RFK was not the President of the USA, he was assassinated in November 1968 during the pre-election campaign. A great tragedy for the USA and the world. He would have been president for sure, but unfortunately fate took a fatal path.

I seriously believe that is the world’s population would appoint or elect musicians as their leaders, and not politicians and dictator types, what a wonderful world, apologies toSatchmo, who wants, by the way, when I asked by a reporter if he owned any of the new Beatles albums, stated man, if it has a beat, I buy. Namaste friend.
@@christophercox8237 Beautifully stated and I hope your recovery goes well. A suggestion, pick up an instrument and start to play again, it's great for muscle memory and stimulates the brain. Wishing you all the best. Love is always here
43 days before his murder!
Who could have guessed?
What a waste!
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The old 'establishment' has been re-packaged as 'colonialism'. History doesn't exactly repeat itself but it does rhyme.
And now we have RFK Jr. 😊
And 2 months later, Bobby would be GONE......
But where are the other episodes especially MLK’s??
Robert F Kennedy for 2024❤…same issues with More sinister forces 2023//RFK 2024
Harry was a giant too.
Heaven is for Heroes, R.I.P... 2024 Run R.F.K.jr. Run.
RFK was dead within six weeks. This is April 24 1968; he was murdered on June 6 1968.
yes, shot June 4, pronounced dead June 6.
Never really felt the same about life after Bobby was shot . I was 8 years old living in Arcadia California and was so excited about RFK becoming our president then i woke up one morning my mom said Brent Bobby Kennedy was shot last night i couldn't understand why this happened and why they couldn't get the bullet out all day long l was praying asking god please make Bobby ok please god 🙏 and then the next morning i woke up and my mom said Brent Bobby died i cried & cried 💔 we all did 💔. THIS GOD DAM PLACE 🌍🌎🌏 THIS GOD DAM WORLD 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀✅️
I’ll never forget watching just after midnight that victory speech from California. I’ll never forget watching the next night when Frank Mankiewicz announced that Bobby had died. I’ll never forget watching all the days and nights following. I’ll never forget at 11 years old the day my childhood ended.
I’ll never forget losing my Hero. At almost 66 I still ask “WHY” and cry. Bobby, the best President we never had.
His Son (Jr.) is an insult and embarrassment to his Dad's Intelligence, Common Sense, Memory and Legacy.
Bobby would vote for Joe Biden.
Who was the guy smoking the pipe next to him,it looks like bill Cosby
It is, and maybe that's not a tobacco pipe?
Hard to believe RFK would be assassinated 44 days later. Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated 20 days prior to this show. Horrible tragedies of Spring, 1968.
this interview was April 24th 1968 , by June he was gone Senator Kennedy
Was this in NY or LA?
NY. On May 1, 1972 the showed aired from CA.
Wonderful interview. So sad to know Robert Kennedy was killed approximately 48 days from this interview. True humanitarian he and Harry Belafonte. I was appalled to see Cosby !! He wasn’t worthy to sit in their presence!!
True, but no one knew the real Bill Cosby back then. As a matter of fact no one knew for years.
They didn't know that at the time even he himself hadn't done the things he was accused of later in life.
Robert f Kennedy. The best PRESIDENT THAT WE WILL EVER HAVE.HE WILL BECELECTED. JUST WATCH ME LIKE LORRIE MORGAN
1968, Two American Giants.
We had better conduct our lives trying to finish what they courageously lived for.
By the way, I work with at risk youth; every ethnic group has spiked but...
Native Americans STILL have the highest death by suicide rate.
Correct. I have age 20, 25 and 18 extended family youth who are Alaska Natives dealing with rehab, homelessness, substance use, hs drop out etc snowballed during pandemic
Bobby got down in the trenches with the poor and downtrodden even though he was a man of wealth. He cared enough about all people to get to know them regardless of socioeconomic status
who are the other people on the couch?
Bill Cosby & Ed McMahon
RFK Jr 2024!!
Are you quoting the attendees at your funeral?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. For President 2024 !
Robert is turning in his grave over what happened to his son. Robert should have been the President. Sure could use someone like him now!!

Six weeks later he is dead. Shot in the head
I’m surprised Cosby wasn’t erased from this video.
People loved Bill Cosby. I loved Bill Cosby. Nobody knew how evil he was until almost fifty years later.
Where is the interview w Dr King????????? No one has it. Is this a tease to make money? Why is the full segment with Dr King and Belafonte as host not availalbe?
That’s because almost all of the 60s tonight shows are missing due to tape wiping. This is black and white and looks like it’s from a kinescope
@@rvstuff5 wow. sounds intentional. thanks for the breadcrumb in this mystery *( strange part is there is a clip of the airplane joke by King but i can't find more. . . . . so there is some footage
There is an audio version of that particular show on UA-cam somewhere. I listened to it about a year ago. It's very good.
@@clumsiii it was intentional, the BBC erased most of the early dr who episodes for similar reasons, tape was expensive
@@rvstuff5 dang. Priorities huh

When American Dream was a Reality.
For White people. It's always been a nightmare for Black people living in Dam Erikkka.
Right because police beating black people and native Americans to death and arresting them for what they put in their bodies is living the life…..sheesh
Get your family protected through cash building life insurance. Ask me how!
Back before Belafonte fell in love with Hugo Chavez and started talking out his ass about, oh, _everything_
Harry Belafonte was always on the side of the marginalized. Guess you didn't know that!
You did not seem to care when your lesbian mother was sucking EVERYTHING in sight. She was trying to give her ASS to EVERY BLACK MAN around.
@@bobcosmic I think John Simpson knew he just didn't care.
@@hannejeppesen1809 Yup, I can well believe that.
Back when Democrats were not Communists.
Comments like this go to show Roger Ailes accomplished his media mission. Really, what are you even talking about? Biden is essentially a Reagan-era Republican, right down to campaigning on assault weapon bans. It’s just that Republicans have gone so far right that, as Ailes always dreamed, the Republican base of today would never have turned on Nixon. Communists. Ridiculous.
We're still NOT communists, ya twit!
