My daddy would have been ecstatic to see this! He lived on a lake and jug fished! The old river bed was about 50 yards off the end of his pier. He would get in his little John boat with a trolling motor and check his jugs .. he’d only have like 3 or 4. He enjoyed it so much!
Happy to see that you n your family are fine..there were so many tornadoes yesterday..prayers for the families that were n the paths..have a blessed day
Great video, glad you started making vids on this channel again - love the DIY and outdoor stuff Did I miss the part where you talked about the line your using (Pound Test) Now you need to do a {CATCH CLEAN COOK} from all those Cats you caught 👍
Thanks for the video! Could you try using a zip tie around the pipe at end of noodle to stop it from sliding? May use less crome tape that way. Just curious.
Great video today Kevin, thanks for sharing this with us. I don't get out fishing anymore but I used to when I was younger and when my parents were alive. My parents used to take us 7 kids out fishing as much as possible but they were hard workers so we didn't get to go that often. But thank you again for sharing and enjoy your weekend. Oh and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TOMORROW KEVIN AND PLEASE TELL Y'ALL'S DAD'S I SAID HELLO AND HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TOMORROW ALSO. God Bless y'all 🙏 and keep up the good work.💙
I'm so glad that you shared this! I'm ready to get the items and go fishing with my grandsons and hope I can out fish them😂! Thank you for sharing! And I wish you a very Happy Father's Day!!
Loved learning how to make these. But here in Indiana you can get in trouble taking anything from our railroads. But I'm sure there is something else that could be used for weight. But I love this concept.
Not much catfishing in my nearby area unfortunately. However, I appreciate the lesson very much. I was wondering on a possible solution or addition to keep the pool noodle from slipping on the pipe. Rubber cement. It stays flexible when dry, watertight wouldn’t add a lot of weight to the noodle. I would personally keep using your tape trick, but if you wanted additional security, it might just work.
Kevin get a rubber ring that just snugly fit over the pvc pipe run it down to the noodle then wrap with the reflective tape you use less tape and the noodle can’t slide!
I use the return address labels on the cap with a piece of clear packaging tape for ID, works on my bank poles and yo yos have been checked by game warden no problem.
Wouldn't it be easier to put a hole thru the pipe at the bottom were the Noodle is were u put the tape?? Drill a hole and put a large screw etc in the hole and then the noodle won't move up and down?? Just an easier idea....😊
Small self tapping screws would work too. Probably hundreds of ways to rig them. We rigged differently, didn't use pvc pipe, caught fish, couple of bass even, when crayfish were used for bait
Just a small maybe . if you have a glue gun and few wraps of the hot glue on the pvc just before the noodles slipped on it should hold it without using a ton of crome duct tape.
Cut off a 2 inch piece of the 3/4 pipe, then cut a slot from end to end. Heat the piece and spread it enough to fit tightly over the 3/4 inch pipe you inserted through the section of pool noodle. This should keep the pool noodle where you want it, and it won’t come off like the tape might.
Way to much time explaining the stuff needed. As you show people the build you can explain the items your using. Lost me at the tape. What a shotty piece of work.
Yall have a good weekend on the HHF!!
Good job. Just waiting for you to take the family fishing again. I love to watch you all pull them in. Good luck ,andGod bless.❤

This reminds me of when I was young my Dad and I would go jug fishing. I loved it. Thanks for the memories.

Now you need to do a {CATCH CLEAN COOK} from all those Cats you caught 👍
Nice and neat 👍
Way cool! Looks like a pretty easy way to make your own fishing jugs.
Happy Father's Day, Kevin!
God bless😊❤

Thanks for the noodle making lesson ! 😊
I'm glad you showed this.
Hey Kevin. Thanks for the video. I learned a lot from it.
New subscriber here. Man I love what I'm seeing a family channel.
Super nice project!!!

Happy Father's Day Kevin and Rachel's Dad! We used to use 2 liter soda bottles, and eventually made it to the pool noodles...lol 😂😅

the iron RR ties... fantastic! save some money
Love instructional videos
Like the lesson but i enjoy useing my fishing rod like the fight of catching a cat fish love eating them also Happy Fathers Day
Good video. I’m ready to fish.
Great video
Interesting stuff thanks. Chris from England
Sweet! Clean simple and it works. Question , will the PVC glue work on holding the noodle solid?
That’s what we do. Add a little glue to the pvc pipe then slide the noodle down and hold it for a min til the glue sets up.
Great info.

I want use this method because I don't fish but a very interesting video for those who do
Nice! I wonder what you'd catch if you put that fishing magnet as an anchor?
Happy Father's day to all the Father's out there and the mom's who plays both roles❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I had an issue with the noodles sliding on the pvc, I just shot a little silicone in there and it cured the problem.
Back in the day we used to soldier juicy juice cans together with a couple rocks in them when things were made of metal
Have you ever tried airpods in them to help track them
Hey Kevin, did you ever find your knife? Enjoyed the video!
❤️
I use the pipe glue to hold the noodle
I'm planning on experimenting with a heavy weight to keep the fish close. I've poured ready mix into 16oz plastic cups.
Thieves keep stealing both the fish and the jugs off Lake Oologah. About to set them up and do over watch on them. 😎 nice video

Just checked, jug fishing is allowed on our lake - yay! About how long are you cutting the noodle?
What about using 2 colors of noodles in a 25/75 mix to make them unique? Would silicon caulk hold the noodles in place?
Very informative video.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.
GOD BLESS Y'ALL
💡👍💡👍💡
why don't you put a rubber coating on the railroad spikes so they don't corrode?

👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
YOU COULD ALSO GET SOME RUBBER O RINGS AND USE TO HOLD THE NOODLE IN PLACE
I've seen the newdooles in the stores but not how there made it's kool
In Michigan it is illegal and considered unsportsman like to jug fish.
IL single hook

Cannot find the cleaning of the alligators. Please help.
Just do it.
We write our last name on the jugs in permanent marker. It eliminates confusion.
Save your tape just put the glue on noodles slide pipe and done
Doesn't fishing like that take the fun or the sport out of fishing?
