I ran a roller cammed 350 Chevy in my XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe for 15 years. It was very fast and reliable. The XK 120 coupe was the great grandfather of the XJC. Nice to see the formula working in another beautiful Jaguar Coupe.
Pretty cool! I love seeing unusual cars at the track! Thst looked to be a 1997-1998 Integra Type R, not the RS model. Could've been a clone though. Some people use the RS model since it, too, doesn't have a factory sunroof.
Love seeing a xjc on the track would like to see more information on what you have done to the car ..... Have a xj12c lumped with a L4 that I have way to much money and time invested in .... my biggest challenges were upgrading the chassis .... they will crack when you start adding the horsepower and lower chassis rigidity.
Bottom line, I'm out there doing it, where are you on track vid's with your V12 powered car? BTW I've done that too and did also built a V12 6 speed XJS with a T56 magnum. You can see it in my other vids. You need a NASA sized budget and time frame to get one of these V12's to 400HP. Life is short and my Coup is now LS powered and getting close to 600HP.
@@icsamerica You haven’t looked on my vids then have you.. My jag was not far off it and I hadn’t even fitted the polished and ported heads to it either! And it didn’t cost me thousands to get to that stage. You stick with your pretend jag and I’ll stick with my proper jags…
my friend lost 3 brandnew V12 in 1987 on German Autobahn still under warranty when chasing BMWs they all dropped valve seats and crashed valves@@paulfitzgerald7513
@@paulfitzgerald7513 Oh yes they do. A friend of my dropped a valve in a 1990 first time on the track. The Ford made 6.0L V12's are good and tough though.
@@icsamerica You’re an American, you know nothing of how to look after jaguars V12’s as has been proven many a time. All you lot do is moan about the engine when the weakest point on those cars was the American gearbox that sapped all power from them!

Jag kicks ass as always
That xjc is gotta be the fastest ones ...cool

Search for XJC 2015 and 2017 project on Jaguar forums, I detailed many of the chassis upgrades there.
Some XJ-C Righteousness 🔥
I thought xjc’s only came in series 2 models. Also what’s the engine mods. Seems to run pretty hard.
Small block Chevy, 406CI with Northstar DIS
are you still running the Northstar dis?
No, it has an LS swap now. The engine is going in a C4 Corvette with a slightly bigger cam and headers.
Fab video, would much rather here engine than music tho! HNY
Me too. I have no idea how to get good engine sound at 120 MPH over the wind noise. Someone tell me the secret.
@@icsamerica found a few youtube vids, this looks promising. Making slow progress on my XJC BTW ua-cam.com/video/VD80yKfu_dQ/v-deo.html
What engine you using in the XJC?
406 SBC with AFR heads and Stealth RAM intake, very mild cam.
This is not a XJC, just a car with an american V8. It's a shame to put anything else than a jaguar engine in a jaguar.
Shame it is no longer really a Jag with that engine in it. A V12 taken out to Lister or Broadspeed specs would be a better engine option.
Not a shame, it's lighter faster and more reliable. Do what you wish with your Coupe, I'll do what I wish with mine and there NO shame in any of that.
@@icsamericaApart from that it’s no longer a jag..

@@paulfitzgerald7513 I looked, nothing there. Post a link,
You cant use V12 engines from Jag because they have Indian made heads and drop valve seats
No they don’t 🤦🏻♂️

Cant watch as ruined by music
