In all fairness, I fully understand that RFK was caught off guard in this interview and that he is not making a prepared speech. All he did in this interview was show his pretty face. I grow tired of the adoring praise that this man gets some fifty years after his assassination. He was no better or worse than any other elected official in his time or any other time. He might have been president, and if so would not been any better or worse than his brother, Johnson, Nixon or Reagan. I respect him. I will not kiss his ass nor will I participate in any sob story as to how our country would have been better off had he lived or become president. The USA has survived without him and we must make the best of it. There have been and will continue to be plenty of other individuals as qualified as RFK to lead our nation. Certainly not Trump!
The kids of Robert imo the best looking or close to looking like him are Rory who was born 6 months after he died and Michael who was killed playing football on skis in Colorado. It's the Kennedy teeth I call it...his daughters are all beautiful....
As he said more than once, he had to return to New York before he could give an answer to the strike. I'm sure he would have thoroughly investigated the situation before having an opinion or solution.
@@oldtimer794 I believe OP is saying that he wasn't from NY and he didn't grow up taking subways. His experience in that sector was dismal. That's not an insult, just an observation. When you run in a different state, you're not going to know much. That's why I also think it's a joke that Dr. Oz is running in PA when he is really from NJ. I'm sorry but all the random people passing behind him is kinda funny, It's so strange compared to today. Politicians tend not to mix with normal people as much.
Oh dear god we need this man today...
👍🇺🇸🙏🏽
Sharp footage from these times is always so valuable in getting a feel for how things were. its preserving history, and its important. thank you!
Damn even the press had respect back then.
Always for the Kennedy brothers and also most Americans felt he was in perpetual mourning for his brother.
@@Pharoset That was far from being an ambush...they were cordial. Trump was ambushed...

The questions also are important and pointed. Respectful and important. I'll take that over "gotcha".
Incredibly likeable.
A great father like his brother. ❤️
In the days when politicians gave straight answers.
He was generous to LBJ, despite the fact the President intensely disliked him.
What strait answers? He said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in this interview!
Lyndon Johnson was a vile Figure

What a wonderful father and family man was the late Senator Robert F.
Kennedy!
He had an affair with Marilyn Monroe too...and other women. Oh right, he was a faithful husband...LOL
@@johnnypastrana6727 There is absolutely no proof of an affair with Marilyn Monroe or ant other women. It's all just heresy.
@@johnnypastrana6727 Poor Marilyn--she couldn;t act and tried to kill herself 3 times. The fourth time she did it!

Yep, didn't even get a chance to fix the cowlick.
Good voice and work
