6500k tint is on the way and I'm already working on getting the 5000k after watching this. Thank you.
Xhp 50.2 or sst40?
@@vladimirducar108 I got the Xhp 50.2 but I feel the tint of sst40 is better.
my friend, i measured sst40 at 340 meters and 2320 lumens. how do you get to over 400 meters. with sft40 led and reflector setting, i am at 511 meters and 2580 lumens
greetings Murat
At turn on?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV yes
Hi bro. Please help me. My st01 momentary mode cant on light when im hold the switch 😭
The tint on that SST40 looks rather nice.
Looked almost high cri to my eyes.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Judging by your video I'm almost tempted to say it might even look a little better than my Convoy S2+ LH351D 5000K.
Astrolux stepping up there game in the EDC world
Looks like they are ditching Anduril.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV After many becoming an expert with Anduril, they got soft and made it simple for the majority of the other consumers. pshhhht
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV oh noooooooo. I love the Anduril UI. I just recently taught my mom and dad, they thought it was fun!
Nice edc torch, good vid as always mate,.. is that Beef Eater encountered by Jack and Dan in the field ?...

For a $30 EDC which would you pick, ST01 or Sofirn IF25a?
For me IF25A, for someone wanting a simple to use and powerful flashlight the ST01.
Hello great product reviews
need a help for buying
can I use this product without battery? i mean directly powerbank supply
can we use that way?
because shipping battery is restricted in country
can you try and reply if possible?
Possibly but you won't get full power
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thank you for answers
can you try and able to check how lm it gives with powerbank no battery?
@@badalpetal3509 it won't work that way, I just tried it.
@@66marbor Thank you so much dear for your try and answer 😊
@@badalpetal3509 good luck to you.
Thanks for this review.
Do you have any idea if this will fit a Nitecore NL2140?
I bought it for EC03 but it wont fit.
If its a protected Battery it might not work or get the full performance
You test the flashlight astrolux st01 xhp50.2 6500k in high mode using a samsung 30T 3000 mAh battery can it reach 5 hours and can it use a samsung 40T 4000 mAh battery if possible is the time the same in high mode and the power generated.
I doubt it will reach 5 hours with a 3000mAh cell, 4000mAh will get you longer runtimes but a slight drop in power.
Are Astrolux and Mateminco the same manufacturer?
Yes. Mateminco are the parent conpany.
Hi do you have a new code please?
I would love to see how your low k lights perform in bad weather conditions compared to the high ones. Thanks for the video.
Low K perform far better in mist!
Yes, it would be nice to see the comparisons on your videos when theres bad weather. Not sure if your understanding me.
@@gonzalez7805 I could do one to be honest. It'd be interesting
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV that's a cool idea, especially for throw
Hi can fit 18650?
You might need the astrolux adaptor though if you have one
Always enjoy your videos, but im disliking the 200m throw challenge because smaller flashlights you barely notice on that building as there is plenty of light, best was that soccer pitch fully dark
Good video, review and flashlight👍
hmm.. the next torch reviews will be held at the Epping forest..
OH YEAH!!
Very nice review
Terang banget senternya.
Xhp 50 best
Thanks for the discount code, but dam i had to go and order both😢 just need another EA01S code as I gave the one I bought as a pressy, fantastic torch 😍
