I think the problem was that everybody, from his closest friends to his mum, were constantly pointing out that he’s not an doctor and that he doesn’t make as much money. Even if you don’t care about that sort of thing if all the people important in your life started acting like it was important you probably would start doubting yourself. If it has only been one or two jokes I think Howard’s reaction wouldn’t have been justified, but since it kept happening I can see that affecting his confidence and make him think he’s doing something wrong.
Great point!! I even know how that feels. Like if anyone makes maybe 1 or 2 jokes on a certain subject about me, I wouldn’t be bothered, but when I’m hearing it constantly and over and over again, then it starts to feel personal

Leonard because he dated her, Sheldon because of an adhesive duck deficiency (S03E08) and now Raj... and it's just funny that Howard has missed out given what a hound dog he was in the beginning. Sure, he's got Burnadette now, but you can't honestly say he wouldn't jump at the chance if given the opportunity.

I've been waiting for you to get to this episode. I watched it live, and the Facebook Big Bang groups blew up that night over Penny and Raj. And it really did suck to have to wait 4 months to see what happened next. Speaking of sucking, Priya just sucked and was a manipulative hypocrite. Her and Leonard's relationship was toxic. Though I'm a Leonard and Penny shipper, I'd rather have had him with Dr. Stephanie. There were issues there, but I think they could've been worked through. It's ironic how you don't think Raj should be in a relationship any time soon, but like Howard and Bernadette together. Raj spent years copying Howard's behavior toward women... Howard has ridiculed Raj for being too considerate of women, and Howard has been disrepectful to Bernadette multiple times after Howard supposedly became a better person. Bernadette's relationship with Howard was not good for her character development. While Raj has some cringe-worthy disrespectful moments, there are other times he is far more respectful and better relationship material than any of the guys... and better than Penny, who can be horribly disrepectful from time to time. None of these characters are anywhere close to perfect. They all have disrespectful things they do and say, so the level of animosity you have toward Raj baffles me. Honestly, if these were real people and I was single and had to pick one for a relationship... out of all the men and women in the main cast, I'd pick Raj. Ground rules would need to be clear about what was okay and not okay behavior, but he's the one with the most potentional to be a loving partner in a relationship... heck, just think of in this episode, how he went out of his way to have a nice meal with Sheldon, despite all their arguements while sharing an office. He's the one who regularly goes the extra mile to be considerate and make sure other people are having a good time.
Even though penny is kind of known for being abit of butterfly and basically having no self control when it comes to drinking and many bad decisions i was still shocked she slept with Raj. I mean I don't blame raj penny is hot I'd do it too lol but she should have known better because she's coming between best friends in a way. oh well. the situation was made pretty funny by the script writing . ( and yes I know they didn't actually do it but it could've easily happened)
Honestly, I can't blame either anyway. Sure Leonard is allowed to be upset, but both Raj and Penny are adult humans who can do whatever they want. Not to mention he's already in a relationship, one that is also upsetting to Raj in its own way, and he's not breaking it off for him (and he doesn't have to, but neither would Raj, is my point).

I felt as if she was using leanord almost in the same way Howard has used women in the past, it's just perceived differently because she's a woman. I feel leonard to much. I had a filipina girlfriend. They kinda accepted me, but not really. Her brother hated me and sometimes he was sleeping on the couch because our room was next to his room xD
What I got from this episode was Penny obviously have a thing for damaged guys. Sure we could blame it on the alcohol but in reality, they knew exactly what they were doing. When you start season 5, you'll see. Also, call me selfish for thinking this (idc) but karma is a bitch. Leonard stole Howard's date in the 2nd season and he dated Raj's sister against his will. He broke two bro codes and it was bound to happen to him. So I definitely didn't feel bad for his character. P.s can't wait for you to start season 5, so many good things is coming up in those episodes, that's going to blow your mind.
I wish Penny would have ended up with Raj, or really anyone other than Leonard. He is such a bad boyfriend especially later on, and the show really shits the bed with their relationship
