Fantastic! Really appreciate the time you took to explain and show your set up. Arkel truly has awesome bags. I went with a pannier rack and Arkel Dry lites vs the seat packer. I have the Arkel frame bag and burrito handle bar bag + 2 Ortlieb 4.1 L fork bags that attach so nice on the forks and easy to get on and off. They offer a nice amount of extra space. Thanks for this video.
That was interesting, some decent gear there. I guess it takes a while to get to know how to pack it all efficiently as possible! Excellent video, thanks.
Hey Josh, recently became fascinated with your biking adventures, especially the china trip. Could you recommend types of tyres that are appropriate? I remember you mentioning that it would've been easier with a mountain bike, can you get punctureless tires for that kind of trip? I do not want to be carrying tubes and equipment in excess just to deal with punctures and the like. Thanks man, incredible stuff.
Hey man, thanks for the video - just wondering fi you had any issues attaching the handlebar bike packing bag because of the giant conduct system that's attached the the revolt?
Enjoyed your video, very interesting what you packed. Is you bike a Revolt Advance 0? I am waiting for mine. Do you mind if I ask, what size (height) are you and what frame size is your bike. I’m 5’ 71/2”, so unsure if in should get a medium or a small, frame size. Thanks. Safe cycling.
Hi Josh, really insightful video! Would you recommend the Giant Revolt as a tourer? Seems a very capable machine getting you home from China. I have a Giant Defy as my road bike but after watching your videos I have the bug for a gravel/tour bike to head off on my own mini adventure.
Are you by any chance sponsored by Robens? Did you use/take any soap either to wash yourself or your clothing? I don't recall you pulling any out. I know I asked you on your last video about Covid restrictions regulations going to France and returning to the UK and you did reply, thank you, but could you give a little more detail, how easy was it to arrange tests especially in France and how much did they cost you? Can you take test kits with you from the UK or are they easier to get and cheaper in France? I am thinking travel abroad is still too much hassle and to wait for things to improve. Also how did you get from UK to the south of France and back? Sorry for all the questions. In normal times I wouldn't be asking.
Robens have helped me out with kit for the past few trips. It’s really good stuff. No I didn’t take any soap, it was a pretty short trip so didn’t really need any. It is a bit of hassle to get back to the UK. I had kits to take out so that it was less hassle. And then booked my 2 day test just before I left to be posted to my home address.
@@Josh-Reid Thanks for your sharing what you did. Very helpful. Arriving in France doesn't seem to be a problem just the return to UK? Maybe the best thing to do would be to buy a cheap dinghy and paddle back across the Channel. Get rescued by the RNLI and welcomed with open arms by Border Farce ..........
@@Josh-Reid I was curious. Robens do a good little stool. I have one can't remember it's name but it's good for cycle touring. They also do some fantastic tiny folding titanium stoves great for bike packing. You would have blended in well with the French not having any soap ;@)

Super interesting what can all be fitted in such a small space
Solid breakdown
Great video, thank you. The music at the end is a bit of a jump scare Maybe you could tune the volume a bit?
Sorry about that. Will be more careful with the music in the future
Great review of your kit. Really like the seat bag. would you use it again?
Yeah I’d definitely use it again. Used it on all my big trips.
is the Giant stem bag the H2Pro Stem bag?
I notice there's not much room between your rear bag and your back tyre. Do you experience only tyre rub on the bag?

I use tubeless tires. But would always recommend to take tubes just in case. I’m currently using teravail tyres.
@@Josh-Reid Awesome website, thanks.

Yeah I’d definitely recommend the Revolt. It’s been great for what I’ve needed it for.
Good guide, thx. You carry B12, are you plant-based ?
I am yes
A good, simple, helpful video. Donated to pizza fund. Big question: pineapple on pizza?
Thanks very much appreciated. Yeah I’d have pineapple on a pizza.

Frame looks too big
No space for food and cooking kit
