I have watched a gazillion YT videos. How am i just now finding you? I am full of praise for your review at the end. Absolutely great addition to YT. And the direct links for each product used are much appreciated. Gorgeous art!
Good morning. I am soooo glad to see u r trying geodes I cannot wait to see you do more. I too am wanting to try one my hand at them. Will enjoy learning from you. I love the hearts. Happy Valentine’s Day
I keep watching and saying I'm going to try these projects but haven't jumped in yet. So I live vicariously thru you for now. I know you have a fb page. I should go over there and get some tips. Tyfs. Beautuful projects!!! Absolutely love all of your pieces!
All 3 of these are are just stunning. I am going to order the Eye Candy snowflake and red. They are gorgeous! Once you have painted on the gold around the glass and the edges you might want to flood coat with clear resin to maintain the integrity of the gold.
Oh thank you! I don't remember if I put them away with the valentine stuff or If I brought them to the food pantry and gave them away. LOL I guess I will find out next valentines. thanks for the tip i will try to remember that for the next one. i have seen them do that when they make the geodes on canvas .
Fantastic video hon! I've done quite a few pieces on canvas and wood and l just LOVE your idea! Truly stunning! ❤ l also love the ease in what you teach sharing tidbits to help out beginners. Big 🫂 from a fellow artist from Ontario 😊
Lovely!!! All are beautiful although i do like the unpainted crystal borders... looks more geode-ish ;) Good advice on the crushed glass, I would have gotten shards too. I think I'll put mine in a shaker top container!
If you put it in a shaker top, just be careful because when I put that on the red and gold areas were dry, and if other areas were wet, the glass would go there also when you wouldn’t be able to remove it
Linda, I finally have my Tumblr going. I realized I’m going through a lot of grit. Have you ever tried sand? I used crushed up seashells the other day, and that worked pretty good but, I have a lot of sand.😂 Edit: I bought 36 grit first. Was looking to buy bulk , maybe 5 lb to save money but can only find 60/90 bulk $24 I’m sure I will have to run the Tumblr longer if I use the 60/90 . Looking to NOT pay ssh
Also if the grit still feels gritty ( If that's a word LOL) you could still use it. For example I tumbled some stained glass stems for 1 day and instead of dumping everything out I just fished the stems out and then the next day I had some more stained glass leaves and I threw those in for 8 hours and fished those out and I plan on using for another tumble.
I found a few glass pieces at goodwill (overpriced 😵) that have a texture on one side that I’d like to preserve We have a sand blaster at work and once I’m shown how to use it, maybe I ca sand the sides and save the awesome bubble texture on the top 🤷♀️ Otherwise I’ll have to haul out my glass grinder
Beautiful hearts and I do think both are very pretty. My preference is without the gold but I really don’t feel it’s a deal breaker because both ways are stunning.🤍💕🤍
They are so beautiful!! 💖😊 Always thanks for sharing!! Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you! You too!

Thank you. yes I have been watching a bunch of videos and will be doing more in the future!
Wow. You did a great job. On the gold lining aspect, I have to agree that less gold can be used, especially on the small projects. Love your hearts! ❤
Thanks so much!
TAN LINDA, TAN CREATIVA, FELICITACIONES!!
Gracias

I love the idea of varnish with mica powder. I’ve seen the varnish at HL near resin stuff and now I know why. Time to visit the dollar store.
I hope they have them again this year!
Beautiful! You are a fantastic teacher! Thank you
You are so welcome!
They are all so beautiful. I like both, with and without the gold on the edges. I'm no help. Lol. Much love from Texas 🤠❤
Thanks so much 😊
I have watched all your videos! I just love what your doing. You have inspired me to get out my old frames and buy some epoxy. Your work is beautiful!
That is awesome! Thank you!
Beautiful! I love them both but the gold on the edged defines it more. I love watching you experiment. The colours are beautiful as well. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Love your videos so much! I think I like how the small ones look.
Thanks so much 😊 Yes I like the smaller ones more because I didn't put the gold on the edges.
Love them both ways. Very pretty!

I agree about the gold on top, better without. Great minds think alike 😊

@@crazyglasslady Love your channel! Very talented!
Good job...I would love to see purple or pink too
Thanks, yes that would be a pretty color combination.
These came out amazing! Really great project. ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
I love them both
But if I had to chose I’d prefer the gold on the top and bottom
As usual beautiful work Linda ❤
Thanks so much 😊

Not sure if I explained that correctly
Yep, i noticed the stray pieces bounced off the cured resin :)
That eye candy is supposed to be highly pigmented. Best recommended reds
I love this red!

Yes I have used sand and its fine to use and if you use grit you don't need to use as much as they say. I know the grit is expensive.
@@crazyglasslady thanks 😊

@@crazyglasslady ok
Ran it 3 times so far
The glass is coming out “right “
Think I need more practice 🤩
