I have, after breakup of 7-month old relationship with my ex girlfriend, and it was the best thing that could ever happen to my life. I've been with them for 4 years. My advice is explore everywhere and find an organisation that do meet ups and you will surely have friends in no time 😁 you deserve love as everyone else in the world ❤
Haha - the scavenger hunt is one of my favorite episodes! It pairs up some characters that we don't usually see together. Fun fact, some years ago I used to live near the MIT campus and one evening I was in a Blockbuster video store and young college aged kids kept coming in asking for a particular movie. It turns out they were on a scavenger hunt and for one of the clues they had to read the text off the back of a particular movie's case.
What is a Blockbuster video store? J/K! 😉 “Be Kind - Rewind” I remember going to a neighborhood “Mom & Pop” video shop before ever seeing a Blockbuster. The first VCR I ever saw was my brother’s top-loading Beta format machine.
There's a few episodes I've recorded and kept, so i can rewatch them, and The Scavenger Hunt is possibly my favourite of them all. It's great pairings and I think all the characters get to shine in this episode.
Stuart’s complaint is contradicted, about never being invited to their fun activities, with the fact he was obviously asked to volunteer his store for the Scavenger Hunt. And as for his complaint about no one buying anything, he should’ve charged Raj to use his store for the scavenger hunt.
15:46 - ‘Well why were you so angry?’ My mother literally wrote a book about me and called it ‘The Disappointing Child;’ do you really need more than that? lol
The devolution of Penny is quite sad. In season 1, she felt horrible that his mom may have written a book called "I hate my son and that's why he can't have cake." In season 7, she finds out that his mom did write a book with a title like that and Penny was all too happy to use it to make Leonard feel bad
Great reaction! I too loved the scavenger hunt. 8:17 Olesya: “He’s like a robot!” Sheldon from a previous episode: “Maybe that’s not the compliment I thought it was.” 😂 Funny you wondered why Stuart was no longer featured as much, then he’s a main part of one of the storylines in the next episode! Thanks for sharing. ❤️
2:05 We Ready!! 3:15 Stop it Sheldon! 6:00 Sweet Carolina!! 6:53 Bernadette is Festy! 8:21 Penny is a Know it all!😅 9:30 Sheldon Cooper has the Power!! 10:17 Bernadette made it up Bad Girl! 11:43 Run Raj!😂 12:09 Freeze Frame!✊🏻 13:18 Sheldon jaw is Dropped!😯 14:56 Indiana Jones is Ruined it! 16:33🤣🤣🤣 Stuart! 18:35 Naughty Leonard! 19:27 Sheldon Evil!😈 20:26 that does not work Howard! 22:37 Leonard it's in Big Trouble! 23:02 Too much Details Beverly!
Oh my god. These were very funny episodes I actually almost passed out laughing. 😂😂😂 When they said "I'm okay with you driving my car I'm not okay with you flying my car." "She's been known to call you a name that applies to a lady part or a cat or a willow." Those quotes made me laugh so hard and I know what Bernedette was talking about. It rhymes with wussy. And also I'm not gonna lie my reaction was the same as yours. And I agree with you in the scavenger hunt episode, Howard and Amy were the only ones having fun and jamming out in the car.
Only the main ending of Raiders would be unaffected if Indy had been there or not. It's an interesting point, but doesn't take away from the movie, which is just fun to enjoy the action and stunts. And Marion would probably have been killed to get the headpiece.
Actually, there's an interpretation that says if Indy wasn't in the movie, they wouldn't have found Marion or the headpiece because they didn't know it was in Nepal. They had to follow Indy to find her. There's a shot of a man watching Indy from behind a magazine on the plane when I takes off to travel to Nepal.
I really hated Penny in the second episode. She's known since season 1 how abusive Leonard's mother is and all the trauma he has from it, and still, she insists on picking Beverly's book and telling him about it. And even though Leonard should not have been manipulating her pretending to be sad for longer than he was, like Amy manipulated Sheldon after she was sick and got better, because the extra attention was nice, Penny using Leonard's abuser to punish him is completely despicable... especially since I'd argue it wasn't a lie, because we've seen that Leonard's trauma from his mom is always just beneath the surface, so often when he's happy, he's still on the verge of being sad. Penny could have just called him out on what he was doing and moved on, but getting Beverly involved was needlessly cruel.
hating a fictional char in a comedy is not healthy- try to figure out why you need to hate people - do you think you are better than them - do you think you are more virtuous than other people - work on it -
Okay, let me clear up the Indiana Jones episode. The Nazis knew they needed The medallion, so they followed Indiana Jones to NEPAL because they had no idea where Marion Ravenwood was. Without Indiana Jones, they never would have found Marion Ravenwood, the medallion, or the Ark... at all.
The scavenger hunt had creative puzzles but it was anti-climatic and disappointing in the end. Leonard took the words out of my mouth; I am so glad he and the girls felt the same way. It made the scene more enjoyable. And that remark Raj made about Penny is something I would expect Sheldon to say!!😂🤣 Favorite quote: “Ever go into a steel cage with a wolverine?”
I can’t believe Sheldon and Penny completed an entire 500-piece puzzle in a few hours. I used to do those when I was young and it took weeks. And I had the answer on the puzzle box; they don’t
0:49 Me too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Raj's murder mystery parties. He is an amazing party planner and showman. 1:49 Not one of your best predictions. Penny is kind of a liability and kind of the best player at the same time. Some of these are science and math puzzles which she can't do at all, but some of these are pop culture puzzles and she knows those better than any of the other main characters. Sheldon is also a half-liability/half-stud, but in the opposite way (he's the master of the math and science puzzles and of doing jigsaw puzzles but he's a liability at pop culture puzzles) Sheldon and Penny make the ultimate team because they cover each other's weaknesses. With them on the same team, you have the best player on the team for every puzzle no matter what the puzzle is. 6:44 That's what I thought, too. In the end, the real winners were Sheldon, Howard, and Amy. Sheldon is a real winner because he was happy in the end. They never told him why there was a coin in his pocket so he ended up thinking he won. Howard and Amy were winners because they found something they had in common. They ended up quitting the game so they could further bond over their common interest. So, these 3 people never got angry in the end. That makes them the real winners. The scavenger hunt episode is one of the most entertaining ones. It pairs up people who'd never been paired up before (Howard-Amy and Leonard-Bernadette). It shows what makes Sheldon and Penny such a super team. It also shows the strengths and weaknesses of Raj's event-planning. For the most part, he did a great job with this. His downfall was the end. He wanted no one to feel bad, and the result was that everybody felt bad except for the people that didn't make it to the end. Sometimes you just can't please everybody, and if you're going to send everyone all around town for this, there better be a winner. In general, it's one of my favorite episodes for all those reasons. The bad thing about the episode: Bernadette. She was a complete bully for the whole episode. She didn't even help with the 2nd puzzle (When she said "Congratulations, you got it last!" she had no right to complain because she didn't help at all Leonard did it by himself which was exactly why he got it last). She lied and caused new problems between Leonard and Penny. This episode furthers the downfall of the Bernadette character. 12:53 I'm like Penny in this way too. Most of my family knows the difference. For the longest time I didn't know there was a difference. Now... well I know there is a difference but I don't care what it is. 19:48 You were not on fire with your predictions this time. The 2nd episode is one of my least favorite episodes ever. I've read articles that prove Amy wrong, but she's never proven wrong in the show. And then we have Penny deliberately making Leonard feel bad by buying his mom's book. The Raj-Stuart storyline is interesting and relatable, though.
Poor Stuart, he’s never invited to be part of the “fun” group activities. He and Zack are my favorite secondary characters, Kripke is good too. Btw, do you know how Penny solved the clue?
Stuart’s complaint is contradicted with the fact he was obviously asked to volunteer his store for the Scavenger Hunt. And as for his complaint about no one buying anything, he should’ve charged Raj to use his store for the scavenger hunt.
I wish they'd let Penny explain how she figured out the clue was under the Rolling Stones poster...Sucking in the '70s is a fine collection including Shattered and Beast of Burden...
Watching this episode made me realise I'm not a good friend when penny and Sheldon found the clue behind the rolling stones poster 1st I would of changed the clue to send the rest to the other side of town I can't be the only 1 to think that
I know they have to make the chapter but obviously Any's comment is totally wrong since it was thanks to Indie that they found the medallion, since he knew its location and they had to follow him. Not to mention that the movie is more about the Ark Quest itself than the ending.
My counter to Amy's assessment to Raiders of the Lost Ark is that had it not been for Indiana Jones, the Ark of the Covenant, one of the holiest relics in Judeo-Christianity, would still be in the hands of the most evil nation to have ever existed. There's also the argument that the film is more about the search for the treasure than the professor of archaeology doing the searching.
I wish I had a large enough friend group to just spontaneously do fun group activities.
