- The KTLA newsfilm collection at UCLA consists of cut and unedited stories, outtakes and fill footage, originally shot on 16mm reversal film stock with magnetic soundtrack. Some footage, particularly material not used for broadcast, may be without sound.

Summary: Senator Robert F. Kennedy arrives in Los Angeles where he is scheduled to speak at several venues, including USC and a town meeting. Reporters ask questions on a variety of topics to which he responds. Topics addressed include the political significance of Republican John Lindsay's victory in the mayoral race for New York City, labor unions, and Kennedy's efforts to unite the Democratic Party. Note that although the responses are clear, many of the questions are barely audible. Material includes shots of a TWA jet arriving at the airport and taxiing on the runway and Kennedy and his wife, Ethel, being escorted through a door.
