Among some of us, Muhammad Ali enjoyed respect all along not just at the end. This is because he spoke candidly about racism in America and the hypocrisy of sending young, African American men to fight a dirty war while those same young men were not treated like human beings right here in America!!!

I approached her, and asked if I could help her, she said" Yesss!" (Excitedly), I laughed....she then said, "Do you know who I am?" I replied, "No,"... Then she replied, "I'm the cat woman rrrrrrrrrrr...." I laughed and said, "Oh, Wow," she then said, "Darling, your too young to recall," I continued to help her...she needed jewels for a trip....She was sweet and entertaining as a customer❤😊❤

Not all of us have the ability to just pull our kids to another school. Instead of criticizing the education system by telling others what to do about, mabye YOU should help to actually correct the system you hate so much, ACTUALLY help the people who are struggling Instead of yourself. Also private schools often teach a white washed, Christian version of the truth. And finally we are not "indians" we are indigenous people. Eartha Kitt on Bruce Springsteen:
"I think that Springsteen is playing into the hands of the enemy," she said. "I think that it is wrong for us to stand on a stage where people have paid to hear us sing or play an instrument and entertain them - it is the wrong place for politics. But if you ask me a question, if I was in the dressing room, I would give you an opinion.'

Johnson was notorious for targeting people who did not follow the “company line” about the war and his policies at the time. Also, I’m pretty sure the fact that she was black had something to do with it. It was a gross injustice what Johnson and the the First Lady did to Eartha. I hope they both are turning over in their graves. They certainly don’t deserve eternal peace.

She stood and fought for justice when no one else had the courage to stand with her and speak out, and use her power, to help end a war that the US never should have fought in the first place. The Vietnam War was " the wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place," as General James Gavin, US Army, (ret.), 82nd Airborne commanding general, said in 1966, and there were Americans with Ho Chi Minh and the Viet Minh in 1945--Major Patti and the Deer Team---who stated to Truman's State Department in fall 1945 that there was no way we should back the French coming back to power in Indochina. God bless Eartha Kitt. God hates cowards and liars, and she is neither, she was brave when we needed people to stand and fight against the Vietnam War and end it.
