Oh the 90s. Being a teen back then was truly a gift of life,. .... people were real and genuine,.... everyone had a unique look,....best days of my life..🇦🇺🇦🇺🙏🙏
Miss the days of uniqueness...everyone needs to have the same things as everyone else now...
Yes
I’m a child of both the 80’s and 90’s… mostly 80’s…. Both were great times but it has been said that the 90’s didn’t live up to its expectations…It was said that the 90’s were gonna make the 60’s look like the 50’s…. Not sure but just a thought..Bless
Depends were you lived 🙄 we were used to bombs and genocide
I love the way you said this
One of the most beautiful songs ever. Pure 90s nostalgia. Hope Sandoval sounds like an angel. Great reaction.
I was thinking earlier.
I'm a grunge/metal guy but damn this song hits some hard nostalgia and its beautiful .
This is that song the girls were listening to but we didn't complain.
A song that can fit into any era. Timeless.
That song always finds a way to hurt my soul, it makes me picture a couple aging and then dying or fading into you means catching up with the departed partner by passing away.
As a female growing up in the 90s this album was on repeat in my cd player
same
I've spent the last hour listening to your sessions of songs I've heard hundreds of times, something soothing about witnessing another beautiful human being enjoy something equally as much
it is breathtaking, to see your soul melt into this song… in exactly the same way mine does, every. single. time. i hear it. it’s nearly impossible not to.
Watch this song live. She is mesmerizing.
Her sound was unique... loved her music.
This was featured in 3 tv show recently. It’s beyond timeless.
Hopes singing is so gentle, sweet and feminine. As is she. She’s pretty much a dream for me
This was my first dance with my wife at our reception... such a beautiful piece of musical art... thank you for giving it a listen
This is one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar. After dark I’d drive to the cemetery and play it for him. And now for my other brother too
This song always makes me want to cry...brings back so many memories 😭 I love Hope Sandoval! Great choice ❤️🔥
In my top 5 of all time fave female singers.Another beautiful haunting song by Mazzy Star/Hope is Into Dust.
Check out first aid kit - the lions roar
I've always had a difficult thinking who my favorite female singer of the 90's was, Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays, Natalie Imbruglia, or Hope. All three have their own styles and sound, but this is one of my top five songs of all time. It doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing, I stop and almost tear up every time I hear this song and am covered in goosebumps. Not only does it remind me of the greatest time of my life, and in my opinion the greatest music of any era, it also brings a lot of sadness but in a good way. She has the most beautiful voice and So tonight that I might see is one of the most underrated albums of that era, Fade into you will always be considered pure 90's genius. RIP David Roback, him and Hope made some amazing music together.
Thanks for reacting to this classic. So smooth and instantly nostalgic - something so melancholic and yet naive in her voice.
That's baby-makin' music. 😉
One of my favorite groups. Hope Sandoval's solo stuff is wonderful as well
Coming from a guy who's favorite band ever is Tool, this one is still one of the best I've ever heard.
My wife and I always wanted to have a daughter , we where gonna name her Mazzy..... it's a song we both grew up with. Sadly ... all I gave her was 3 boys.. don't get me wrong I love my boys but it would've been awesome to have a daughter.
My favorite song. 😎
The performance of this from Jools Holland is mesmerising. Nothing to do with Hope being absolutely gorgeous of course...
One of my favorites! I've sing along with each song of every album they made! So glad you got to listen to them. ☺️💞💖
Maranatha 💖🙏🏻
She's one of the FEW singers for whom when I first her her voice, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing.
Dude, check out Fiona Apple. Another overlooked nineties singer….she does probably one of the greatest Beatles covers of all time with her rendition of Across the Universe. But she also has some great original songs with a serious blues vibe.
All props and respect for reacting to this song. Super amazing and awesome. Thank you
They started out as Opal with singer Kendra Smith. After she left for a solo career, they got Hope Sandoval on vocals and changed their name to Mazzy Star. What does it means? Who knows, but it's beautiful.
❤️❤️Beautiful song❤️❤️ So glad you listened to it ❤️❤️
This is one of my top ten favorite songs of all time.
I absolutely love this song.
You're picking so many good tracks to react to lately 👍
It is a love song. About loving someone and not receiving the same. I think it’s strange you never knew. . .
Anyone remember the movie Angus from the 90s? I'm almost positive this song was in the show dance scene ....
Gary Clark jr - “when my train pulls in “ is an absolute banger
Among the nicest celebs I've ever met
This song, perfectly perfect... Hope Sandoval
Is a Goddess💘
Such a great song
Hey Nathan, really enjoying your videos! Please listen to Her’s - What Once Was and Blur - Tender
One of my all time favs!!
God, this whole album breaks my heart
Try flowers in December by mazzy Probably their best song imo
Beautiful song
So much nostalgia. 🤩😭
Beautiful
Love this song. Heard Kelly Clarkson do a cover of it recently and it was so good. Great song
You can always tell when Nat truly vibes with a song, the reactions are always visual and less vocal
Excellent song. However, I love the live performance on Jools Holland.
timeless
Give Pearl Jam's comeback a try
Can you please listen to grouper - Heavy water/id rather be sleeping
Can you listen to hana by asa chang and junray
Still after knowing the words dont understand what she is trying to say? Am I def or dumb?
Nah man I doubt your dumb, even tho dumb people aren't rare these days. Maybe you don't understand because you haven't gone thru something in life that relates enough to this song for you to understand it. And hopefully you'll never have to.
